ISLAMIC EDUCATION STUDENTS’ PERSPECTIVE ABOUT ENGLISH SUBJECT
Get PDFThis research aims to know the perspective of Islamic students about English subject. It reveals the questions such as: 1) what is the perspective of Islamic studies students towards English Subject in State Islamic Institute Pontianak?, 2) how does English learning process help Islamic studies students in State Islamic Institute Pontianak enrich their field study knowledge?. The research used mixed method. To answers the first research question, survey was used as research method, and questioner was used as instrument. Meanwhile, to answer the second research question, qualitative approach was chosen as method to gain answer. Interview was used as data collecting technique. The finding found that Islamic education students had positive perception dealing with the importance of learning English. The result also showed that English learning process on most of students’ perspective had not been effective and it did not give much contribution in increasing students’ English ability which deals with their disciplines. In conclusion, positive perception of students about the importance of learning English was not facilitated enough by learning process.

It is characterized by easy access to information without distance, between one country and another with only seconds and minutes that information can be easily obtained, on the other hand supported by the rapid technology increasingly burdensome which certainly greatly helps human life, then the emergence of quite serious problems, crime, sexual harassment, crisis of trust, corruption and many more new globalized triggers and even students who dare to persecute their teacher to die, the negative impact of degrading values religious values and tend to make this nation a character crisis. The solution is to re-instill Islamic values as a character, starting from an early age by instilling multicultural values, caring for the environment, nationalism, democracy, honesty through a religious approach to realize the harmony of life. The output of the cultivation of Islamic values is expected to be able to make Indonesian people intelligently comprehensive and competitive Spiritual Smart Self-actualization through the heart to grow and strengthen the faith, piety and noble character including noble character and superior personality. Emotional and social smart self-actualization through a sense of sensitivity to increase sensitivity and appreciation, self-actualization through social interaction that fosters and fosters mutual relations, democratic, empathetic and sympathetic upholding human rights, intellectual intelligence: self-actualization through thinking to acquire competencies and independence in science and smart kinesthetic: self-actualizing through sports to create a healthy, fit, empowered, alert, skilled person
The Ides Of March : Representasi Etos Kerja Seorang Public Relation
Get PDFThe film The Ides of March tells the work ethic of a public relations (PR). The purpose of this research is to find out the work ethic of PR practitioners in the film The Ides of March. This article is interpretive qualitative with the object of research is a PR on the film "The Ides of March”. Data is collected by viewing the film, then analyzing the conversation and visual of the film. The collected data were analyzed with Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory techniques, including representamen, interpretants, and objects. The results of the analysis obtained 5 themes, namely Religion in politics, image formation, optimism, conflict management, and communication skills. The conclusion is that PR can win candidates who are supported due to political strategy and good PR communication skills.

Film The Ides of March menceritakan etos kerja seorang public relation (PR). Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui Etos Kerja Praktisi PR Dalam Film The Ides Of March. Artikel ini berjenis kualitatif interpretif dengan objek penelitian yaitu seorang PR pada film “The Ides Of March. Data dikumpulkan dengan melihat film, kemudian menganalisis percakapan dan visual film. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan tehnik semiotika teori Charles Sanders Peirce, meliputi representamen, interpretant, dan object. Hasil analisis diperoleh 5 tema yaitu Agama dalam politik, pembentukan image, optimisme, managemen konflik, dan kemampuan komunikasi. Kesimpulannya yaitu PR dapat memenangkan calon yang didukung karena strategi politik dan kemampuan komunikasi PR yang baik.

