SPAPTI.
Tutora: Tamara Vergel Borrego; Centre: Institut Serrallarga (Blanes)The use of smart technologies by adolescents and postural changes are socially
relevant. The objective is to design a strategy for the rational use of smart
technology and prevent postural changes in the adolescent population in Blanes.
A literature review and a survey are conducted to explore expert opinions. The
evidence confirms the relationship between the time spent using smart
technologies and increased pain in the neck, spine, and hands. Experts consider
incorrect posture, obesity, physical inactivity, muscle contractures, and imbalance
to be effects of technology use. They recommend postural education,
strengthening exercises, and regular ergonomic breaks. The designed strategy

The hidden challenge of membrane recycling: how drying affects membrane layers?
Improper management or storage after discharge of thin film composite membranes are challenging due to potential drying, which may affect the integrity of the material, decrease the performance and impede their potential recycling for second-hand applications. The impact of drying onto the different layers of thin film composite membranes remain empirical and poorly studied. This work systematically assessed the impact of the drying phenomena on the physical changes across poly(amide) and poly(sulfone) layers by applying drying/rewetting protocols consisting of (1) soaking the membrane in a solvent, (2) drying at 60 °C and (3) rewetting with ethanol. After each step, membrane performance as well as surface characterization were assessed. Severe loss of permeabilities, up to 65 and 90 % for the poly(amide) and the poly(sulfone) layer respectively, were observed. Drying effect was demonstrated to be quickly reversible (1 min soaking in ethanol) for the poly(amide) layer even over several drying-rehydration cycles. Permeability of the poly(sulfone) layer appeared to be permanently impacted due to a possible irreversible surface shrinkage and pores collapsing showing permanent changes in the poly(sulfone) layer. These findings highlight the importance of studying membrane drying to prevent further performance loss, optimize material lifetime, ensure continuity of operation, and enable membrane recyclingThis work is part of the project OSMO4LIVES (PID2021-127629OA-I00) funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and EDRF/EU.
Chronic venous disease is a highly prevalent vascular trastron and the result of chronic venous insufficiency, consequently the venous sore develops in the lower limb, which is the loss of skin integrity due to increased return venous pressure. The healing time is high if it is not diagnosed early, as is if adherence to treatment is low, also increasing recurrence and reducing the quality of life of the person. For this reason and for a near future, it is important to know when and how each of these factors affects in order to optimize this process, promoting optimal healing and healing.
Aim
Determine the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that affect the healing process of a person with venous ulcer.
Methodology
A bibliographic review has been carried out using the Pubmed and CINAHL databases during the months of January until March 2025. The terms MeSH and the Bolivian operator “AND” have been used to search with the appropriate words. 18 articles have been chosen according to the established inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Results
A selection of 18 articles has been made for review, 4 systematic reviews, 2 transversal studies, 1 prospective observational study, 1 clinical review, 2 randomized clinical trials, 2 bibliographic reviews, 1 prospective cohort study, 1 narrative review, 1 exhaustive review, 1 clinical trial, 1 cluster analysis and 1 prospective study.
To know what are and how intrinsic and extrinsic factors affect the healing of the ulcer, it is necessary to take into account the globality of the person and their environment, complementing the standard treatment such as compression therapy with complementary treatments. In this way there is an acceleration in healing time. It has been shown that people who carry out a physical activity program personalized to their needs, do not have a Vitamin C or zinc deficit, comply with treatment and live accompanied have a faster cure. As in psychological terms, aspects such as stress, anxiety and depression slow down the healing process in a pronounced way.
7
Conclusions
Compression therapy is the most effective treatment. Intrinsic factors such as gender, age and psychosocial factors such as depression, stress and anxiety play a crucial role in healing. Regarding extrinsic factors, nutrition is a key determinant, while lifestyle, educational level and socio-economic factors influence more superficially and indirectly.
In short, it is necessary to address healing from a global and holistic perspective, taking into account the standard treatment accompanied by complementary treatments and factors that influence modifiable and non-modifiable to favor the healing and quality of life of people with venous sore
Starting from an interest in the educational and cultural project named Misiones Pedagógicas, the aim of this project is to examine the current status of the issue through published papers on the topic. Throughout an enquiry on the mentioned papers and coetaneous sources, specially the so-called Memorias of the Patronato de Misiones Pedagógicas (1934 and 1935), an evaluation has been made of how History and numerous scholars specialized in the missionary phenomenon have treated the aspects on the subject, specially those with a more social and political category. Using this evaluation, a confirmation has been done about the diversity and profundity of the papers about the Misiones, as well as those sections with unexplored potential, and a historical review of the missionary model allowed to highlight its origin and the transformations of its features, varied and reimagined, in differents temporalities and politicals frameworks.41
Nursing assessment of differential needs and their correlates across neuroimaging-based depression subtypes: research project
Introduction: Depression is one of the most prevalent and incident mental disorders worldwide. Its heterogeneity complicates both diagnosis and treatment approach difficult. Recently, neuroimaging has allowed the identification of differentiated brain patterns based on anatomical structures and physiological functions, which suggests the existence of subtypes of depression, opening new doors for a more precise classification of the disorder and for treatment selection.
