Language, Culture, and Ethnography of Communication
Get PDFLanguage reflects the realities of human life activities. As social beings, humans require communication, which functions effectively when facilitated by language. Therefore, language influences human thought patterns. Polite language, a hallmark of Indonesian culture, has been passed down through generations, underscoring the close relationship between language and culture. Effective language expression is also supported by good literacy understanding. This study aims to explain language use in society through the Ethnography of Communication approach, emphasizing the importance of context in interpreting speech and its functions. Linguists have traditionally found it easy to explain sentences from grammatical and semantic perspectives but often struggle with the intention and functional use of speech. Ethnography of Communication seeks to address this gap by incorporating aspects of speech or communication, thus making linguistic components more comprehensive. The research method used was a literature study, with library materials serving as the primary data source. The findings indicate that language was structured according to patterns, not randomly, but within subsystems such as phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics. These patterns correspond to the needs and functions of each societal group. Ethnography of Communication examines the communication patterns of a community or cultural society, highlighting the role of language in the communicative behaviour of a society and how language was used within different cultures

Get PDFThis article aims to examine HR. Bukhari No. 5559 regarding saying good or being silent when looking at the phenomenon of verbal bullying at school. This research is qualitative research using library research methods. The conclusion of this article is that verbal bullying is an act that is prohibited in Islam. In the school environment, verbal bullying can have a negative impact on students, whether they are perpetrators or victims. This hadith provides direction to teachers, students and all elements in the school environment to build quality interactions to support the learning process. The word khair in the hadith of Bukhari's History No. 5559 contains good meanings that are in accordance with religious teachings and in line with societal norms. So the words delivered by teachers and students must be in line with the meaning of khair. If the words you say are not useful, silence will be the best solution to protect yourself from danger
Purification of Understanding the Term of Islam Kaffah in the Qur'an: Critique of Deviant Understanding in Indonesia
Get PDFThe term of Islam kaffah in the Qur'an is found in Surah Al-Baqarah [2]: 208. However, the term kaffah also appears in three other verses. Scholars differ in their opinions regarding the position of kaffah in that verse. Some refer to the word udkhulu and others to al-silm. Naturally, this leads to different interpretations and methods of implementation. This term is related to the issue of the caliphate, often advocated by radical groups in Indonesia. For example, Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) defines it as the implementation of Islamic Sharia law and the caliphate system as the basis of the state. Therefore, this article has two objectives: to understand the correct interpretation of Islam kaffah in the Qur'an and to identify the deviations in understanding Islam kaffah in Indonesia. The method used in this research is critical analysis. The appropriate understanding of Islam kaffah is how a Muslim lives by following Sharia commands based on the Qur'an and Sunnah in totality, while respecting and not disturbing adherents of other religions. It also involves maintaining good relationships and preserving peace and tranquility in this pluralistic society, as established by Islamic leaders and revolutionary heroes during the independence era

The differences analyzed in this research are the differences in SKL (Graduate Competency Standards), SI (Content Standards), SP (Process Standards), and Evaluation Standards in the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum.In this research, the method used is a descriptive qualitative method, namely through literature study using literature sources that are relevant and helpful for research. The results of this research show that there are several things that are similarities and differences between the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum which is proof that the change in the curriculum from the 2013 curriculum to the independent curriculum is an effort to improve the education curriculum in Indonesia, namely by bringing the good things from the 2013 curriculum and throw away irrelevant things and replace them with better things in the independent curriculum

Data sources are obtained from articles, books, websites that contain the development of the Islamic religious education curriculum organization. Data analysis used in this research is content analysis method. After analyzing the data, the results obtained are: there are four developments in the organization of Islamic education curriculum, namely separate subject curriculum, correlated curriculum, unified curriculum, and integrative thematic curriculum. However, the relevant organization for PAI in the present is the integrated thematic curriculum. Because the curriculum trains students in problem solving, hands-on learning opportunities, and provides space for students to develop their talents
Implementation of the Values of Tauhid Education in Early Childhood at the Al Ihsan Tasikmalaya Kindergarten
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of monotheism education carried out in PAUD KB Al Ihsan Tasikamlaya as a form of instilling monotheism values for early childhood. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative and the methods used to collect data in this study are observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results of this study are that in implementing the values of monotheism education, it can be done by holding the following activities: Habituation of Dhuha Prayer together, Habituation of reading Asma` Al Husna before learning, Habituation of reciting shalawat, Memorizing selected letters and Commemorating Islamic holidays. Some obstacles faced in implementing the values of monotheism education in PAUD KB Al Ihsan Tasikmalaya are two factors, namely Internal factors such as reduced student interest in learning, Different levels of student ability and Different levels of student learning diligence. External factors such as inadequate school facilities such as teaching aids that are not available at school so that teachers have a little difficulty in explaining learning materials

In the context of Islamic education, the application of a leadership style that is in accordance with Islamic values such as justice, protection, and participation can increase teacher motivation to give their best in the learning process. This study examines various leadership styles that are commonly applied such as transformational, democratic, and authoritarian leadership, and their influence on teacher intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Therefore, it is important for a leader of an Islamic educational institution to apply a leadership style that encourages teacher professional development, builds harmonious relationships and creates a positive work environment
Conflict Management Approaches in Education : A Systematic Literature Study with the PRISMA Method
Get PDFConflict in educational settings is a natural phenomenon that requires effective management to create a conducive learning climate. This research analyzes conflict management approaches in education through a systematic literature review using the PRISMA method. Data were retrieved from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish (PoP), resulting in 200 articles. After selection, the last 15 articles of the last 5 years were selected as the sample through identification, screening, and eligibility processes. Results showed conflicts arose due to differences in values, ineffective communication, unfair distribution of resources, and academic pressure. A collaborative approach involving all stakeholders (teachers, students, parents, school management) is effective in resolving conflicts constructively. Conflict has a dual impact: it can drive innovation or reduce productivity if unmanaged. A systematic process-from problem identification to solution evaluation-is key to success. Bruce Tuckman's team development model (Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing, Adjourning) emphasizes conflict as a natural stage that strengthens teamwork. In conclusion, effective conflict management not only resolves problems, but also optimizes the potential of conflict as an opportunity for the development of educational institutions. Practical recommendations include conflict resolution training, collaborative approaches, and strengthening communication between parties for a harmonious and productive learning environment