The Sasak People of Lombok: Indigenous Communities at The Crossroads of Globalization
Get PDFThis article focuses on changes that have taken place among Lombok’s indigenous communities, including Sasak Bayan, Sasak Sade, and Sasak Ende. This study found that in the context of thick globalization where information technology is the driving force, the indigenous communities are no longer as the objects of the global cultural market. Instead, they are given the freedom to choose and sort out values that they consider good and appropriate with their needs. In addition, they also exercise the freedom of expression. However, the problem lies in the fact that their choices and ways of expressions are quite often violating old loyalties they have agreed. The communities of Sasak Bayan, Sasak Sade and Sasak Ende provide important information on how indigenous communities respond creatively to globalization based on their needs
Spiritual Education Mission in the Mufassirin Perspective
Get PDFSpiritual crisis is a factor leading to disorientation in today’s modern humans and the decline of morality of the nation. The low level of spirituality is caused by an educational approach that only focuses on the brain and ignores spiritual values. The Qur'an has actually affirmed the mission of spiritual education which should be used as a reference for the current education system. This article employs library research method through a comparison of the way the mufassirin interpret verses about the mission of spiritual education. The results show that the mission of spiritual education carried out by the Prophet Muhammad can be seen for example in Surat Al-Anbiya' verse 107, Surat Saba' verse 28 and Surat Al-Ahzab verse 21, namely rahmatan lil 'alamin (mercy to all creations). The prophet has brought evidence the truth to perfect the akhlậq, as well as to become the followers of uswah hasanah (perfect example) which must be imitated by all humans. Meanwhile, the stages of increasing spirituality in the Surat Luqman Verses 12-19, include: (1) instilling the tauhid values, (2) being filial to parents, (3) understanding the reciprocity of each deed, (4) command to worship, (5) introducing politeness in social life. Elements of spiritual education contained in Surat al-Muzzammil Verses 1-10 include qiyamul lail or night prayer, reciting the Qur’an in a tartil way, getting used to zikr, patience, jihad fi sabilillah or fighting on the path of Allah, and always praying and begging forgiveness from Allah
PENGARUH TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN ORANGTUA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengaruh tingkat pendidikan orangtua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Nilai yang diperoleh dari para siswa secara umum cukup baik antara 60-80, hal ini diduga karena sebagian para siswa mendapatkan bimbingan orangtua mereka terhadap tugas belajarnya ketika di rumah, Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa baiknya prestasi belajar yang dicapai oleh sebagian besar siswa kelas VII di SMP Haruniyah sangat berhubungan dengan bimbingan orangtua terhadap belajar siswa terutama dalam perhatian dan pengarahan orangtua pada para siswa ketika di rumah. Masalah umum dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh tingkat pendidikan orangtua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Haruniyah. Jenis penelitian termasuk penelitian kuantitatif karena datanya dianalisis dengan statistik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Haruniyah D Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIC. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik komunikasi tidak langsung, teknik dokumentasi, dan teknik observasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis statistik parametrik yaitu Anova satu jalan dengan sel tak sama. Dan alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa nilai hasil praktek Bahasa Inggris dan Quesioner. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan: 1) Dari hasil pengelompokkan data jenjang pendidikan orangtua kelas VIIC SMP Haruniyah sebagian besar termasuk jenjang menengah, 2) Motivasi siswa tergolong sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data angket terlihat tanggapan positif Selalu, Sering, Kadang-kadang dijumlahkan maka didapat 95,7% yang berarti tanggapan positif termasuk kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan untuk tanggapan negatif Jarang dan Tidak Pernah dijumlahkan maka didapat 4,39 % yang artinya tanggapan negatif termasuk dalam kategori kurang. Faktor utama dalam membentuk kepribadian anak adalah keluarga. Dengan rasa kasih sayang nya, orangtua membantu anak dalam pengembangan segi fisik, psikis dan sosial, dan masa depan anak agar mencapai kesuksesan, dan 3) Jenjang pendidikan orangtua tidak mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa terlihat dari hasil uji hipotesis Fobs < Fa atau 0.61 < 3,32 dengan keputusan uji H0 diterima
CUSTOMER VALUE DAN BRAND IMAGE DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP CUSTOMER LOYALITY (Studi Pada Nasabah Perempuan Pada PT. Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera)
Get PDFThis research is motivated by the low access of women in having access to formal finance, including access to insurance financial institutions.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of customer value and brand image on customer loyalty at PT. Sharia Bumiputera Life Insurance in Pontianak City. The method used is an associative method with a quantitative approach. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique in consideration of the respondents chosen are customers who are domiciled in the city of Pontianak and customers of policy holders of the Asuransi Jiwa Syariah BumiputeraCompany in Pontianak Cityand the sample used in this study amounted to 76 customers out of 320 customers. The method of hypothesis testing in this study uses multiple regression analysis. The results of the study that customer value and brand image influence partially or simultaneously on customer loyalty at the Asuransi Jiwa Syariah BumiputeraCompany in Pontianak City.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya akses perempuan dalam memiliki layanan terhadap keuangan formal, termasuk pada akses lembaga keuangan asuransi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh customer valuedan brand image terhadap customer loyalty pada PT. Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera di Kota Pontianak.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dalam pertimbangan responden yang dipilih adalah nasabah yang berdomisili di wilayah Kota Pontianak dan nasabah pemegang polis Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera di Kota Pontianak dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 76 nasabah perempuan dari 320 nasabah.Metode pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda.Hasil penelitian bahwacustomer valuedan brand image berpengaruh secara parsialmaupun secara simultan terhadap customer loyalty pada PT. Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera di Kota Pontianak.

Research methods used an empirical legal research in the disciplines of law to examines the primary data. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, and literature review. The population in this study were judges clerks of the Watampone Religious Court, litigants, and other relevant parties both directly and indirectly participants.
The results of this study indicated that the influence of liquor against the Religious Court Watampone in the divorce rate was a substantial influence, because it gave of greatly affects the family economy, damaging mental, strikes the family, and could be isolated from the family its self. MAHKAMAH SYAR’IYAH DAN WILAYATUL HISBAH SEBAGAI GARDA TERDEPAN DALAM PENEGAKAN QANUN JINAYAT DI ACEH
Get PDFEfektivitas hukum merupakan proses yang bertujuan supaya hukum dapat berlaku efektif. Menserasikan antara apa yang ada di dalam kaidah-kaidah sejumlah peraturan-peraturan terhadap penciptaan, pemeliharaan dan mempertahankan kedamaian dalam pergaulan hidup. Keadaan tersebut dapat di tinjau atas dasar beberapa tolok ukur efektivitas. Menurut Soerjono Soekanto masalah pokok dalam penegakan hukum adalah terletak pada hukumnya sendiri (peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku), penegak hukumnya yakni pihak-pihak yang mengawal penerapan hukum, sarana atau fasilitas yang mendukung penerapan hukum, masyarakat di mana hukum tersebut diberlakukan dan budaya hukum dalam masyarakatnya. Kelima faktor tesebut saling memiliki kaitan yang erat dikarenakan esensi dari penegakan hukum. Kelima faktor tersebut merupakan tolak ukur daripada efektifitas penerapan hukum. Pada artikel ini penulis mencoba menguraikan fungsi lembaga penegak hukum syariat di Aceh yakni Mahkamah Syar’iyah dan Wilayatul Hisbah.
Abstract
Legal effectiveness is a process that aims so that the law can be effective. Synergize between what is in the rules of a number of rules for the creation, maintenance and maintenance of peace in social life. This situation can be reviewed on the basis of several measures of effectiveness. According to Soerjono Soekanto, the main problem in law enforcement is located in its own law (the prevailing laws and regulations), law enforcers, namely those who oversee the application of law, facilities or facilities that support the application of law, the community where the law is applied and legal culture in the community.
