WOMEN LEADERSHIP IN ISLAMIC POLITICAL AND LEGAL PERSPECTIVES
Talking about women’s leadership in politics and Islamic law, there were differences of opinion. In Islamic Sharia, which is comprehensive, elastic, dynamic and flexible, it determines the criteria that must be possessed by a leader, among others, fair, has scientific capacity (world and the hereafter), physical and mental health. When viewed in Indonesia, women are allowed to take part in the political world. Normative women’s leadership has powerful legitimacy, both theologically, philosophically, and legally. However, at the level of reality, there are still many challenges and obstacles, both internally and externally, and the fact that occurs in the community is often not by the above statement, where discrimination and injustice still happen to women. This article will explain some of the problems of women’s leadership both from a political perspective and an Islamic legal perspective. According to the author, it is essential to discuss to provide an overview of the position of women in politics, and how Islamic law views women as leaders, moreover it can provide an understanding of the community how women are placed in politics
GERAKAN WOMEN’S MARCH DAN KEBIJAKAN KESETARAAN GENDER DI INDONESIA; REALITY OR CLAIM?
This study aims to discuss the effect of Women‟s March on gender equality policies in Indonesia in 2017-2018. This article used descriptive-qualitative method and used interview techniques and literature study that are relevant to this research. After conducting research, it can be seen that Women‟s March is a effort that initiated in Washington D.C. This communal movement not single arisen in Washington D.C. then furthermore ensued in numerous countries. In Indonesia, Women‟s March occured in 2017-2018. In this research, it shows that through the Women‟s March involvement by leading protests, lobbying, and numerous other follow-up actions are intelligent to effect the policy of gender equality in Indonesia during 2017-2018
HAK NAFKAH ISTRI YANG BEKERJA MENURUT PANDANGAN KIAI KRAPYAK
Before the existence of Law number 41 of 2004 concerning endowments, Indonesia has a Government Regulation number 28 of 1977 on the ownership of privately owned land, which was subsequently changed by the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) until finally result in Law number 41 of 2004. Along with the development, also develops problems that arise around waqf, one of which is the withdrawal of waqf by waqf heirs. In this study the authors refer to the views of the jurists, namely the views of Imam Malik and Imam Asy-Shafi’i. the research method used is comparative analytic descriptive. From the result of the study indicate that the opinion of Imam Malik waqf property is still in the hands of giver, it means that the recipient of the waqf does not have the rights to the goods or property (waqf) give, because according to him waqf is just a release of benefits. In contrast to the opinion of Imam Shafi’i showing that the property or objects as well as the benefits of the assets that have been represented have been completely separated from wāqif
Partnership Between Educational Institutions Ma'arif NU and Unicef In Building Inclusive Madrasah Program In Central Java
This study aims to describe and analyze an inclusive madrasah program as a form of partnership between the Educational Institutions Ma’arif NU of Central Java and Unicef. This descriptive qualitative study was conducted in Banyumas, Brebes, Kebumen and Semarang Districts. Inclusive Madrasah are carried out not only in schools and madrasah, but also in universities, namely in IAINU Kebumen and UNU Purwokerto, Banyumas. There are obstacles and opportunities for developing inclusive madrasah. Of these obstacles, inclusive madrasah have a great opportunity because have the support of various institution, communities, and even universities
Analysis of Financial Performance towards Islamic Cooperatives Using DuPont System and Sharia Conformity and Profitability Techniques in Pontianak City for the 2014-2017 Periods
Assessing financial performance is needed for companies in order to know the overview of financial condition which reflects work performance in a certain period. Thus, financial performance assessment with DuPont System and Sharia Conformity and Profitability techniques is a technique of assessing financial performance not only from financial performance itself but also the level of sharia compliance towards the sharia cooperative. This research aims to find out: (1) Financial performance of Islamic cooperatives in Pontianak City in the 2014-2017 period based on DuPont System analysis, (2) the performance of sharia compliance of Islamic cooperatives in Pontianak City in the 2014-2017 period using the Shariah Conformity and Profitability (SCnP) Model. The method employed is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection technique used was the documentation technique which is a financial report. The result of this study is different during periods among sharia cooperatives which have good financial performance as well as good sharia compliance and vice versa, some have good financial performance but sharia compliance is not well perform and vice versa
The Development of Model on Field Experience Teaching Practice Program (PPL) Based on Lesson Plan in Islamic Education Study Program(PAI) in Islamic State Institute Pontianak
This study is aimed to develop a model of lesson study for the Teaching Practice Program (PPL) to improve students’ ability in implementing instruction for prospective teachers of Islamic Education Study Program(PAI) at the Islamic State Institute (IAIN) Pontianak.The R D and experimental methods were used and carried out at the PAI in Education and Teacher Training Faculty(FTIK) of the IAIN Pontianak. Data were collected using the inventory, observation sheets, FGD and documentation. Validation of the contents was analyzed by expert judgment, while descriptive and comparative data analysis was conducted using t-test for independent samples. All was done with IBM SPSS 20.This research revealed that the model of lesson study implemented at PPL activities improved teaching ability of prospective teachers of PAI at IAIN Pontianak. In particular, it was found that: (1) characteristics of supervisors, teacher tutors and students significantly determined the success of the model of Lesson Study in the implementation of PPL; (2) the process of implementation of the Lesson Study-based PPL model was developed through steps of plan, do and see; (3) the Lesson Study-based PPL model had an influence on the ability of prospective teachers of PAI IAIN Pontianak to implement instruction. The results of this research recommended that PPL should be conducted with a Lesson Study approach
