Identity Commodification as a Strategy for Acehnese Culinary Business Development: A Comparative Analysis of Indonesia and Egypt
Ideally, identity commodification can be an effective strategy in the development of the culinary business by utilizing local cultural and religious values as an attraction for consumers. However, in reality, significant challenges arise in the implementation of this strategy, especially related to cultural diversity and the dynamics of the global market. This study aims to analyze the application of identity commodification in the development of Acehnese culinary businesses, and compare it with the approach applied in Egypt. This article is a field study using a qualitative approach. The methodology employed includes descriptive analysis and comparative study. The research findings show that Aceh has successfully utilized its local identity, which is deeply rooted in Islamic culture, as an appealing culinary business strategy, with a strong halal guarantee even without official halal certification. A comparison with Egypt shows that, although both leverage cultural and religious identity, Aceh emphasizes the diversity of local cultures combined with religious values, while Egypt focuses more on preserving the authentic Arab-Islamic culinary traditions and history
Criminal Act of Femicide in the Perspective of Human Rights: An Analysis of Law Enforcement in Indonesia
This study aims to analyze the enforcement of law against femicide in the context of human rights (HR) in Indonesia. The main focus of this research is to identify the obstacles faced by law enforcement officers in handling femicide cases and to assess the extent to which legal protection for femicide victims aligns with human rights principles in Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design, collecting data through literature studies, interviews with legal practitioners, human rights activists, and an analysis of relevant legal documents. The findings indicate that the enforcement of law against femicide in Indonesia faces various challenges, such as a lack of understanding of femicide among law enforcement, the dominance of a patriarchal culture, and weak reporting and handling mechanisms for gender-based violence cases. Legal protection for femicide victims remains ineffective, despite the existence of regulations aimed at safeguarding women's rights. This research recommends the need for enhanced legal awareness, training for law enforcement, and stronger law enforcement measures to provide better protection for femicide victims in Indonesia

THE CONCEPT OF WOMEN'S ATTIRE IN THE LEARN QUR'AN TAFSIR APPLICATION: AN EPISTEMOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF INTERPRETATION
The rapid development of technology has led to the emergence of digital Qur'an and Tafsir applications. This study focuses on the Learn Qur'an Tafsir application, chosen for its features that explore various themes supported by references to Qur'anic verses and their interpretations. The research specifically examines the topic of women's attire, a subject that remains a prominent and evolving discussion. The dynamic growth of the fashion industry has influenced the styles of Muslim women's attire, addressing issues such as dressing styles, the boundaries of aurat, and the selection of materials and colors. This study aims to uncover how women's issues are represented on a Tafsir platform, focusing on the Learn Qur'an Tafsir application. Using an epistemological framework of Tafsir and a descriptive-analytical approach, the study investigates the depiction of women's attire within this application. The findings indicate that the topic of women's attire in the Learn Qur'an Tafsir application is categorized into several specific subtopics, including Women Lengthen Their Clothes, Tabarruj, Hijab, Covering Women's Faces, Waiver of Hijab Against Parents, Jewelry, and Women's attire. Each subtopic is analyzed by referencing related Qur'anic verses, word translations, verse translations, and interpretations from credible Tafsir sources such as the Qur'an, the translation by the Ministry of Religion, and other reputable Tafsir texts. A thematic method is employed to organize the analysis. The study finds coherence and pragmatic validity in the interpretations but identifies a lack of correspondence truth in the application
EXPLORING THE CONCEPT OF QASHASH IN T.M. HASBI ASH-SHIDDIEQY'S TAFSIR AL-QUR'ANUL MAJID AN-NUUR: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS
The concept of Qashash, which refers to the principle of equal retribution in Islamic law, plays a crucial role in upholding justice and fairness within society. T.M. Clash of Champions Pada Ruangguru: Mendefinisikan Ulang Makna Prestasi Melalui Analisis Wacana Norman Fairclough
This study discusses how the shifting meaning of achievement and the process of commodification is represented in the game show Clash of Champions organized by the technology-based education platform Ruangguru. Using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis, this research explores the relationship between discursive, social, and textual practices within the show. The findings indicate that the competition positions achievement as a commodity aligned with global market needs, utilizing the accomplishments of finalist figures, such as Shakira and Axel, as marketing tools, in line with Mosco's framework of commodification. Critical discourse analysis also reveals that the meaning of achievement has shifted from being seen as the result of individual hard work to being perceived as excellence in specific fields, such as logic and mathematics, which hold market value. Moreover, the figure of runner-up Axel Giofanny reinforces the narrative that achievement is framed as success in obtaining scholarships and continuing education at prestigious universities abroad. This study contributes to understanding how technology-based education platforms reshape social values through the construction of competition and achievement discourse while reflecting the power of social structures in reproducing the ideology of global capitalism
Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa melalui Pendekatan PMRI pada Konteks Alat Musik Angklung
This research aims to describe students' mathematical communication skills through PMRI approach. This research method used descriptive qualitative by involving 9 students in Palembang city as research subjects. Data collection techniques used tests and interviews with descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this research showed that students who scored high in mathematical communication ability could write answers according to the indicators correctly and completely. In students who obtained a medium score, the student solved the problem according to the indicator but less precise and incomplete. While students who obtained a low score, these students have not been able to answer questions based on indicators of mathematical communication skills correctly and there are still many errors in solving the problems given. For future researchers to see students' mathematical communication skills can use other contextual problems. After analyzing the students' answers, the average result of students' answers is 72.23% which is categorized as moderate
Eksplorasi Pola Berpikir Kreatif Siswa dalam Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Berbasis Computational Thinking
The abstract should describe clearly the content of paper, and should provide a brief introduction to the problem, objective of paper, followed by a statement regarding the methodology and a brief summary of results. Abstracts are written in a single paragraph, 10pt Book Antiqua, no more than 200 words. This study aims to explore students' creative thinking patterns in solving mathematics problems based on Computational Thinking (CT). CT is a thinking approach that involves decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking, enabling students to solve problems systematically and efficiently. This research employs an exploratory qualitative method with purposive sampling of five twelfth-grade students at SMK Samudera Indonesia. Data were collected through problem-solving tests, observations, interviews, and worksheet analysis. The findings indicate that students with a high level of creative thinking can effectively apply CT concepts, particularly in decomposition and abstraction. Meanwhile, students with a moderate level of creative thinking still require examples and guidance in recognizing patterns and structuring solutions systematically. The main challenges identified include difficulties in understanding the fundamental concepts of sequences and series, reliance on formulas without deep comprehension, and a lack of confidence in trying different approaches. These findings suggest that incorporating Computational Thinking in mathematics learning can enhance students' creativity in problem-solving while also developing a more logical and systematic mindset
