February 24, 2022 Russia begins its invasion of Ukraine. The situation and condition of countries in the world that have just started to recover from being hit by COVID-19, are actually made to worry again due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The implications that are felt are quite painful, especially in the economic field. The world economic situation will weaken in line with rising commodity prices, especially in the economic and food sectors due to the conflict. Indonesia is a country that is active in trade transactions both export and import activities will certainly feel the impact of this conflict. In this study, the author places the formulation of the problem, namely how the influence of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict on Indonesia's economic development in terms of dependency theory. Then, this research uses the type of research that is carried out by normative research and uses the type of theoretical research (theoretical research). In the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Indonesia was quite firm in stating its position as a "free and active" country, which is an advantage for Indonesia to be able to continue to carry out investment activities and export transactions with other countries, including countries involved in the conflict. so that the Indonesian economy continues to grow even in unsafe conditions and situations. But on the other hand, it must be remembered that Indonesia is a developing country that still carries the status of a country that depends on developed countries. So, when the economies of developed countries weaken such as the United States, China, and Russia for example, then Indonesia will feel the same way, the Indonesian economy will also be affected by this. This is the description of the dependency theory explanation put forward by Theotonio Dos Santos

While some countries retain the death penalty as a tool to address drug offenses, citing its deterrent effect and its role in protecting public health, the human rights viewpoint strongly challenges such practices, focusing on the sanctity of the right to life. International legal frameworks set limits on the death penalty's application and urge states to refrain from actions deemed inhumane and ineffective. This article explores the implementation of the death penalty for drug crimes, considering both human rights perspectives and its relationship with international criminal law

    No full text
Tofu industry liquid waste contains ammonia (NH3) and nitrite (NO2-) compounds which can cause pollution if released into the environment without prior processing. Rice husks can be used to make active carbon which acts as a bioadsorbent against various contaminants which is cheap and easy to obtain. The research aims to test the effectiveness of using rice husks in doses of 5 grams, 10 grams and 15 grams as a bioadsorbent on NH3 and NO2- levels in liquid waste at the Rina Tofu Factory. This type of quasi-experimental research with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) approach. Determination of NH3 and NO2- levels using the spectrophotometric method with three replications. Data were analyzed using the One-Way ANOVA test (? = 5%). The research results showed that the initial concentration of NH3 was 0.16 mg/L and fluctuated after contact with rice husks (5 gram dose: RI = 0.13 mg/L, RII = 0.15 mg/L, RIII = 0.25 mg/L; 10 gram dose: RI = 0.21 mg/L, RII = 0.27 mg/L, RIII = 0.12 mg/L dose 15 grams: RI = 0.32 mg/L, RII = 0.26 mg/L, RIII = 0.30 mg/L). Meanwhile, the initial concentration of NO2- was 0.043 mg/L and increased after contact with rice husks (5 gram dose: RI = 0.091mg/L, RII = 0.138 mg/L, RIII = 0.125 mg/L; 10 gram dose: RI = 0.117 mg/L, RII = 0.151 mg/L, RIII = 0.122 mg/L; 15 gram dose: RI = 0.112 mg/L, RII = 0.137 mg/L, RIII = 0.126 mg/L). There is no difference in the effectiveness of using rice husks on NH3 (?-value = 0.114) and NO2- (?-value = 0.750) levels in liquid waste from the tofu industry. Further research needs to be carried out regarding variations in contact time between rice husks and liquid waste from the tofu industry

    No full text
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) in corporate data security presents both opportunities and challenges, particularly in ensuring employee compliance with security policies. This study aims to analyze the influence of corporate policies on employee adherence to AI-driven data security measures, focusing on how well-implemented policies can enhance awareness and compliance. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 200 employees working in companies that integrate AI into their security systems. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to examine the relationship between corporate policies and employee compliance, with employee perceptions of AI serving as a moderating variable. The findings reveal that clear policies and comprehensive training programs have a significant positive impact on employee compliance with data security regulations. Furthermore, employee perceptions of AI moderate this relationship, indicating that those with a more positive understanding of AI are more likely to comply with established security policies. The study concludes that AI implementation for data security must be supported by strong corporate policies, effective training systems, and clear communication between management and employees. Companies must ensure that AI adoption not only strengthens data security but also addresses ethical and privacy concerns to foster trust and compliance among employees

This research investigates the relationships between hospital image, patient satisfaction, and loyalty. Methods: This scoping review utilized databases like Google Scholar, PubMed, and Science Direct, focusing on studies published between 2019 and 2024. The keywords used for this scoping review were: (Hospital Brand OR Hospital Image OR Hospital Reputation OR Hospital Identity OR Hospital Branding Identity OR Hospital Branding) AND (Patient Satisfaction OR Satisfied Patient OR Healthcare Satisfaction OR Patient Experience OR Hospital OR Healthcare Service Evaluation OR Patient Perception of Care OR Patient Perception of Service) AND (Patient Loyalty OR Patient Retention OR Patient Adherence OR Patient Commitment OR Hospital Loyalty OR Healthcare Consumer Retention OR Healthcare Consumer Loyalty). Results: After screening 367 records, 101 studies were assessed for eligibility, and 12 met the inclusion criteria. Results consistently highlight the direct and indirect impact of hospital reputation on patient satisfaction and loyalty. Conclusion: Patient satisfaction played a major role in forming patient loyalty. Healthcare providers should be more aware of developing services through medical equipment and medical personnel recruitment, which may lead to the improvement of patient experiences and create satisfaction and loyalty. Future research needs to investigate complex correlations that may form patient loyalty in a hospital setting including socio-economic aspects, perceived value, and service quality
