UJI EFEKTIVITAS EKSTRAK BAWANG DAYAK (Eleutherine palmifolia Merr) TERHADAP PENYEMBUHAN INFEKSI JAMUR Saprolegnia sp, PADA IKAN NILA
The purpose of this research was to know the effect Bawang Dayak(Eleutherine palmifolia Merr) in Saprolegnia sp infection of nile tilapia (Oreochromissp) with smear method. This research used Completely Randomized Desin consistedone factors with three treatments and three replicates (A: 10 ppt/ind), (B: 20 ppt/ind),and (C: control). The research using aquarium and nile tilapia (5-8 cm body length)with density of 2 ind/aquarium. Parameters observe were inhibitory test, recoverytime, survival rate, and water quality. STUDI KESESUAIAN LAHAN TAMBAK DI KAWASAN BEKAS PELABUHAN BATUBARA KECAMATAN SATUI KALIMANTAN SELATAN DENGAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS
Satui district is the largest coal producing area in South Kalimantan and it has a coastal and marine areas that quite broad. Mining activity causes a lot of impact of environmental pollution, especially water pollution. Conditions of aquaculture in Satui district is currently vulnerable to damage resulting from the former coal mining and the construction of the illegal construction of the specific port. The purpose of this study is collecting the parameters of land suitability evaluation for pond in the Satui district pond and knowing the level of suitability coastal ponds in the Satui district with GIS. The method that applied at this research are observing and analyzingthe criteria parameters of environmental quality for pond development which supported by fielddata to find the level of compliance. This study including some stages, they areimage using, field data collection and data analysis. Water quality, soil and landsuitability analysis, the paramaters study at this study are slope, the zone fisiology,soil texture and water supply. Based on GIS analysis, the area very suitable for pond around the port is 486 ha, the suitable area is 406 ha, the moderate area is 1.734 ha and unsuitable area is 1.197 ha
ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHA PENANGKAPAN IKAN LAUT MENGGUNAKAN ALAT TANGKAP GILL NET DI DESA TABANIO KECAMATAN TAKISUNG KABUPATEN TANAH LAUT
This study aims to determine the business benefits gill net fishing net of proceeds for fishing laborers and analyze their feasibility in the sea fishing using gillnet gear. The research activities conducted in the Village Tabanio, Takisung District, of Tanah Laut, a fishing village in the district of Tanah Laut where people predominantly use gill net gear. The data collected is cross section data are sourced directly from the fishing vessel owner/gill net gear, through a structured interview technique (using questionnaires). The results showed that the benefits of fishing vessel owners fishing effort bygill nets in the village Tabanio is an average of Rp.7.634.223 per trip or per month.Fishing effort by gill nets in the village Tabanio profitable and worth the effort, because the value of Rp.61.550.000 positive NPV, the net value of BCR is more thanone (1.38) and IRR over a discounted rate (27% > 14%), and the payback period isfaster than the projected five-year period (2.96 years)
DAMPAK PENGOPERASIAN ALAT PENANGKAP IKAN TERHADAP SUMBERDAYA IKAN RAWA DANAU BANGKAU
Base on qualities category, a fish production from Danau Bangkau swamp waters in some years later was reducing, especially in commercialize fish, and one of causing this problem was a high fishing intensity. The evaluasion of fishing gears impact to fish population have been required to made a concept of sustainable fishing strategy. The measurement of standard length and gonad maturity of fish specimens showed all kind of fishing gears that operated in Danau Bangkau swamp waters included a selectiveness fishing geard category (excepted horizontal gill net) and could be broken to repopulation. A regulation of fishing ground, fishing season and fishing zone have a best solution in order to optimize of fishing activity
ANALISIS KESESUAIAN KUALITAS AIR KOLAM BERDASARKAN PARAMETER pH, DO, AMONIAK, KARBONDIOKSIDA DAN ALKALINITAS DI BALAI BENIH DAN INDUK IKAN AIR TAWAR (BBI-IAT) KECAMATAN KARANG INTAN KABUPATEN BANJAR
