    METODE DAKWAH USTADZ DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT SHALAT BERJAMAAH PEMUDA DI PASAR ONAN MANDUAMAS

    Islam as a religion which from the mere mention of its name reflects a promise to its adherents in the form of safety, of course in its expansion it requires the participation of da'wah activists. Whether it's called preachers, preachers, scholars, clerics and so on. In introducing Islam, the da'i need the ability to support their da'wah activities so that the message conveyed can be understood and accepted by the recipient of the da'wah (mad'u). Da'wah is one of the obligations of a Muslim. This da'wah is delivered using a method that is in accordance with the conditions of the congregation being preached. In communication science, da'wah methods are often known as approaches, namely the ways in which a preacher or communicator to achieve a certain goal on the basis of wisdom and compassion. The da'wah activities carried out by Ustadz at the Nurul Huda Mosque in Pasar Onan Manduamas village were an increase in community worship, especially in congregational prayers at the mosque. The methods used include the lecture method, discussion method, and the formation of Islamic organizations. This type of research is qualitative focused on the applied da'wah as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors when applying the da'wah method. Data collection techniques through observation (observation), interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the ustad's da'wah method in increasing youth's interest in praying together had two factors, namely the supporting factors and supporting factors for the implementation of the ustad's da'wah method in increasing interest in praying in congregation at the mosque by forming associations through the formation of Islamic organizations such as the GP Organization. Ansor and NU fatayats that directly involve young people and women, while the inhibiting factors for the ustadz's da'wah method in increasing interest in praying together with youth in mosques are the lack of knowledge about religion, especially worship and the influence of the community environment as well as the distance to places of worship which is far enough to make youth and the community less interested to pray in congregation and perform other worship activities in the mosqu

    This article delineates the implementation of the Qur’anic learning in elementary school from parent and teacher perspectives. The study discusses the importance of the teacher and parent role of in learning the Qur’an, especially on how to teach Quran properly. This research aims to find a positive contribution from the role of parents and teachers in improving students’ Quranic recitation process in school.Qualitative method is applied in this research, where data collection derived from interviews, field observations and through documentation studies. As the type of qualitative method, researcher presence in this study is a crucial moment in collecting and analyzing the data. The researcher analyzed it according to qualitative research procedures. The result of the study found that the role of teacher and parent in the realization of the success of a qualified learning activity is very important in order to improve students' learning achievement, increase worship practice (morning prayer). Showing role model by a teacher leads the students to higher achievement results in learning the Qur’an, it is not only being able to read the Qur’an quickly and accurately, but also eventually it can build the students’ noble character by conducting habitual actions. The writer concludes the manuscript with several propositions as the Quranic Learning Program can be effective if the school can involve parents in evaluating the program. Furthermore, the teacher should show exemplary good behavior such as respect, as well as to keep helping students whenever they need. Eventually, this program builds the student’s good behaviors

    ISLAMIC ECONOMICS AND ECONOMIC DISRUPTION: CHALLENGES, MODIFICATIONS, AND TRANSFORMATIONS

    This paper departs from the phenomenon of disruption that has shaken various orders of life, including sharia economics. This paper wants to examine the challenges of the era of disruption to Islamic economics, and how Islamic economics accommodates and modifies to answer these challenges. This is a qualitative research with data, namely related literature on sharia economics and economic disruption. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. This study finds that there are several challenges faced by Islamic economics, including: legal rules are not yet complex, human resources are not optimal, transaction processing adjustments, lack of research, not optimal government support and low education and socialization of sharia economy. So it is necessary to strengthen the sharia economy at the practical and normative level. The flexibility and basic values of sharia economic law which contain material and spiritual spirit need to be implemented properly. The existence of Islamic Financial Institutions also needs to be maximized to improve the people's economy in the era of disruption

    This research aims to explain about how new media became a social inequality factor that portrayed the market trading system in social phenomena. The emergence of new media in the community give the indirect fragmentation for the perpetrators of the deaf (Commercial Sex Workers). Based on the evidence obtained directly said that the current intensity of the role of Commercial Sex Workers people over the age of 40 years more favored by users from the lower middle class such as drivers and students. This is solely because the tariff installed by the workers of the participants over 40 years tends to be more accessible than the aged under 40 years. This phenomenon occurs after the advancement of technology that increasingly facilitate the community, especially the CSW under the age of 40 to take advantage of more opportunities by raising their rates for more capital in terms of beauty with purchase all kinds of fashion and brand-quality body care equipment through an online marketplace that can be easily accessed. This anomaly became interesting to be further researched about the impact that is, the emergence of new markets created due to new opportunities filled by the CSW over 40 years where they are more interested by users among the lower middle classes. This phenomenon shows the existence of social inequality which is influenced by social phenomena due to the rapid development of new media which also results in the poor image of Islam adopted by prostitutes

    Studying Islam is not enough just by studying it in bits and pieces. Islam can also be used as a scientific study with a note that it is studied in a completely and comprehensively appropriate approach or way. One approach that can be used in studying and understanding Islam is a rational-scientific approach. In this qualitative research, the author uses a literature review by taking from various reference sources that focus on discussing Islamic Studies from a rational and scientific point of view. The findings of this research believe that the rational point of view supports the function of reason in reasoning and helps solve existing problems. Likewise with the scientific point of view which is a positive integration between different perspectives, none other than the two perspectives above can benefit Islam's turn as a religion that contains values, teachings, principles, norms of life that are humane. and universal can be understood properly and correctly. The spirit to think is also supported by the teachings of Islam itself. This can be seen how the various styles of Al-Qur'an language to describe thinking activities and not monotonous. According to Ian Barbour, there are four approaches to conflict, independence, dialogue and integration. The method used is divided into four stages, namely observing a phenomenon, formulating tentative explanations, further observing and experimenting, refining and retesting explanations