In this context, psychoradiology emerges as a field that merges psychiatry and radiology to study these neurobiological differences. This project explores how, from a nursing perspective, through a structured evaluation using Gordon's functional health patterns, it might be possible to identify specific needs according to depression subtype. This could contribute to the development of more effective and focused nursing interventions, promoting person-centred and evidence-based care, moving away from the current generalist paradigm in depressive disorders.
Objectives: To identify whether there are distinguishable specific needs among depression subtypes through nursing assessment based on Gordon’s patterns. To explore the relationship between the needs and the neurobiological patterns observed in neuroimaging, which could be used as a starting point to propose specific nursing interventions.
Methodology: Quantitative, observational, and cross-sectional study, not completed. The estimated sample will consist of 370 participants diagnosed with major depressive disorder, according to DSM-5-TR criteria.
Participants will be asked to complete several questionnaires. First, a sociodemographic questionnaire. Then, the FHPAST (Functional Health Pattern Assessment Screening Tool), which evaluates the needs based on the 11 functional health patterns by Gordon. Finally, the PHQ-9 will be used to assess the severity of depressive symptomatology. Functional and structural neuroimaging data will also be collected. This information will allow the classification of participants into four subtypes of depression, based on neurobiological patterns.
The data will be analysed using descriptive statistics to identify significant associations between depression subtypes and detected needs. Bivariate analysis will also be conducted to study significant relationships between variables
This paper is based on a real clinical case of a girl diagnosed with ALL, and its main objective
is to develop a nursing care plan grounded in current scientific evidence. The care plan
follows the five stages of the nursing process. First, a comprehensive assessment is
conducted using Virginia Henderson’s model of 14 basic needs. Second, nursing diagnoses
are identified using the NANDA-I taxonomy (2024–2026). Third, the expected outcomes are
formulated using the standardized NOC language (2024). Next, the most appropriate
nursing interventions are selected through the NIC taxonomy (2024), specifying the level of
scientific evidence and the clinical grade of recommendation. Finally, the plan is
implemented and its results are evaluated.
The literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Clinical Key, Scielo,
and Elsevier, alongside institutional sources including WHO, the Spanish Association of
Pediatrics, the Ministry of Health, and the National Institute of Statistics. To ensure the
highest level of evidence-based support for the nursing interventions, clinical practice
guidelines from sources like NICE, GuíaSalud, NIH, and ACS were also consulted. Keywords
used in the search included: acute lymphoblastic leukemia, pediatric nursing, NANDA
nursing diagnoses, health education, and emotional support.
The results show that the girl’s altered needs include: breathing, eating and drinking, resting,
avoiding hazards, communication, recreation, and learning. The identified nursing
diagnoses include: risk of infection, ineffective sleep pattern, acute pain, anxiety, impaired
recreational activity, nutritional imbalance, and knowledge deficit. Based on these, a
personalized and evidence-based nursing care plan was developed.
In conclusion, ALL in children affects multiple dimensions of development, and the nursing
role is essential in providing holistic and high-quality care. Creating a tailored care plan allows for an effective, person-centered approach, guided by scientific evidence and
adapted to the specific needs of each pediatric patient
[Objective] Currently, individuals must understand statistical data to form critical opinions and make informed decisions. For this reason, various organizations and authors have pointed out the need to begin to develop gradually, from an early age, data reading skills and their graphic representation, an aspect that has been progressively incorporated into the mathematics curricula of various countries. In this context, this study aims to conduct a systematic review of research articles published over the last decade (2014-2023) that have analyzed the knowledge of statistical graphics among infant and primary school students (4 to 12 years old). [Methodology] Based on the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) statement, after applying the exclusion criteria, 12 articles published in the Web of Science, Scopus, and SciELO databases were analyzed. [Results] The main findings show: a) a low number of articles related to students in the first years of school, predominantly research focused on primary education; b) the most researched topic is reading and interpretation of graphs. [Conclusions] New studies should be promoted to more precisely identify the different types of knowledge regarding statistical graphics that students can acquire according to their age (4-12 years). This will help in designing and implementing teaching practices aimed at fostering optimal graphic comprehension[Objetivo] Actualmente, es necesario que la ciudadanía comprenda los datos estadísticos, para generar posturas críticas y tomar decisiones.