In this research data obtained from measurements or observations a represented in the form of tabulated and graphics so clear the existence of variation search on each point of observation. Data analysis using STORET model and EQI. Statistical tests performed on 6 variables (Kolam1, II, III, IV, Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool V, VI). Each variable water quality analysis: pH, DO, NH3, CO2 and Alkalinityas much as 6 times the observation (Sunday I, II and III of the Week Week) on the morning and afternoon. To know the influence of parameters (pH, DO, NH3, CO2 and Alkalinity) of raw water quality pond done Multiple Linear regression analysis. Linear regression analysis of multiple shown r of ( 0,751 ), it means that happened a positive relationship between variables y (dependent variable) and x (independent ). R2 / determinan of ( 0,564 ), it means of 56,4 % quality standards apool water affected by water quality swimming ( pH, DO, NH3, of CO2 alkalinity )and of 43,6 % affected by another variable. Of a result of calculation to research obtained equation y = 0,484 - 0,067x1 - 0,027x2 - 0,506x3 - 0,036x4 0,002x5 -, it means any additional value the constant ( a ) by 0,484. Its influence will resulting in a decline of water quality is at ph ( X1 ) by 0,067, do ( X2 ) by 0,027 NH3 ( X3 ) by 0,506,CO2 ( X4 ) by 0,036 mg / l and alkalinity ( X5 ) by 0,002 mg / l
ANALISIS USAHA PENGOLAHAN KERUPUK IKAN GABUS (Channa Striata Bloch) PESERTA PROGRAM PEMBERDAYAAN KONSULTAN KEUANGAN MITRA BANK (KKMB) DI KALIMANTAN SELATAN (STUDI PEMBERDAYAAN KKMB DI KOTA BANJARMASIN)
This research aimed to analyze the technology performance of the snakehead crackers processing business in Banjarmasin City after participating in KKMB empowerment program; to compare the incomes of the snakehead crackers processors in Banjarmasin City before and after participating in KKMB empowerment program; to analyze the factors affecting the incomes of the snakehead crackers processors in Banjarmasin City after participating in KKMB empowerment program; to analyze the market opportunities of the snakehead crackers processed by program participants; and to identify the marketing channels of the snakehead crackers processed by program participants.This research was carried out in Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan, with theobjects of the snakehead crackers processors participating in KKMB empowerment program. The data that was collected was the data that directly originated from results of observation in the location of the research, and the other supporting data, was related tothe object of the research. Results of the research showed that the technology performance of the snakehead crackers processing business had grown well in Banjarmasin City after participating in KKMB empowerment program, characterised by the increasing quantity and quality ofproduction. Incomes of the snakehead crackers processors in Banjarmasin City after participating in program had increased, showed by the incomes increasing an average of189.79% from before participating in program. Income of the snakehead crackers processors in Banjarmasin City was significantly affected by the processed fish volume, the amount ofthe loan capital and business scale, which the regression coefficient of the each variable was positive and valid on test level of 99%. The average difference between the supply and demand of 4,65 tons/year indicated that the snakehead crackers marketing in Banjarmasin City still had a large market opportunity to keep organised. The marketing channels of the snakehead crackers processed by program participants in Banjarmasin City were consist of three pattern of the marketing channels, i.e. producers to consumers directly, producers through the collectors the retailers, and producers through the retailers before distributed to consumers
INJEKSI OODEV TERHADAP REMATURASI IKAN PAPUYU (Anabas testudineus, Bloch) DI DALAM WADAH BUDIDAYA
