    In determining the estimated volume flow, required an appropriate model toestimate the value of the volume flow of a watershed. It has been a decline in the carrying capacity of the Sub Watershed of Riam Kanan as the catchment area due to critical land cover. This study aims to estimate the flow of volume and its distribution in the Riam Kanan Watershed based on data Landsat7 ETM + Satellite Imagery.The results yield a regression equation Qp = 0.007p + 56.85 regression rate of 89.6%, indicating that land cover can lead directly to changes in flow volume in the sub watershed of Riam Kanan By using the data flow volume recorded on board thought the water reservoir (DMA) and data rains cause, the lowest flow volume data obtained in the lowest in Rantau Balai amount of 2.14 m3/sec and the highest in the Rantau Bujur amount of 17.65 m3/sec. As for the areas Bunglai, Tiwingan, Kalaan and Belangian have moderate flow volume ranged from 2.16 m3/sec - 6.59 m3/sec

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh profil hematosit udang Vannamei yang diberikan imunostimulan berupa alga laut melalui pakan terhadap infeksi penyakit WSSV.Penelitian ini dilakukan diLaboratorium Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan dan Laboratorium Sentral Ilmu Hayati Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Pemberian pakan dengan alga laut sebagai imunostimulan dengan jenis alga yang berbeda sebagai berikut :Kontrol positif (udang diinfeksi WSSV tanpa suplemen pakan alga laut); Kontrol negative (udang tanpa infeksi WSSV dan tanpa suplemen alga laut); A (suplementasi pakan dg Sargassum sp 10 g/kg pakan); B (suplementasi pakan dg Padina sp 10 g/kg pakan); C (suplementasi pakan dg Eucheuma cottonii 10 g/kg pakan); D (suplementasi pakan Garcillaria sp 10 g/kg pakan) dengan 3 ulangan.     Kegiatan penambangan intan di Desa Pumpung Kecamatan Cempaka Kota Banjarbaru Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan merupakan kegiatan penambangan tradisional yang telah sejak lama dilakukan dan memberikan dampak negatif terjadinya perubahan pH perairan sekitar. Penggunaan kapur gamping merupakan upaya alternatif yang efektif dan efisien untuk memperbaiki kondisi perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengkaji faktor penyebab menurunnya kualitas pH pada air bekas galian penambangan intan  di Cempaka, (2) mengkaji proses kapur gamping memulihkan pH air bekas galian penambangan intan di Cempaka, (3) dosis kapur gamping yang tepat diberikan agar peningkatan nilai pH air asam bekas pertambangan intan berada pada kisaran baku mutu.     Skin of swam ell and catfish were potential to gelatin extracted. Swamp ell skin doesn’t have scales, with much mucus and a few fat for catfish, it’s different from another fish skin that gelatin extracted usually. This research was studied yield and proximate gelatin extracted from skin of swam ell and catfish. Influence of drying was observed too.The first stage of the research was raw material preparation (fresh and dryfish skin) soaked in aquadest for 4 hours. Fish skin extracted using 0,05 M aceticacid for 10 hours, washed in water and then extracted using aquadest at 80oC for 2 hours to get gelatin liquid, the liquid was filtrated. Filtrat was dried in cabinet dryerat 55oC for 48 hours to get gelatin layers, and then blended to get gelatin granule.The results were gelatin yield from dry fish skin lower than fresh fish skin. Gelatin protein from dry fish skin more higher than fresh skin. Influence of fish skin drying was decrease gelatin ash and fat, but gelatin moisture wasn’t influenced. Gelatin from fresh skin swamp ell was the best gelatin with moisture 9,91%, ash 3,07%,protein 91,61%, lipid 0,82%

