UJI DAYA TERIMA DAN ANALISIS KANDUNGAN GULA TOTAL PADA SOFTDRINK BUNGA ROSELLA DAN STEVIA SEBAGAI MINUMAN ALTERNATIF UNTUK PENDERITA DIABETES MELLITUS
No full textDiabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease whose prevalence continues to increase and is associated with high sugar consumption. One of the strategies for managing diabetes is the development of low-calorie functional beverages that remain sensorially acceptable. This study aims to test the acceptability and analyze the total sugar content of soft drinks based on roselle flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) and stevia (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni) as a natural zero-calorie sweetener. This research uses an experimental method with a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Four formulations were tested, namely: F0 (2.5% roselle + 16% granulated sugar), F1 (2.5% roselle + 0.5% stevia), F2 (2.5% roselle + 0.7% stevia), and F3 (2.5% roselle + 1% stevia). A hedonic test was conducted on the parameters of color, aroma, taste, and texture by semi-trained panelists with inclusion criteria (students had already received material related to hedonic testing, were willing to be panelists, were physically and mentally healthy, and had eaten more than 30 minutes prior) and exclusion criteria (flu or anosmia, ageusia or loss of taste, a history of stomach acid, and smoking). Data were analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis followed by Post Hoc Mann-Whitney. The results of the hedonic test for taste (p=0.0039) and color (p=0.0035) attributes showed significant differences, while there were no significant differences for aroma (p=0.2796) and texture (p=0.1975) attributes. Post-hoc analysis showed that F1 was preferred over F3. The total sugar content of F1 was 9,74%, while that of F0 was 7,54%. The independent t-test showed a significant difference between the total sugar content of F1 and F0 (p=0.0003)

No full textThis study aims to describe: 1) the formulation of ampel bamboo shoot (Bambusa vulgaris) doughnuts to support local food diversification, and 2) the level of preference for ampel bamboo shoot (Bambusa vulgaris) doughnuts to support local food diversification. Ampel bamboo shoot is a local food with high nutritional content, especially rich in fiber, which enhances the nutritional value of doughnuts. In every 100 grams, it contains approximately 25 kcal energy, 0.8 g protein, 5.3 g carbohydrates, and 9.7 g dietary fiber. This quantitative descriptive study used an experimental method with a hedonic test panel of 50 general public consumer panelists. Data were collected via an observation sheet measuring community preference using a Likert scale. The results show that: 1) a good formulation for ampel bamboo shoot (Bambusa vulgaris) doughnuts to support local food diversification was obtained after two experimental processes, and 2) the panelists' level of preference for ampel bamboo shoot (Bambusa vulgaris) doughnuts to support local food diversification was reviewed from five aspects, namely: color aspect with a score of 4.94, texture aspect with a score of 4.88, aroma aspect with a score of 4.92, taste aspect with a score of 4.62, and shape aspect with a score of 4.86. No full textThe Pokdarwis of Lebakmuncang Village is a group of community leaders participating in the tourism village development program in South Bandung Regency. To unlock the tourism potential of Lebakmuncang Village, which includes stunning natural beauty, unique cultural heritage, and distinctive local crafts, it is essential to provide training and counseling. This activity uses a descriptive method, namely providing counseling and training to Pokdarwis members. Data analysis is carried out through four stages: collection, simplification, presentation, and verification of information. However, despite its significant potential, these attractions have not been fully utilized to support the economic growth of the local community. Challenges Faced by Pokdarwis in Developing Tourism Potential include: 1) Lack of Digital Understanding and Skills Limited knowledge about using digital tools for tourism promotion and management; 2) Conventional Promotion Methods Heavy reliance on traditional forms of marketing that have a limited reach; 3) Absence of an Integrated Tourism Information System Lack of a centralized platform to present comprehensive tourism information. The primary goal of coaching Pokdarwis is to help them recognize the potential of Lebakmuncang Village as a promising tourist destination and to empower them to share this vision with the broader community, which serves as a vital resource in village tourism development. Training and Counseling Program The training and counseling sessions were conducted over two days, from July 6-7, 2024. The results of these sessions were significant Increased Participation, Improved Financial Management, Adoption of Modern Packaging Technologies. Expanded tourism promotion reach with the adoption of digital tools such as social media, websites, and digital tourism platforms, the reach of tourism promotions has significantly expanded, attracting visitors from outside the region. This more structured and measurable approach has led to a noticeable increase in tourist visits

