    PERSEPSI DAN PARTISIPASI NELAYAN DESA TAMPAKANG TERHADAP PENGAWASAN KEGIATAN PERIKANAN TANGKAP DI PERAIRAN SEKITAR DESA TAMPAKANG KABUPATEN HULU SUNGAI UTARA, KALIMANTAN SELATAN

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi dan partisipasi nelayan Desa Tampakang terhadap pengawasan kegiatan perikanan tangkap di perairan sekitar Desa Tampakang. pengukuran persepsi dan partisipasi nelayan Desa Tampakang menggunakan skala likert dengan jumlah sampel 61 orang nelayan. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa partisipasi nelayan dalam kegiatan pengawasan perikanan tangkap mencapai skor 196 point atau partisipasi nelayan hanya sebesar 20,21%. Kemudian diketahui persepsi nelayan terhadap kinerja lembaga pengawas kegiatan perikanan tangkap yaitu pemerintah dan pokmaswas mencapai skor 266 point atau nelayan Desa Tampakang berpendapat kinerja lembaga pengawas kegiatan perikanan tangkap hanya mencapai 39,34%. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bagian dari evaluasi kerja pemerintah dan juga masyarakat nelayan Desa Tampakang dalam pengawasan kegiatan perikanan tangkap

    Ayunan is the trap most widely used by public Sungai Batang Village, inaddition to the unique shape of this tool also has an extensive capacity toaccommodate good catches of shrimp and fish species. In addition to the village ofSungai Batang, at the Hulu Sungai region there is also the ayunan that looks differentfrom contained in Sungai Batang Village.This study aims to (1) know the difference between shrimp of catch amorayunan and box ayunan, and (2) to determine the catch other than shrimp. Theresults of research, treatment A (amor ayunan) shrimp catches as many as 1464 ,with a total weight of 9100 grams. Treatment B (box ayunan), shrimp catches asmany as 1443 , with a total weight of 7730 grams. Type of main haul shrimp(Macrobrachium rosenbergii de Man) and Freshwater Shrimp (Palaemon sp), with bycatches are Lundu (Mystus gulio) with a total of 18 and total weight of 215 grams,sapu-sapu (Hypostomus plecostomus ) 2 , weighing a total of 560 grams, Puyau(Osteochilus hasselti) 3 , weighing a total of 35 grams, telan (Macrognathusaculeatus) 2 , weighing 810 grams.Bamboo and rattan as materials to make the ayunan has a weaknessbecause odor (smell) is not good (bangai) and therefore contributes to the catch.     PENGARUH PERBEDAAN TINGKAT PROTEIN DAN RASIO PROTEIN PAKAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN IKAN SEPAT (Trichogaster pectoralis)

    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat protein dan energi pakanterbaik pada ikan sepat. Manfaat penelitian ini untuk dapat dijadikan informasi dasar mengenai tingkat protein dan energi yang sesuai bagi kebutuhan konsumsi pakan danpertumbuhan benih ikan sepat. Ikan uji yang digunakan ikan sepat (Trichogasterpectoralis) dengan bobot individu berkisar antara 5±2 gram dan panjang baku berkisar5±3 cm. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimen, menggunakan Rancangan AcakLengkap (RAL) dengan 6 macam perlakuan dan masing-masing diulang sebanyak 3kali. Perlakuan yang diberikan terdiri atas tingkat energi protein yang berbeda, yaitu perlakuan A (2800 kkal/35%), perlakuan B (3150 kkal/35%), perlakuan C (3150kkal/40%), perlakuan D (3600 kkal/ 40%), perlakuan E (3600 kkal/45%), dan perlakuan F (4050 kkal/45%). Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertumbuhan mutlak,laju pertumbuhan relatif, konversi pakan, efisiensi pakan, kelangsungan hidup, dankualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pakan dengan tingkat protein 40%dan energi 3150 kkal/kg menghasilkan pertumbuhan mutlak, laju pertumbuhan relatif,konversi pakan, dan efisiensi pemberian pakan yang terbaik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Kelangsungan hidup ikan sepat berkisar antar 96,67-100%. Kualitas air (suhu, pH, DO, NH3, dan CO2) pada tiap perlakuan masih memenuhi standar untuk kehidupan ikan sepat

    This research aims to obtain an exact comparison between the volume of water and the weight of the giant freshwater prawn head (Macrobrachium rosenbergii de man) so as to increase the protein content in the processed products of sticks. The design used in the research was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 1: 1, 1: 2 treatment and without the addition of shrimp head extract (control). The parameters observed were organoleptic test, protein content, and water content. The result of this research showed that the extract of shrimp head with ratio 1: 1 resulted stick protein product 12,67%, while the treatment of prawns extract of prawn with ratio 1: 2 protein content was 13,24% and treatment without giving of shrimp head extract pole protein content only produce stick products with a protein content of 6, 21%. The addition extract of giant freshwater prawn head also yields a preferred flavor of the panelists compared to the treatment without the addition of a giant freshwter prawns head extract

    Snakehead and other fish species in waters of the swamp doing spawning at the beginning or in the middle of the rainy season. Gonadal maturation process so as to returntime is limited. Aquaculture development is highly dependent on the availability of seeds that meet the timeliness, quality and quantity. The seeds can be produced continuously if supported by the availability of mature broodstock with good quality eggs. Some research about the role of hormones and or the use of stimulants to the success in support of gonad development and spawning, such as; Siam Jambal fish, Pangasius hypophthalmus (Ernawati 1999), Catfish, Clarias batrachus (Zairin et al. 2001), and catfish, Hemibagrusnemurus (Supriyadi 2005). By because they were with potential to take advantage of folicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) that serves as the control at the start of the reproductive cycle up to ovulation and spermiasi in fish. The aim of this research is determine of biodiversity vegetation as an efforts of tsunami mitigation in Purworejo coastal area, Central Java. This research conducted at August-September 2016 in beach and coastal area of Purworejo Regency, Central Java. It was three location including Gedangan Village, Jati kontal Village, and Ngentak Village.This research obtained that beach area of Purworejo Regency consist of 16 family and 18 plant species with the potencial species for tsunami mitigation are Casuarina equisetifolia, Terminalia catappa, and Hibiscus tiliaceus. The coastal area of Purworejo Regency are habitat of mangrove vegetation consist of 6 family and 8 plant species with the potencial species for tsunami mitigation are Rhizophora mucronata, R.stylosa, Sonneratia alba, S.caseolaris, and Nypa fruticans

    The aims of this study were to determine the level of yellow pumpkin substitution on Nile tilapia fish ball processing to improve the fish ball quality. The treatment used in this study is a different level of substitution (0, 10, 20%) respectively. The Nile tilapia fishball substituted with yellow pumpkin was analyzed in term of water, protein, fat, ash and carbohydrate content. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications. The result showed that fish ball with 20% substitution of yellow pumpkin is the best formulation in term of water, protein, fat, ash and carbohydrate content
