    野球の打撃記録に関する解析は様々な手法が用いられている.しかしながら,打撃結果は野選やエラーなどの守 備の状況に影響される.また,走者の有無や走者の配置なども打撃結果に影響する.本論文では,積算個人記録の 中から確実に「打者個人の技量に依存する記録」に基づいた解析方法を新たに提案する.その手法は「安打,三振, 四球,死球の数」を土台とした解析手法である.安打,三振,四死球の総和から,各項目の比率を算出した.三つ の比率の関係を三角グラフで描画することで打者個人の打撃に関する特徴を指し示した.departmental bulletin pape

    Analysis of class satisfaction based on class evaluation data

    本研究は,2023年度の前期に筆者が担当した科目の授業評価アンケートに基づいて,探索的因子分析と共分散構 造分析を実行し,授業評価モデルを構築した.その結果,教員の工夫 f1 ,コミュニケーション資質 f2 ,学習意欲 f3 ,授業理解力 f4 という4つの潜在変数が抽出され,それらが授業満足度 x15 に及ぼす影響を見出した.また,そ れらの潜在変数が授業満足度 x15 に及ぼす総合効果(直接効果と間接効果)を明らかにした.なお,教員の工夫 f1 による総合効果が最も大きくなることなどを示した.In this research, we conducted exploratory factor analysis and covariance structure analysis and constructed a class evaluation model based on the class evaluation data for the course that the author taught in the first semester of the academic year 2023. As a result, we extracted four latent variables: teacher ingenuity f1 , communication quality f2 , learning motivation f3 , and class comprehension ability f4 . Additionally, we clarified the total effect (direct effect and indirect effect) of these latent variables on class satisfaction x15 .     In 2019, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology proposed the GIGA School Initiative, a plan to provide one learner computer and high-speed communication network for each pupil nationwide. This was an effort to emphasize the importance of the ability of students to use ICT and to reduce the gap in ICT environments in schools. Next, in 2021, the plan set forth a policy to achieve "Japanese-style school education in 2021," emphasizing "individualized optimal learning" and "collaborative learning. In the case of "individualized learning," it is necessary to provide guidance according to the characteristics and progress of each student, and it is important to use ICT to grasp the learning status and self-regulate it. In collaborative learning, group activities and presentations are promoted using one terminal per student to facilitate learning from different perspectives. With the goal of enhancing students' skills to proactively and actively utilize tablet terminals and other devices in class, and to use them as tools to improve students' own thinking, judgment, and expression skills, we report on a class practice using LoiLoNote in the "Social Studies and Geography and History Education Methods" course offered in the first semester of FY2023.     In April 2017, Wakayama City considered the introduction of sightseeing boats as a means of enabling tourists from Japan and abroad to experience the charms of Wakanoura from the sea, following the recognition of "Wakanoura, a treasure house of superb scenery" as a Japan Heritage site. In response to a survey commissioned by Wakayama City, the author conducted a needs assessment of sightseeing boats, interviewed related businesses in Wakayama City regarding the possibility of participating in the project, and proposed an operation plan based on the results of the survey.     Dropout Prediction Modeling from attendance rate Using Machine Learning

    18歳人口の減少が影響を及ぼし,大学への進学者数が減少すると予測されている.そのため,私立大学間の学生 確保競争が激化し,大学法人の経営は今後一層の困難が予想される.さらに,中途退学の低下を通じて,中途退学 の予防に取り組むことは,授業料収入の減少を防ぐだけでなく,受験生に対しても魅力的な大学としてのイメージ を向上させる助けとなることが期待される.そこで,本研究では,機械学習の手法の1つであるランダムフォレス ト(Extra Trees Classifier)を用いて,15週間分の出席率情報から中途退学者の予測モデルの構築を試みた.結果, 約90%という高い精度で予測をすることに成功した.さらに,5週間分の出席率情報のみを用いた場合は,予測精 度が約80%であることが明らかになった。これらの成果は,今後の大学運営方針の策定や学生支援体制の強化に向 けて,有益な示唆を提供するものと期待される.departmental bulletin pape

    Understanding the actual situation of injury using a survey system in university student players

    Due to the lack of operation of a injury survey system and the lack of standardization of survey methods, the full picture of injury among university student players has not been clarified. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to establish a injury survey system and to understand the actual status of injury among university student-athletes. The survey of injury covered men's rugby, men's soccer, swimming, men's volleyball, gymnastics, hardball, men's basketball, and wrestling. The results showed that injury occurred more frequently among university student players in rugby and wrestling. In addition, time-loss injury occurred more frequently among university student players, and injury occurred more frequently in the ankle joint, knee joint, thigh, hip, shoulder joint, and foot/toe. In terms of the severity of injury, there was a high incidence of injury in the "8-28 days off" and "29 or more days off" categories, with moderate to severe injury occurring more frequently.departmental bulletin pape

    We have been conducting a survey of injury in each athletic department since February 2021 as part of the education for student trainers, and in April 2022, the guidelines for the survey were issued by the academic society, making it necessary to revise the record sheets used for the survey. Therefore, we have decided to report on our efforts to create a new record keeping chart for the education of student trainers. In the new chart, the students were able to complete the chart in accordance with the guidelines by creating the items to be selected for activity status (e.g., type of practice in each athletic department) and play (athletic movements and situations). The students' consideration of activity situations and play items could lead to learning about the characteristics of athletic events. In addition, by providing items of play, the actual conditions of injury may be grasped in detail. When students make judgments and record them, it is thought that providing items (e.g., SOAP column) that allow confirmation of what the students have evaluated will lead to education for student trainers.departmental bulletin pape

    理工系大学初年次の化学では量子化学の基礎を学ぶ.学習内容の一つに混成軌道がある.混成軌道を学ぶとき, 合成波動関数の式とイラストを併記して説明がなされるが,その合成波動関数が図示された形になるということを 暗記するだけになるケースが少なくない.また軌道の形を定める球面調和関数などの数学的な土台ができていない ことも理解を深めにくい一因になっている.本研究では,球面調和関数を用いたコンピュータグラフィックスによ る直感的な理解を目的として,Gnuplotを用いた混成軌道の形を示すサンプルスクリプトおよびその描画結果の紹 介をする.Quantum chemistry involves various formulas of advanced mathematics. It is important to understand the characteristic graph shapes drawn by these formulas. The shapes of atomic orbitals are visualized based on spherical harmonic functions. There are many examples of graph display using spherical harmonic functions. However, there are few examples that show the procedure for drawing the shapes of hybrid orbitals. Hybrid orbitals are displayed as the sum of atomic orbital functions. This paper shows the drawing the shapes of hybrid orbitals from composed wave functions using Gnuplot.