The Reproductive ability of parent fish which just finish spawming are common with stage I of gonadal maturity takes for a long time. Gonad may not mature if it is notgiven treatment. Doses of OODEV between 0,3 – 07 cc/kgs body weight give effect in inducing gonadal maturation.This Research shows that the highest fecundity was an average of 33190 eggs obtained from on Treatment C, and the largest egg diameter was an average of 0,7 mm also obtained in the treatment C. The highest HIS score was in treatment C (0,95%), while the highest IGS value obtained in treatment A (13,183%). The result of the Observations on the gonad histology climbing perch parent fish was the treatment with OODEV hormones caused the development of maturity level. Change in values and levelsof water quality were considered metting the standard for live fish climbing perch fish. The statistical test result on all the above test parameters showed that al was notsignificantly different among all treatment given; thus from the given hypothesis HO wasaccepted and H1 was rejected which means that OODEV injection dose did not significantly affect the maturation procces. The treatmen with OODEV was more than the level without the use of OODEV Hormones (Control). This is because of the role of the FSH in OODEV Hormone influenced the development of biosytesis of estradiol -17 betha and gonad
EFEKTIVITAS EKSTRAK BAWANG PUTIH ( Allium sativum L ) TERHADAP PERBAIKAN KUALITAS IKAN SELUANG ( Rasbora caudimaculata) KERING BENTUK BUTTERFLY
This study aims to know and determine the effectivity of optimum addition of garlic (Allium sativum L) on the dry butterfly-shaped greater scissortail fish (Rasbora caudimaculata) quality. The benefit of the study is an information source on the benefit of garlic on the dry scissortail product and as one of the diversification form of fisheries processed products. It was conducted in Fish Processing Laboratory of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, UNLAM, Banjarbaru, and Basic Science Laboratory,UNLAM, Banjarbaru. The study was done for 3 months covering laboratory analysis, data analysis and reporting. It used a Complete Randomized Design with 4 treatments each of which with 3replications. Treatment O was taken as control, 5% salt solution immersion, A: immersionin 5% salt solution added with 10% garlic extract, B: immersion in 5% salt solution added with 15% garlic extract, and C: immersion in 5% salt solution added with 20% garlicextract. Data included chemical test, such as water content, fat, and protein, andorganoleptic test, such as taste, aroma, color, and texture. Results showed that the lowest mean water content was found in treatment B,16.65%, fat in treatment O, 12.5066%, and the highest protein content was recorded in treatment O, 50.81%. Immersion in the garlic extract solution did not give significantly different effect on water content, fat, and protein of the dry butterfly-shaped greaterscissortail. The organoleptic test reflected that the panellists preferred the taste and aromaof the dry butterfly great scissortail at treatment C, treatment O for color, and treatment Afor texture. As conclusion, treatment C gave the best quality of the dry butterfly-shaped great scissortail product

This study aims to find out the comparison of constant use of lights and flashing lights in fishing activities by means of fishing gear done in Martapura swamp waters, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. KOMPOSISI PROKSIMAT IKAN SEPAT RAWA (Trichogaster trichopterus Pall) CRISPY MENGGUNAKAN PERISA INSTANT
Three-spot gourami is the most important fish commodity in East Borneo. The fish was only processed into fried salted fish and fermented fish such as wadi and bekasam until right now. The research of three-spot gouramy was only limited to fish salting and drying. One of the fish diversification processed was frying presto product that called fish crispy that has crisp and crunchy chacarteristics so its comfort to consume, adding with instant flavor (cheese, barbeque and sweet spicy) to increase product taste. There search on the fish crispy panelists acceptance with the addition of instant flavor produced the highest color and texture in cheese flavoring while the highest aroma and flavor value was in barbeque flavoring. The proximate composition of the product hasnot been analyzed. This study aims to learn the proximate composition and calcium of fish crispy using different instant flavoring. The treatment consisted of O (without seasoning), A (15% instant cheese flavoring), B (15% instant barbeque flavoring) and C(15% sweet spicy flavoring). Based on the proximate test, the treatment has a different effect on water, protein, fat and ash content. The B (barbeque) treatment is the best where the highest protein value is 58.24%
