Creating a Campus for Learning Together with Students with Disabilities ― Focusing on the Process of Establishing the ‘Pre-Admission Consultation Q&A’ ―
Get PDF2024 年に施行された改正「障害者差別解消法」により，大学を含むすべての事業者が不当な差別的取り扱いの禁止と合理的配慮の提供を義務づけられた．これにより私立大学の障害学生支援が法令順守の問題となり具体的な取り組みが求められている．日本福祉大学では合理的配慮の提供のための体制整備と改革プロセスを進めている．本研究では「入学前説明用 Q&A」の策定過程を検討し，学内体制構築への影響を説明する．結果，合理的配慮への教員の共通認識の醸成やインクルーシブ教育への道筋が示唆された . 課題としては，修正担当者やそのサポート体制が明確ではないことであり，学部によって対応の差もあり，改善の必要がある．departmental bulletin pape

Undervaluing Others and Other Personality Traits: Relationships With the Tokyo University Egogram （TEG）
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to clarify the personality characteristics of adolescents who tend to undervalue others and examines how this tendency relates to ego states measured by the Tokyo University Egogram. We also explore gender differences in these relationships based on prior findings. We surveyed 362 university students and found that the Critical Parent（CP）and Adult（A）ego states positively correlated with the tendency to undervalue others. In contrast, the Nurturing Parent state showed a negative association. These relationships remained significant after controlling for other ego states. Although there were specific gender-based differences, structural equation modeling indicated that a model without gender differentiation fit the data well. Moreover, analysis by competence type revealed that individuals categorized as the “assumed-competence type”（characterized by low self-esteem and high levels of undervaluing others）tended to display a W-shaped ego state profile. This profile included high CP, A, and Adapted Child scores and low NP and Free Child scores. Influence of images of used items and information processing styles on its purchase intentions
Get PDFThis study examined the impact of information processing styles and images of used items on purchase intentions. A web survey of 581 participants was conducted, focusing on three aspects: the factor structure of images of used items and purchase intentions, differences based on age and gender, and the influence of information processing styles and images on purchase intentions. Factor analysis revealed two dimensions of images of used items―positive value and crudeness―and three categories of purchase intentions: household goods, house and vehicles, and hobbies and children. No significant age or gender differences were found in images of used items. However, men showed higher purchase intentions than women for household goods and house and vehicles, while participants in their 30s had higher intentions for hobbies and children than those in their 50s. Multiple regression analysis indicated that positive value image was positively associated with purchase intentions, whereas crudeness was negatively associated with household goods purchases. Additionally, rational information processing was positively associated with purchase intentions for house and vehicles. The findings of this study highlight the importance of positive image and information processing styles in shaping used item’s purchase intentions and have implications for consumer behavior in a sound material-cycle society.departmental bulletin pape
Factors related to limb kinematics on gait in post-stroke patients
Get PDFFactors related to limb kinematics during gait in post-stroke patients are unclear. The purpose of this study was to identify factors related to limb kinematics during gait in post-stroke patients. Seventy-two post-stroke patients (mean ± standard deviation, age: 61.8 ± 14.8 years, stroke onset: 78.1 ± 22.8 days) were included. Participants walked at a comfortable gait speed on a 16-m gait path without therapist assistance or lower limb orthosis, and limb kinematics were measured from the video data captured. Additionally, clinical evaluations such as severity of motor paralysis were measured. Multiple regression analysis revealed that limb angle was related to balance ability, and limb length was related to spasticity severity and gait speed. These findings may provide a basis for further investigation of the mechanisms that influence limb kinematics during gait in post-stroke patients and for the development of optimal gait-liberation strategies.departmental bulletin pape
