Zenrin Association’s Japanese Education for Mongolian Students in Japan
The Japanese language education carried out in Japan in the western region of Inner Mongolia can
be divided into two stages: the early period (the period of cultural activities of the Zenrin Association)
and the later period (the period of the Mengjiang administration). Among them, the Japanese language
education of the Zenrin Association can be divided into two parts: Japanese language education for
Mongolian students in Japan and Japanese language education in the western Inner Mongolia region.
The Zenrin Association was a cultural group that emerged from the guidance of the continental policy
and the Manchu-Mongolian policy since the Meiji period in Japan, with the aim of adapting to the
urgent needs of Soviet strategy at that time and to cultivate cultural softness for the Mongols. This
article examines the Japanese language education of Mongolian students in Japan, and believes that
this inspection can restore the situation of Japanese language education at that time and deepen our
understanding of the nature and specific content of the cultural activities of the Zenrin Association in
the western Inner Mongolia region.departmental bulletin pape
How to Introduce Heat Capacity without Learning Partial Differentials (Part 2)
When deriving the temperature dependence of the enthalpy change (∂H /∂T )P , the temperature
dependence of the internal energy (under constant pressure) (∂U /∂T )P is obtained. Compared with the
expression for temperature dependence of internal energy (under constant volume) (∂U /∂T )V , both
derivatives are equal for a monatomic molecular ideal gas. In this paper, two simple methods are
presented to derive the equivalence of internal energy between constant pressure and constant volume.departmental bulletin pape
「緊張」「緩和」のエネルギー移行に基づくL.I.Pの形成 −米中シットコム比較分析
The purpose of this study is to clarify the difference in nature between the American and Chinese
sitcoms L.I.P. In order to explain the formation of L.I.P through energy transition, the lines of the
analyzed work showed the properties of "relief to tension" and "tension to relief". Representative sitcoms
from both countries were picked up, and L.I.P was analyzed and considered using qualitative and
quantitative analysis methods. As a result, nearly 12% of L.I.Ps occurred in the representative sitcoms of
the United States and China. In terms of sub-categories, US sitcoms significantly outperformed Chinese
sitcoms in terms of "silence without topic" and "omission of the story", and Chinese sitcoms significantly
outperformed US sitcoms. The items were "sudden change in attitude", "unexpectedly serious reaction,
tragedy, violent reaction".departmental bulletin pape
Practical research on "time for comprehensive learning" for building relationships -Examination from collaborative learning in the revised course of study-
Since the revision of the Course of Study (2017), unlike the previous "time for
comprehensive study", "through cross-sectional and comprehensive study, we can better solve
problems and improve our own way of life. The content emphasizes "cultivating qualities and abilities to
think" and "collaboration learning" and "inquiry". In this paper, we take up the decline in happiness in
Japan, which is a global issue, as an issue, explore the significance of this study based on the practice
cases of primary education in "total study time", and explore the moral value of different age education.
From the expansion of The theory for connecting was clarified.
In addition, in order to build "tolerance" and "reason," we considered measures toward the essence
of self-adjustment, and suggested the ideal way of communicative action to ask the truth with the effect
of education for different ages.departmental bulletin pape
Teaching expository sentences to foster logical thinking skills Focusing on textbook units for 3 rd and 4 th-grade of elementary school
In units centered on expository sentences for 3rd and 4th -grade elementary students, the investigator
examined which methods of instruction would be most effective to foster the students’ logical thinking
skills.
During the investigation, the investigator compared and contrasted two composite units from 3rd and
4th-grade textbooks.
The investigator paid particular attention to two points: the characteristics of each teaching material
and the learning activities indicated in the textbook’s accompanying study guide.
In the unit titled “Soybeans and their many forms” , the investigator discovered that students could
more easily grasp the textbook author’s way of explaining by considering the order of each formal
paragraph in the “middle” section of the three-part text.
In the unit titled “Washi: Paper to be proud of” in the 4th-grade textbook, the investigator found that
students could more easily grasp the reasoning behind the textbook author’s claims and explanations by
understanding and summarizing logical paragraphs.
In both cases, the units were structured so that the students could make use of the textbook author’s
explanations in order to express themselves based on the content they had read.