Village Private Vocational Agency as Economic Empowerment (Islamic) Through Religious Organization (Islam)
This study aims to examine and provide new concepts in the development of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) through religious organizations, especially Islam. BUMDes is one of the economic institutions operating in rural areas that must have differences with economic institutions in general. This is intended so that the existence and performance of BUMDes can contribute significantly to improving the welfare and economic prosperity of the community, the majority of the population of Indonesia are Muslims, so that BUMDes are in accordance with Islamic contracts. The problems that will be discussed in this study are 1. What is the development of Village-Owned Enterprises as Economic Empowerment (sharia) through the current Religious Based Organization (Islam). 2. What is the concept in the development of Village-Owned Business Entities Through Religious (Islamic) Based Organizations. This research method uses a normative juridical system by studying library materials and documents related to the development of BUMDes. This study shows that existing contracts in Islamic economics can be implemented on BUMDes in accordance with laws and regulations. In addition to having strengths and opportunities, this concept also has disadvantages and threats. To realize Islamic economy-based BUMDes this requires an active role and joint commitment from the village government, the community, Fatayat Nahdatul Ulama (NU), Muslimat, and other Islamic organizations that will develop Islamic economics, so that the needs of al-dharuriyah (primary), al-hajiyyah ( secondary), al-thsaniyyah (complementary) in the village
PERAN MAJELIS TAKLIM DALAM PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN DAN PELAKSANAAN IBADAH MASYARAKAT SINDANGSARI SUBANG
This research is entitled "role of mother taklim assembly review on the understanding of worship in daily life in sindangsari village, kasomalang district, subang regency". An investigation to analyze the role of the existing assemblies in Sindangsari village in improving Understanding of Islam and community worship behavior, especially women in Sindangsari village. The method used in this research is qualitative Methods, while data collection includes: in-depth interviews, questionnaires or questionnaires, observations and documentaries Studies. This research is located in Sindangsari Village, Kasomalang District, Subang Regency. The result of this study is that it is known that the assemblies in Sindangsari Village have a role as a non-formal institution in the middle A community that provides considerable support for the development of understanding of the Islamic religion and can at least have a role in increasing understanding and influencing the improvement of worship behavior such as sunnah prayers and understanding of other worship
IMPLEMENTASI NILAI ISLAM MODERAT MELALUI PENDIDIKAN BERBASIS MULTIKULTURAL
Abstract: This article aims to describe and analyze the implementation and implications of moderate Islamic values through multicultural-based education at Baburrohmah Islamic Vocational School. The type of this research, namely qualitative research using a case study approach. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The implementation of moderate Islamic values through multicultural-based education at Baburrohmah Islamic Vocational School, namely: 1) Applying an anti-violence view of life in the invitation of Islam or in learning through the principles of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An-Nahdiyin. 2) Adopting the principles of modern life and all its derivatives such as science and technology, democracy, human rights but also filtering them. 3) using rational thinking in approaching and understanding the source of Islamic teachings through inculcating morals with classical books and their own writings so that they are not liberal. 4) The use of a contextual approach in understanding the sources of Islamic teachings. The implications of implementing moderate Islamic values through multicultural-based education at Baburrohmah Islamic Vocational School, namely the creation of a moderate character in students inside and outside and at the time of taking and at the end of their education at the institution.Keywords: Moderate Islam, Multicultural Education, and Learning Implementation
Solutions of Islamic Lesson Learning in Interest Problem by Using Variety of Teaching Style
This study is based on indications that the level of interest in learning students towards Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects is still low before getting action. Then after it is known that the low interest in learning, then researchers offer solutions with the concept of Teaching Style Variations. Researchers use Class Action Research (PTK) with quantitative approach. As for the data collection techniques in this study, researchers used three techniques, namely observation, questionnaire and docume ntation. Observations used by researchers are observation sheets related to Variations in Teaching Style. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that, The Interest of Learning Grade II Students in Islamic Religious Education Subjects (PAI) before getting action (Through Variations in Teaching Style) is still low, which is 29.75%. But once they get a Variety of Teaching Styles or actions in the first cycle the student's interest level gets better, even the change in the student's increases cyclically, which is 60.25%. Or their interest increase by 30.5%. This shows that with the implementation of Teaching Style Variations are useful to increase the interest in learning
