Komunikasi Publik Humas Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa dalam Meningkatkan Citra Positif
Public relations is an important part of an institution or institution. The existence of public relations in an institution as part of the task of managing public service information and communication, even in the current digital era, is a major factor in terms of public communication services. Then in educational institutions today, public relations is also the main actor in terms of delivering information and communication to bridge external and internal publics in establishing interactions. Public relations of educational institutions also currently play a role in maintaining and improving the positive image of the institution. So this study aims to look at the practices and activities of public relations at Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa (UTS) in maintaining and improving the positive image of educational institutions. This research uses the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) by looking at the paths used in the message delivery process. The qualitative method is the research approach used by conducting direct observations and interviews so that researchers can directly observe and explore public relations activities. The results of this study revealed that UTS public relations successfully managed the use of information media in providing public communication services. UTS PR uses several stages in the process of conducting public communication services, such as initial research, planning, coordination, and evaluation. UTS public relations are also able to manage information on social media platforms, which are actively used as a medium for distributing information that is well packaged and interesting, so that the activities carried out by UTS public relations are able to improve a positive image for institutions, especially Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa
Integrasi Musik digital dan Artificial Intelligence: Analisis Interaksi Simbolik Pada Proyek Musik AIAIQ
This research explores the application of symbolic interaction theory in collaboration between producers and musicians in the digital music production process, with a focus on the AIAIQ project, which integrates artificial intelligence (AI). This research examines how AI influences symbolic interactions in the music production process, especially in interpreting musical emotions and communication dynamics. This research resulted from an empirical study using a qualitative approach; this approach was used to gain an in-depth understanding of symbolic interactionism. Data sources were obtained from observations and interviews. The results of this research show that although artificial intelligence (AI) can improve technical efficiency, it can also change the dynamics of traditional social and non-verbal communication that are important for creative collaboration. By analyzing the role of human experience in interpreting AI-generated music and changes in interaction patterns, this research highlights the limitations and challenges faced by AI in maintaining the depth of human interaction in the creative process
Menelusuri Penggunaan Media Sosial Mahasiswa Generasi Z di Takengon: Dampak pada Komunikasi dan Sosial
Generation Z students in Takengon City are a generation of active social media users who are more susceptible to addiction than members of other gayo community groups. Social media which provides various conveniences and enjoyable effects for students can cause a tendency and dependence in carrying out daily activities. This research aims to analyze the habits of Generation Z students in choosing social media in Takengon City, as well as the media habits of Generation Z students in using social media in Takengon City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method through a case study approach on six Generation Z students who are highly dependent on social media. Data analysis is carried out by describing or illustrating the data that has been collected as it is without the intention of making generally applicable conclusions. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observation, interviews and documentation which were analyzed descriptively using triangulation techniques. The results of this research show that Generation Z students tend to choose social media platforms that are trendy and popular among teenagers and prefer soft news that is related to their popularity. Generation Z students in Takengon City always provide a special schedule for accessing social media ranging from 3 to 6 hours per day. Generation Z students who actively use social media will be more popular than other students. The presence of social media makes it easier for students to socialize and communicate and build relationships, both from Takengon City and with all students from all universities in Indonesi
Habituation of Religious Literacy as an Effort to Cultivate Moderation Values towards Students at SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung
Education makes intelligent individuals independent in their environment. Therefore, it is interesting to study the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in familiarizing religious literacy that contains moderation values. The purpose of this study is to analyze the various efforts made by Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling religious moderation values in students at SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. the method that researchers use is the qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study reveal that PAI teachers at SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung have implemented religious literacy habituation through the stages of Qudwah, Uswah, Ta'lim, and Ta'wid. There are inhibiting factors and supporting factors in the habituation of religious literacy, both internal factors such as student personality, as well as external factors from family and peers
Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Wayang Kertas terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Kelas II
This research was motivated by students' lack of understanding of Indonesian language lessons, especially regarding the material on expressions of requests for help and forgiveness. This type of quantitative research design is One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Data was obtained using normality, homogeneity, hypothesis and N-Gain tests. From the results of research using the teacher observation sheet, the score was 92% in the very good category and the student activity observation sheet was 80% in the good category. There is an influence of paper puppet learning media on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. In the N-Gain test, a value of 0.58 was obtained, meaning that the average increase in the pretest and posttest index was included in the medium category