    Konstruksi Gender Dalam Tafsir Marah Labid Karya Imam Nawawi Al-Bantani

    This article discusses gender construction in the Marah Labid by Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani al-Jawi. In addition, it also discusses how the correlation between culture and society in which Nawawi al-Bantani lives with the product of interpretation is produced, so that it can be seen clearly the logical reasons and historical influences of Nawawi in interpreting the Qur'an. Then at the end, the interpretation of gender bias - if any - that can lead to injustice and discrimination will be eliminated. This study is interesting to do, because no one has examined gender construction in this book which is actually produced by the Indonesian Scholar and used as one of the sources of learning of Islamic teachings in Indonesia

    LGBT and Religious Negotiations: A Case Study of Youth Interfaith Forum on Sexuality (Yifos)

    Most religious perspectives, particularly the conservative interpretation, emphasize the incompatibility of being a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender (LGBT) and being religious. This contradiction creates internal conflicts for many LGBT individuals. In social and political spheres, many religious groups post hostility and rejection against the LGBT using the justification of their religious dogma. The position of the LGBT has been more vulnerable since the reformation period (1998 to present) in Indonesia, during which Islamic conservatism is rising. Therefore, LGBT individuals perceive themselves as condemned and excluded from religious communities. Nevertheless, the existing LGBT communities and organizations focus more on campaigning social acceptance and public recognition through a human rights perspective. This research employs a qualitative method and addresses the Youth Interfaith Forum of Sexuality (YIFoS) in providing a ‘safe space’ for the LGBT in negotiating their non-normative sexuality and religious values. Taking a case study of YIFoS, I argue that LGBT could also embrace their religiosity. Through the concept of ‘liberation of the body and alternative religious interpretations, YIFoS believes that LGBT sexuality could be reconciled with religion.  This research is divided into two parts. First is how YIFoS provide a way of reconciling of non-normative sexuality of LGBT and religion. Second is what approach is employed by YIFoS in helping LGBT individuals negotiate their non-normative sexuality and religious values. My findings demonstrate that the YIFoS applies the concept of ‘experience of the body as the main departure of liberation and employs an interfaith approach by inviting religious figures whose interpretations are more accommodative toward LGBT. The interfaith approach is aimed at building commonality on LGBT within religious communities. In addition, these two approaches are used to help LGBT individuals to stimulate self-acceptance and personal reconciliation between one’s religious values and their non-normative sexuality

    Development of Local Content Curriculum Based on Pesantren Tahfīẓ in Mts. Al-Fathimiyah Banjarwati

    MTs. Al-Fathimiyah is one of the madrasas in the north coast area of Lamongan which since its establishment has focused on the development of tahfīẓ al-Qur’ān. This research aims to describe the implementation concept of madrasah-based pesantren tahfīẓ and analyzing curriculum development management in MTs. Al-Fathimiyah. This research is descriptive-qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The analysis of curriculum development research uses the Hilda Taba concept which consists of 1). Producing experimental units; 2). Testing of experimental units; 3). Revision and consolidation; 4). Development of a curriculum framework; 5). Implementation and dissemination. The results of the study provide conclusions: 1). MTs. Al-Fathimiyah is a madrasah based pesantren that integrates the Ministry of Religion curriculum with the pesantren curriculum. Whereas in the management of students, MTs. Al-Fathimiyah implemented boarding student management; 2). The concept of curriculum development in MTs. Al-Fathimiyah focused on developing tahfīẓ al-quran which is integrated with the pesantren curriculum. The development model uses an inductive model so that it is more open to the process of improvement and improvement every year

    THE EFFECT OF INFLATION AND INTEREST RATE ON PROFITABILITY FOR SHARIA BANKING RESULTS

    This study was conducted to examine the effect of the inflation variable on the profitability of Islamic banking profit sharing in Indonesia, as well as to test whether there is an asymmetric effect of inflation and interest rate variables on the profitability of Islamic banking profit sharing in Indonesia, the study was conducted using agency theory, portfolio selection and policy. monetary. This study uses a quantitative method, the regression tool used is the Non-linear Autoregressive Lag Model (NARDL) using the Eviews 10 data processing tool, the sample of this study is Islamic banking registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), with an observation period from 2014 -2020. The results of this study indicate that inflation and interest rate variables have an asymmetric relationship to the profitability of Islamic banking in Indonesia, namely when inflation and interest rates rise, the effect is smaller than when inflation and interest rates fallKeywords: Profitability, Asymmetric, Inflation, Interest Rate, NARD

    A Netnography Analysis of Thematic ­Hadith Memes Distribution on ­­ Social Media

    Instead, the use of hadith memes among Muslim communities is rampant, and the study of hadith memes is scarce. This study, therefore, aims to examine the use of hadith memes by millennial Ulama and the types and content of hadith memes disseminated and exchanged in the virtual world by millennial Ulama. This study built thematic hadith memes based on their contents and formats on social media platforms using Rajan's (2015) theory of religious memes. This study employed a netnography method, collecting data from the social media sites Facebook and WhatsApp of Islamic millennial Ulama. We used a thematic approach in analyzing the data. Our results show that hadith memes disseminated on social media sites fall into four themes. The first theme is prayer hadith memes that present the traditions of prayers in Islam. The second theme is hadith memes related to sacrifice, which depict messages of Muslims' willingness to practice gratitude and to sacrifice to do things according to Allah's will. The third theme of the hadith memes is that they present messages about the afterlife, which tells about the end of life, such as life in the grave, hell, and heaven. The last theme is hadith memes about tolerance, which tell about the importance of living in tolerance and respecting each other. We conclude that our study contributed to understanding the distribution of hadith meme themes in the virtual world to enhance the sharing and exchange of Islamic teachings
