Insights from the Qur'an regarding Destiny (Comparison of the Thoughts of Ar-Râzî and Al-Farâbî)
This study, entitled "Qur'anic Insights on Destiny (A Comparison of the Perspectives of Ar-Râzî and Al-Farâbî)," aims to explore and redefine the meaning of destiny by comparing the views of two important figures in Islamic thought.Fakhruddin Ar-Râzî, a renowned theologian and commentator, emphasized that destiny is a manifestation of God's perfect knowledge and will. For him, everything that happens has been determined by Divine wisdom that cannot be fully understood by humans. On the other hand, Al-Farâbî, a Neoplatonist philosopher, views destiny in the context of a cosmic order governed by the Active Intellect. He combines rational and metaphysical principles to explain that destiny is a natural process governed by rational laws established by God. Al-Farâbî also emphasizes the active role of humans as rational agents who have the responsibility to shape their future through understanding and applying rational principles that are in line with the Divine order. This study uses qualitative methods with text analysis to explore the main works of both thinkers. In addition to qualitative methods, thematic methods are also used in this study. The preliminary results show that, by integrating the views of Fakhruddin Ar-Râzî and Al-Farâbî, destiny can be redefined as a concept that is not only related to divine knowledge and will but also includes aspects of human rationality and responsibility in living their lives
Religious Moderation from the Perspective of KMA 450
This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious moderation based on the Regulation of the Minister of Religious Affairs (KMA) No. 450 in Indonesia, particularly in education and religious life. Buying and Selling Tickets Without Seat Numbers Through the Access By KAI Application: An Islamic Legal Perspective
Islamic law is a sharia, which is a set of rules established by Allah SWT for His followers through the Prophet Muhammad SAW.These rules encompass laws related to beliefs (aqidah) as well as those governing the behavior (amaliyah) of Muslims. In general, the scope of Islamic law is very broad, not only regulating matters of worship (ḥabl min Allāh), but also governing aspects of muamalah, which are the relationships among fellow humans (ḥabl min an-nās).Muamalah encompasses all religious provisions that regulate interactions among humans, including the relationship between humans and their lives as well as their surrounding environment.Allah SWT has decreed that every individual certainly needs others, helps each other, and exchanges needs in various aspects of life, whether through buying and selling transactions, renting, cooperation, or partnerships. In practice, buying and selling tickets through the Access by KAI app is actually similar to other ticket purchasing apps.Through this application, passengers can easily purchase tickets by entering their personal information, selecting the available payment method, and then receiving a ticket or barcode as a boarding pass issued by the application. In addition to facilitating ticket purchases and seat selection, the Access by KAI app also provides an option for tickets without seat facilities marked as "Available (Without Seat)."This means that passengers purchase tickets without a guaranteed seat number. Thus, even though the ticket prices are the same, the facilities received are different. This situation results in passengers who buy tickets without seat numbers not getting a seat.Passengers then occupy empty seats if available, but if all seats are fully occupied, they are forced to stand. It is necessary to examine the Islamic legal perspective on the ticket sales transaction without seat numbers through the Access by KAI application, whether in practice the contract used in the application has fulfilled all the pillars and conditions of sale stipulated by Islamic law
The Tradition of Profit Sharing in the Agricultural Sector from the Perspective of Maqashid Syariah
This study aims to analyze the practice of mukhabarah agreement known as "paron" or "maro" in the agricultural profit sharing system in Tambelangan Village, and to review its suitability with the perspective of maqashid sharia. The uniqueness of the practice in this village lies in the absence of time limits in the profit sharing agreement, which is normatively different from the provisions of fiqh but has become a hereditary tradition that is considered mutually beneficial by the local community. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with landowners and cultivators selected through purposive sampling, and documentation studies. Data analysis adopts the interactive model of Miles and Huberman including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings show that the practice of mukhabarah in Tambelangan Village, although not implementing formal time limits, is able to realize the five aspects of maqashid sharia: hifz al-mal through optimizing land use, hifz al-nafs by ensuring farmers' livelihoods, hifdz al-din through implementing the principle of ta'awun, hifdz al-aql through developing farming skills, and hifdz al-nasl by ensuring the sustainability of family livelihoods. This practice is a manifestation of the values of mutual cooperation and trust that are rooted in the culture of the community, creating a sustainable symbiotic relationship and bridging the normative ideals of fiqh with the socio-economic realities of the local community

Using an exploratory qualitative approach and phenomenological design, this study explores the subjective meaning given by respondents to digital social pressure and the internalization of Qur'anic values such as qana'ah, gratitude, and tawakkal as spiritual coping mechanisms. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 20 participants and analyzed using thematic analysis methods. The results showed that FoMO manifested in the form of social anxiety, pressure to appear online, to feelings of envy and inferiority due to the culture of comparison on social media. However, the values of qana'ah and gratitude have been shown to provide inner peace and reduce the tendency to compare oneself, while tawakkal strengthens psychological and spiritual resilience. Respondents also developed digital-spiritual balance strategies through limiting online time, selecting positive content, and using social media as a means of preaching. This study concludes that Islamic values can be a foundation in forming personal digital ethics and reducing the negative impacts of social media. These findings encourage the development of a digital literacy curriculum based on Islamic spirituality as a response to the challenges of identity and mental health in the digital era