Based on the characteristics of each teaching material and the intention of the learning activities
outlined in the textbook’s accompanying study guide, the investigator believes it is possible to foster
students’ logical thinking skills by prioritizing the teaching points in each learning unit, and through
accumulative and systematic_instruction.departmental bulletin pape
Aspects of Changes in Pulse Rate in Soccer Mini-games of Children with Intellectual Disabilities
The purpose of this study was to obtain basic data on pulse rate (PR) during soccer mini-games
and total moving distance (TMD) traveled during practice in a soccer class for children with mental
disabilities. The subjects were three children with mental disabilities. The measurements were taken
three times. All practice times were from 16:00 to 18:00. The measurement items were TMD and
PR. Preliminary experiments were conducted with healthy subjects to confirm whether the POLAR
M430 device could accurately measure PR and TMD moving distance during soccer mini-games.
The TMD during soccer practice was approximately 1.7 km to 2.4 km for the three subjects over the
three measurement days. In the three subjects, the relative values to the maximum PR (% Pulse Rate
Maximum, %PRMax) and relative to the resting PR (% Pulse Rate Reserve, %PRR) were recorded. The
minimum value was observed mainly during the first half of the game; between 0 and 1 minute, while
the maximum value was observed during the second half of the game; between 3 and 6 minutes. This
study provided basic data on pulse rate during soccer mini-games and total distance traveled during
practice. However, it remains a challenge to clarify the physiological factors that could explain the
changes in PR.departmental bulletin pape
Social Studies and Civics Education Methods Utilizing the LoiLoNote School
As the new coronavirus infection spreads from the end of the 2019 school year, various educational
activities that have never been experienced before have been tackled in order to somehow secure
education for students, such as thorough basic infection prevention, temporary school closures,
distributed school attendance, and online learning, as a response to the situation.
As a way to improve the teaching of social studies and civics education methods from the 2022
academic year, we planned classes that aimed to give students a real sense of the actual situation at
school sites while taking into account the actual conditions at school sites in the Corona Disaster. In
doing so, we placed particular emphasis on the perspective of active learning, that is, students learning
and practicing independently, rather than passively.
We report on the class practice, including a study of the advantages of using the LoiLoNote as a tool
for exchanging opinions and thinking in a face-to-face class in which sufficient consideration was given
to infection prevention measures.departmental bulletin pape
Relationship between sprint ability and ball speed in baseball pitchers
The purpose of this study was to clarify the relationship between sprinting ability and ball speed in
college baseball pitchers, and to examine the evaluation method of sprinting ability considering body
weight and lean body mass. Thirty-one college baseball pitchers participated in this study. Height,
weight, lean body mass, body fat mass, muscle mass, and skeletal muscle mass were measured, and
body fat percentage, body mass index (BMI), and skeletal muscle index (SMI) were calculated. Ball speed
was measured using Rapsodo pitching 2.0. The baseball pitcher was asked to throw 10 full pitches from
the pitcher's mound toward the catcher. Maximum ball speed was used as an index of ball speed. To
evaluate sprint ability, sprint times of 10m, 30m, 50m, 100m, 200m, and 400m were measured, and
running speed, momentum, and kinetic energy were calculated. Pearson's product-moment correlation
coefficient was calculated to investigate the relationship between the measured indices. Ball speed was
significantly correlated with body weight, BMI, lean body mass, muscle mass, and SMI. In addition,
ball speed showed a significant negative correlation with running speed in 200m and 400m sprints,
and showed a significant positive correlation with momentum and kinetic energy in 10m, 30m, 50m,
and 100m sprints. The results of this study suggest the importance of considering body weight when
evaluating the sprinting ability of baseball pitchers.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on Language Support for Chinese Patients in Medical Services
With the impact of globalization, the number of registered foreigners in Japan has been increasing,
leading to a rise in the demand for healthcare services among foreign residents. Consequently, effective
communication in healthcare settings has become a crucial challenge. In particular, the language barrier
in dealing with Chinese patients has raised concerns about the potential risks of miscommunication and
inaccuracies in medical staff's language use.
This paper provides an overview of the current situation regarding foreign residents and medical
interpreters, focusing on the language support for Chinese patients. Drawing on experiences shared by
medical interpreters, the study examines the issues and effectiveness of language support for Chinese
patients in healthcare settings. It discusses the challenges and proposes solutions to improve language
support for Chinese patients.departmental bulletin pape