No full textBanyuwangi is a regency in East Java Province, located at the eastern tip of Java Island. Banyuwangi Regency is bordered by Situbondo Regency in the north, Bali Strait in the east, Indian Ocean in the south and Jember Regency and Bondowoso Regency in the west. Ketapang Port connects Java Island with Gilimanuk Port in Bali. Banyuwangi is the largest district in East Java. Its area is 5,782.50 km. Its territory is quite diverse, from lowlands to mountains. The Banyuwangi area is bordered by Bondowoso Regency, there is a series of Ijen Plateau with peaks of Mount Raung (3,282 m) and Mount Merapi (2,800 m), both of which are active volcanoes. The southern part has plantations, relics from the time of the Dutch East Indies. On the border with the southern Jember Regency, it is a conservation area that is now protected in a nature reserve, namely Meru Betiri National Park. Sukamade Beach is a turtle development area. The Blambangan Peninsula also has a nature reserve, namely Alas Purwo National Park (Central Statistics Agency Kabupaten Banyuwangi, 2013). Banyuwangi Regency besides being famous for its culture, tourism, and natural beauty, it turns out that this regency also still has traditions that are still maintained from the past until now. Improving the Coaching Knowledge of Physical and Sports Teachers to Improve Students Sports Achievements in Malang City
No full textIdeally physical education teachers have three main competencies in supporting student development. First, the ability to develop movement activities that aim to facilitate physical activity and maintain the health of students through an educational approach. Second, skills in developing non-academic achievements according to the talents and interests of students, both inside and outside the school environment. Third, the ability to develop and optimize the potential for student achievement in sports. Opportunities for students who have talent and ability in sports are increasingly open with the existence of various championship events at the regional and national levels. However, these opportunities are often not balanced with an increase in the coaching science competencies possessed by physical education teachers. Community service method uses the lecture method, mentoring, and measurement of results. Results of this community service explain that teachers are aware of the importance of developing a structured and effective training program, but they face obstacles such as limited sports facilities in schools and minimal knowledge of sports psychology. In addition, they also pay less attention to continuous evaluation in training and tend to use conventional training techniques. Therefore, this community service emphasizes the importance of advanced training to update their knowledge, as well as the need for a more flexible training approach that is tailored to the needs of individual students

Literature Study on the Development of Solar Power Plant (PLTS) Technology
No full textThe development of solar power plants (PLTS) has become a key focus in the global transition toward clean and sustainable energy, including in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the technological advancements in PLTS over the past decade, with an emphasis on solar panel efficiency, emerging technologies such as perovskite solar cells, and the challenges of implementing these systems within Indonesia’s geographic and socio-economic context. The methodology includes a systematic review of scientific articles from academic databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and ResearchGate, using inclusion criteria of peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025. The review reveals improvements in solar cell efficiency from first-generation technologies to perovskite innovations, alongside emerging trends in hybrid systems and the integration of PLTS with smart grids to enhance energy distribution reliability. The findings also highlight key barriers to PLTS implementation in Indonesia, including high initial investment costs, soiling losses, and limited infrastructure. This study recommends future research to focus on the development of high-efficiency systems, integrated energy storage solutions, climate-adaptive technology design for tropical environments, and the formulation of supportive policies to expand PLTS adoption in household, industrial, and remote area sector

No full textThis article discusses the controversy and feasibility regarding Soeharto's appointment as Indonesia's National Hero. Although Suharto is known for successfully advancing Indonesia's economy for 32 years, he was also involved in human rights violations, corruption, collusion and nepotism. The aim of writing this article is to examine the theoretical understanding of the issue of Soeharto's appointment as a national hero, the procedure for appointing a hero in Indonesia, as well as the public's views regarding the controversy and suitability of Soeharto to become a National Hero. Using qualitative research methods, this article explores the contributions and controversies surrounding Soeharto as well as the requirements for becoming a national hero. Various views from human rights activists and academics show the importance of moral integrity in honoring national heroes. Even though Suharto had significant contributions, his complex leadership legacy is best recognized as part of history without giving him the title of National Hero
