A Study of International Exchange in the With COVID-19 : With a Focus on Efforts of Foreign Language College of Inner Mongolia University
Get PDFIn this paper, I would like to consider various issues related to international exchange and the
acceptance and dispatch of international students in the With COVID-19 era by investigating the system
for international exchange and the acceptance of international students at Inner Mongolia University,
an overseas partner university, as well as the actual situation of dispatching students to Japan, and in
particular by considering the efforts of the Japanese Language Department of the School of Foreign
Languages at Inner Mongolia University.
Since its establishment in 1957, Inner Mongolia University has attached importance to international
exchanges and established exchange and cooperation relations with 106 colleges and universities and
scientific research institutions abroad. The Department of Japanese has maintained stable international
exchange and cooperation relations with many colleges and universities and scientific research
institutions in Japan, actively promoted the exchanges of teachers and students, and cultivated a large
number of international language talents with international vision. In the future, the Department of
Japanese plans to further promote international exchanges and cooperation by expanding the sending
mode of international students, sending more students with double bachelor’ degrees to study in Japan,
opening online courses and developing distance teaching mode with agreed schools to respond to the

Proposal of the Regional Revitalization for Activating Kurosaki Shopping Cente
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to propose an effective method for revitalizing city center. The target
area of this study was the Kurosaki shopping district in Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu, which prospered as
a post town on the Nagasaki Highway connecting Buzen Kokura and Nagasaki, and developed as one of
Japan’s four major industrial areas. As a research method, our study conducted a questionnaire survey
in June 2019, with 166 pedestrians around the Kurosaki Shopping Street and Kurosaki Station areas. The
survey results were aggregated into three groups according to generational age : those in their 10s and
20s, those in their 30s and 40s, and those in their 50s and above. The χ2 test was then performed.
A residual analysis revealed that a significantly higher number of those in their 10s and 20s made
use of social networking services (SNS) , however, they showed the lowest recognition of Kurosaki
culture when, compared to other generations. A significantly lower number of those in the 50s and
above group made use of SNS, while, on the other hand, they showed the highest recognition of
Kurosaki culture. In conclusion, the top priority of regional revitalization is to raise awareness of the
unique history and traditions in the region and to improve familiarity with the region.departmental bulletin pape
Relationship between swimming start performance and jump performance
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to clarify the relationship between swimming kick start performance
and jump performance.The subjects were 11 university male swimmers who started kicking on a daily
basis. The start performance was measured by crawl swimming for 15 m. For the evaluation of the start
performance, the operation from the start platform to the entry of water was recorded using a digital
video camera. The calculation items were block time, kicking speed, and entry distance.The jump
performance was evaluated by measuring squat jumps, vertical jumps, and vertical jumps. A linear
position transducer was used to measure squat jump power and vertical jump. The squat jump was
performed with a load of 30 kg （weights of 5 kg each on the left and right on a 20 kg shaft） without
using arm swing or leg recoil. The vertical jump was measured 5 times by the counter movement jump
using the recoil of the leg, and the average power, peak power, average velocity, and peak velocity were
calculated. The measurement of the long jump jumped forward with recoil.
As a result, a significant negative correlation was found between the 10m time and the SQJ average
power, SQJ peak power, CMJ average power, CMJ peak power, SLJ. A significant negative correlation
was found between the 15m time and SQJ peak power, CMJ average power, CMJ peak power, SLJ. In
addition, a significant positive correlation was found between kicking speed and the SQJ average power/
body weight , SQJ average speed. A significant positive correlation was found between the entry distance
and SQJ peak power ,SQJ peak velocity.
From the above results, it was clarified that SQJ power contributes to kick start performance of
swimming. When university male swimmer conducts SQJ training, not only peak power value and
average power value but also the power value according to the weight of the athlete himself is important.
In addition, in order to increase the power value, it is effective to carry out training while being aware

An Reexamination of Nizyounomiya in "Sakuzennzikuyou" of Makuranosousi
Get PDFThe section entitled “Sakuzennzi” in Makuranosousi describes the prosperity of Tyuukannpaku’
s family. Tyuuguu returned from the royal palace to Nizyounomiya on February 21, the fifth year of
syouryaku, when the Buddhist service was held at Jisonji Temple. Nizyounomiya is the actual residence
of Mititaka at the season of buddhist activities at the Jisonji Temple, as documented in journals such as
Nihonnkiryaku and Syouyuuki. The location of the Nizyounomiya can be roughly inferred from these
resources. However, the annotated version of Makuranosousi follows the propositions by Tuoda Humie,
Hagitaniboku and Masudasigeo that Tyuuguu is equal to 二条北宫. Investigations indicate Isida Zyouzi's
claim needs further discussion although it is not widely accepted. This paper reexamines the location
of Nizyounomiya and that of the Yisyuu Mansion, mentioned in the papers by Masuda and Tunoda, and

Does the physique and physical fitness of college baseball players affect pitching, hitting and base-running performance?
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of physique and physical fitness on pitching,
hitting, and base-running performance in college baseball players. Ninety-three male college baseball
players （29 pitchers and 64 fielders） participated in this study. In morphological measurement, height,
weight, lean body mass, and fat mass were measured. In the physical fitness test, grip strength, 50m
and 30m dash time, and long throw distance were measured. Baseball performance indicators were ball
speed, ball spin rate, bat swing speed, and base-running time. The independent variables of the multiple
regression equation were the long throw distance at ball speed, the 30m dash time at ball spin rate, the
long throw distance and height at bat swing speed, and the long throw distance and 50m dash time at
the base running. These results suggest that running ability and throwing ability affects the performance
of baseball pitching, batting, and base running in college baseball players.departmental bulletin pape

Relationship between batted ball velocity and physical performance in junior high school female softball players
Get PDFFor a softball batter, it is important to be able to hit the ball with high velocity in order to get a
hit in a game. The purpose of this study was to clarify the relationship between batted ball velocity
and physical performance in junior high school female softball players. Batted ball velocity, height,
weight, base-running time, grip strength, back strength, vertical jump height, and medicine ball throwing
distance （forward, behind, batting direction, non-batting direction） were measured for nine junior high
school female softball players. As a result, batted ball velocity was not significantly correlated with
height and weight. In the relationship between batted ball velocity and physical performance, significant
correlations were found for grip strength, base-running time, vertical jump height, and medicine ball
throwing distance （behind, non-hitting direction）. On the other hand, there were no significant
correlation between back strength and medicine ball throwing （forward, hitting direction）. The results
of this study would suggest that batted ball velocity is related to the power and linkage of the lower

A study on experiences of creating a miniature garden and playing a role as an observer in the “psychology practice” class
Get PDFAlthough the significance of education through practices and drills has been gaining recognition
over and above accumulating knowledge in undergraduate education for training licensed psychologists,
very few studies concerning its effectiveness have been conducted. In this study, we examined
psychological experiences and internal movements of the “psychology practice” class students through
their experiences of creating an individual miniature garden and role-playing activity as observers. In
the beginning of the production process, buildings were the student’s most common choice among other
subjects of miniature gardens. As to internal movements, students were creating with their intuition
and “tentatively trying” in the initial phase, then “broadened their images” in the middle phase, then
came to “pondering and wondering” in the final phase of the creating process. While many students of
the role of observer paid attention to “individuality” and “expression” of creators, that were observer’s
clients, we found some of them have realized the difficulty of assisting the clients by observing as a
psychological aid giver, and that enabled us to study the observer’s specific psychological experience
process. The study suggests an agenda for organizing future class subjects by showing that the time limit
of the miniature garden creation has an effect on the experience process.departmental bulletin pape