Examining the Bureaucracy of Halal Product Certification in Indonesia
Due to the numerous instances of violations committed by Companion for Halal Products (PPH), this research was initiated. Therefore, this research aims to find out the role of PPH in the Kalimantan zone in the halal certification self-declare scheme. This study is categorized as empirical research employing a qualitative methodology. The methodology used for data collection consists of observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data sources, including interviews with LP3H administrators, PPH, and business actors, were utilized. Meanwhile, secondary data sources include references and literature related to the research theme. From the research, it is known that in carrying out their role, PPH has a mechanism for assisting in the halal product process. In terms of field verification, it can be said that the role of PPH in the Kalimantan zone is not 100% in accordance with procedures. Multiple factors contribute to this, such as non-comprehensive understanding, low legal awareness, small survey costs, and the pressure to fulfill and accelerate Sehati quota targets imposed by Halal Product Guarantee Administering Agency (BPJPH)
Sharia as a New Culture System of Identity in the Post-Conflict Aceh, Indonesia
The research on Aceh in various fields has been conducted by many scholars so far. What is felt less of concern in academic studies is on current period of post-conflict Aceh after peace process between Free Aceh Movement and Indonesian Army since 2005. This article would like to discuss about contemporary situation, especially in the post-conflict Aceh, on what has been shifted dealing with socio-cultural in Acehnese society. However, it has been a big change and shifting within society in Aceh, particularly after sharia religious law stipulated as the main legal formal that is objected as social engineering. Why sharia is important to be studied here could be not separated from Aceh's long history and its deep role of Islamization process to South East Asia. Beside it is used as an identity, sharia currently in Aceh has also chosen as the new culture system and as the way out of prolonged armed conflict in Aceh that has taken place for more than three decades (1976-2005). By using theory religion as a culture system, this article would like to discuss and analyze about how does sharia now in Aceh become a new culture system of identity that broadly changed Aceh and its society, not only in socio-cultural, but also any other dimensions of life in contemporary time. The findings show that sharia religious law which has been institutionalized and stipulated as the main legal formal is more being objected as social engineering projects for future oriented social transformation and being a new culture system of identity
Islam, Adat, and State: Examining the Phenomenon of Child Custody After Divorce in Padang Lawas Regency
This research is motivated by the phenomenon of childcare by fathers after divorce in Padang Lawas County. This phenomenon raises the interest of researchers to further examine child custody by fathers after divorce. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach. Researchers collected primary data through interviews with traditional leaders and fathers caring for their children after divorce. The data obtained was then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, which involved collecting data through interviews and documentation and systematic data processing to describe and interpret existing phenomena. The results show that although customs in Padang Lawas County give custody to the father, it is essential to consider the provisions of the compilation of Islamic law and the broader principles of Islamic law. Child custody should focus on the best interests of the child, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental development. Both parents have equal rights unless there are compelling reasons to the contrary, and they must work together to maintain the child's stability. Children have the right to adequate education and healthcare, as well as to maintain a good relationship with both parents, even if only one has primary custody
Local Traditions as Guardians of Malay Identity among Pattani Muslims in Thailand
Pattani as a region in southern Thailand is often plagued by conflict. This conflict can be traced back to the Anglo-Siamese treaty of 1909 which declared Pattani incorporated into Thailand. Since then, until now, the Pattani community, which is predominantly Muslim, has been at odds with the Thai government. The Muslim community living in Pattani has a different culture from the majority Thai-Buddhist community. The purpose of this paper is to write down the cultures of Pattani Muslims as a form of maintaining identity amidst the pressure of the Thai government. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques by literature study, reviewing reading sources related to the theme, conducting interviews with 8 Muslims of Thai nationality, and watching YouTube channels that match the theme. The result is that the Pattani Muslim community maintains its traditions during a feud with the Thai government by continuing to use the Malay language, the Islamic education system, Islamic law still applies, marriage dowries, making pitue gates, doing rayo 6, serving special foods such as Ashura porridge. kerabu rice and ketupat, and wearing baju kurung as a symbol of identity. The research contribution is expected to provide insight into the Pattani Muslim community as a minority that maintains traditions as a sign of their identity under the pressure of the Thai government
Implementasi Pembelajaran Bina Pribadi Islami (BPI) pada Peserta Didik dalam Membangun Karakater Religius
This study aims to determine how the Implementation of Bina Pribadi Islami (BPI) building religious character of Students at SDIT Asiddiiqi Jambi City. Using a qualitative approach with field research methods. The research subjects involved classes IV and VI totaling 55 students, the Principal, class teachers and parents of students. Using research instruments interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study explain that the BPI Learning process with the concept of habituation, as well as the importance of the teacher's spirit in the world of education can build students' religious character. There is good cooperation between student parents and the school. The presence of periodic debriefing for teachers, special parenting seminars for parents, and efforts to establish good communication and cooperation between teachers and parents, namely by forming a grub via WhatsApp as a forum for discussion / sharing