    This study aims to determine the feed Arowana fish seed (Scleropagesformosos) after feeding egg yolk tobe variations between, mosquito larvae bloodworms-mosquito larvae(A), crickets-mosquito larvae-crickets(B), and bloodworms-crickets- blood worms(C), are maintained in the container cultivation.Overall implemented for ±5 months from January 2013 to May 2013 in the month of PT. Kresna Pusaka Tirta Lestari Jln. Kuripan. No. 19D RT. 33, Eastern District of Banjarmasin, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan Parameters observed; Growth Relative Weight, Length Relative Growth, FeedConversion, Survival. Aperture mouth, Out of Egg Yolk longtime, and parameterWater Quality For Supporting Data.From the data obtained during the study relative weight of the highest growthratein treatment B (87.78%), and the lowest was intreatment C (83.98%). The mean length of the highest relative growth in treatment A (30.56%), and the lowest was intreatment C (30.44%). The highest feed conversion intreatment B (1,55%), and thelowest was intreatment A (0,59%). The highest survival rate in treatment A (93.33%),followed bytreatment B (91.52%), andthe lowest was intreatment C(86.67%). Theaverage opening mouth highest in treatment A (58.849), followed involves the B(54.922), and the lowest was intreatment C (51.413). Long arowana depleted eggyolks from the eggs pots(TBK) to egg a big body (TBB) is 13 days, from TBB to swimegg (TBR) 15 days, and from plain eggs to TBR 14 days, so the totalis 42 days. Waterquality during the study ranged between temperature 30-32° C, pH73.77, salinity 0.10- 0.18 ppt, and ammonia from 0.13 - 0.18mg/l .Based on the analysis of variance (ANOVA) on all treatments only on survivaland feed conversion were significantly different, followed by HSD test for survivaland Duncan test for feed conversion.     This study aims to determine the pollution levels of nitrate (N) and phosphate (P) in South Kalimantan Several subzone based method Pollution Index (Kep_MENLH /115/2003). The results were obtained relationship (r) between the variables Quality Standards(Y1) and variable (X) or Phosphate and Nitrate = 0.792. Calculation of the value of R2-determinant obtained yield was 0.672. This means that 67.2% factor Water QualityStandard (Y) is influenced by factors Phosphate and Nitrate, while the remaining 33.8%is influenced by other variables that can not be explained in the equation. The ratio between the parameter P and N (P = 0.577 N = 0,062 = 9.30), is between 7 to 12. It means that the variable Phosphate and Nitrate is not a limiting factor for contamination.Calculation results of the pollution index pareameter P and N obtained a value of 9.30,still meet quality standards for some sub-sub-basins (Riam Kanan, Tabanio, Naiyan River, River Satui, Kintap River, and the River Sebamban)

    Sediment Delivery Ratio Method approach is one method to determine the degree of criticality subzone. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of erosion that occurs, the critical level of distribution and relationship levels of sediment load to the needs of fisheries in some subzone South Kalimantan.The results of water quality analysis of total suspended solids (TSS) showed thatthe rate of sedimentation (precipitation) is the highest in Sub-watershed area Kusan with arange of about 2918.22 tons / day and the lowest is subject subzone Pelaihari with a range of about 0.64 tons /day. Thus the content of TSS that do not affect the interests of fisheries are at subzone Pelaihari with TSS value of 16 mg/l

Technique of sampling locations use purposive sampling and respondents sampling use purposive randomsampling.The results showed that types of work fisherman’s wife performed in fisheriesinclude : salted fish processing, shrimp paste processing, processing ebi, ang processing of prawn crackers, revenue contribution fisherman’s wife who worked as a salted fish processing amounted to 32,32%, as processing shirmp paste amounted to 31,29%, asprocessing ebi amounted to 31,01%, as processing shrimp crackers amounted to 23,95%.Average revenue contribution amounting to 29,64%, fish crackers opportunies amountedto 48,58%, shrimp meatball amounted to 30,36%, shrimp amplangs amounted to 10,12%,and shrimp nuggets amounted to 10,93%

    This study aimed to analyze the perception of pond fish farmers towards development in the village Minapolitan Cindai Alus and to analysis factors which will affect the development Minapolitan areas such as education, employment, income, length of business, and counseling, especially counseling Fisheries.This study uses a survey approach to the sampling technique used purposive sampling,this is because in this study using a data sample drawn from the population. The type of data obtained in this study is quantitative data, in this study the quantitative data is the data obtained from the perception of fish farmers, communities, and the factors that influence in the form of a score or qualitative data diangkakan. Analysis of the data usinga Likert scale to determine the perception of fish farmers/ community, namely to measure attitudes, income, and perceptions of a person or a group of social phenomena. Multiplelinear regression analysis model is processed through the SPSS program is used to estimate the factors that influence the perception of the development of fish farmers in the village Minapolitan Cindai Alus Martapura Subdistrict Banjar district and the factors that influence it. Factors that influence public perception of the pond fish farmers in the village minapolitan program Cindai Alus Martapura Subdistrict Banjar district namely Education, Income, Old Business, and Education. The results of t-test education amounted to 3,912 with significance level of 0.001. The results of t-test income amounted to 0.189 with a significance level of 0.853. T-test results for long operations amounted to 0.331 with a significance level of 0.745. The results of t-test counseling is at 0.318 with asignificance level of 0.775
