Get PDFThe establishment of the Zenrin Association can be viewed as a time when the government
was trying to coordinate its aggression policies toward China in the political, military, economic,
and cultural spheres while securing the vested interests and security of "Manchukuo. The political
emphasis on the "anti-communist" strategy against the Soviet Union, the military implementation of
"Inner Mongolia operations" by the Kwantung Army, the economic proposal of the "Japan-Manchukuo
Economic Community," and the further systematization of the "cultural work against China" policy were
the overall characteristics of Japan's policy toward China during this period. Japan's interest was not
limited to Eastern Inner Mongolia, but the entire Mongolian region, including Western Inner Mongolia,
began to be subject to the formulation and implementation of its expansionist policies. Accompanying
the Kwantung Army's military operations, cultural and educational infiltration and expansion became
an urgent strategic tool for Japan. With the importance of cultural and educational activities once
again emphasized by the Kwantung Army's policies related to "Inner Mongolia operations," the Zenrin
Association finally appeared on the historical stage and began to play a role in cultural penetration.

ポジショニングがある反面，コーチや監督の価値観，身体的特徴，運動能力の差などから必ずしも「望ましいポジ
ショニング」が一意に決まらない場合もある．そこで，本研究はポジション間のハーフコート・ディフェンスのポ
ジショニングに対する戦術的な考え方の差違について類似した判断傾向を因子として抽出し，その因子の性差，ポ
ジション，指導者と選手との関連について検討した．結果，当初の因子分析では固有値1以上の因子は5因子得られ
たが，第5因子は有意な因子負荷量を持つ項目が1つであったため，4因子による解を求め，バリマックス基準によ
る直交回転を行った．結果，第1因子には「ディナイポジションに関する状況ミス」因子と解釈した．同様に，第2
因子は「オンボールスクリーンに関するポジショニングに関する状況ミス」因子，第3因子は「ヘルプポジション

more, but the fifth factor had only one item with a significant factor loading, so a four-factor solution
was obtained and an orthogonal rotation was performed using the Varimax criterion. As a result, the first
factor was interpreted as a "situational error regarding denial of position" factor. Similarly, the second
factor was interpreted as "situational error regarding positioning for on-ball screen", and the third factors

On the Movement of Clefted Constituents in English It-Cleft Constructions
Get PDFThis paper explores the syntactic structure of English It -Cleft constructions and elucidates a
potential problem related to clefted constituents with the combination of the recent cartographic
approach and the labeling algorithm. Assuming the Criterial Freezing postulated by Rizzi (2006), the fact
that the clefted constituents of It -Cleft constructions can be further extracted from the clefted position
presents a potential problem to the conventional cartographic approach. In this paper, it is argued that
this problem can be resolved under the concept of Maximality put forward by Rizzi (2015) and Chomsky’s
(2013, 2015) labeling algorithm. In particular, the timing of the application of the labeling algorithm is
crucial for solving this problem; the labeling algorithm should be applied at the phase level. Due to this,
the clefted constituents can be further extracted in accordance with the concept of Maximality. For the
syntactic structure of It -Cleft constructions, this paper will argue that the cleft clause is adjoined to the
PredP in the copular sentence, and the (null) operator movement occurs within the cleft clause. This
structure is similar to that of Parasitic Gap constructions, so this paper will illustrate a common property

Clarifying the Current Status and Issues of Furusato Nozei in Kyushu Okinawa Prefectures from the Data Analysis
Get PDF“Furusato Nozei", also known as "Hometown Tax Payment" is a system that allows tax-paying
residents in Japan to redirect their tax payments to local governments in exchange for gifts. Of course,
like pure donations, contributors can ask for nothing back, but almost all the taxpayers are in expection
of some return presents. As they have to pay tax anyway, the system of Furusato Nozei is a valuable
opportunity for free stuff.
The system was designed in 2008 to support local governments that suffered from people moving
away by giving them donations in exchange for gifts of their local produce.
As above, the Furusato Nozei Program is originally a tax scheme that exempts taxpayers from
income and resident tax if they make donations to a municipality outside of Tokyo Metropolitan Area
that they wish to support. The goal is for donors to support local governments while receiving gifts for
their tax money they donate.
The program was rolled out to support and revive rural communities that suffer from dwindling
populations. It means, pay the same amount of tax, but to a different part of Japan, and get free gifts in
return.
Furusato Nozei lets the taxpayers save on tax while supporting local communities. It was originally
designed with those in mind that left the countryside for Tokyo, giving an opportunity to support their
hometowns. However, that is merely a suggestion. Or many choose not to support the town or prefecture
they grew up in, but rather the ones that offer the best gifts. Even those that are born and raised in
Tokyo can participate. The taxpayers can get lots of gifts! Offerings range from local produce that can
be as fancy as king crabs or high-end sake, or quite simple like a crate of apples or a bag of rice. In
Miyakonojyo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, a city known for Wagyu beef and Japanese shochu, these local
produces are the most popular gifts on the list of goodies taxpayers can get in exchange for their tax
donation. Thanks to Wagyu beef and Japanese shochu, Miyakonojyo City has obtained more than 10
billion yen since 2019 fiscal year.
This thesis is intended only to clarify the Current Status and Issues of Furusato Nozei in Kyushu
Okinawa Prefectures from the Data Analysis. As you know, in Kyushu Okinawa Area, including abovementioned
Miyakonojyo City, many local governments had acquired large amounts of donations. Of
