    PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM MEMBERIKAN LITERASI AGAMA PADA ANAK MELALUI DAKWAH DI LINGKUNGAN KELUARGA

    This study aims to identify the role of parents in providing religious literacy to children through da'wah in the family environment. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study indicate that the role of parents is very important in providing religious literacy to children, especially in the family environment. Parents play an important role in providing religious literacy because parents are the first madrasah for children, moreover religious literacy covers moral and ethical values which will guide children in the future. The impact if parents are successful in providing religious literacy to children, the majority of informants said that if parents are successful in providing religious literacy, children will have good character, which children will also be easily directed, children will not easily fall into negative things. It cannot be denied that the influence in the current era is enormous. With the application of religious literacy, children are not easily affected by a bad environment. Religious literacy can also study daily life. Children will also understand and live life according to religious values and principles. Religious literacy is also a way of cultivating children's character. In which religious literacy has a role in forming the character of a person. Parents must also be able to utilize technological media such as mobile phones, reading media and other things that are also an effective method of providing religious understanding. In providing religious literacy, parents must also build good communication forums with children and also provide a comfortable and safe space for children. Because in fostering children's interest in studying religion, parents must be able to understand the nature, character and interests of children first, so that can reduce the failure of parents in providing religious literacy

    Acculturation of Religion and Culture Within Muslim Sundanese Society in West Java

    This article explores the acculturation of culture and religion, focusing on the interaction between Islam and Sundanese culture in West Java, Indonesia. Early Islamic preachers employed accommodating strategies, integrating pre-existing cultural elements, which led to the development of a unique form of Islam in the region. The purpose of this article is to examine and highlight the ways in which Islam has blended with Sundanese culture in West Java. The study utilized a qualitative research approach, combining field research with data from both primary sources (observations and interviews) and secondary sources, such as books, scholarly articles, research reports, and other relevant materials. The data were displayed in a narrative-descriptive format and analyzed using the qualitative data analysis techniques including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the long-standing process of acculturation between Islam and Sundanese culture in West Java has produced a distinct Sundanese culture influenced by Islamic principles. This is evident in elements such as the wawacan texts, which contain Islamic teachings, the prevalence of Islamic boarding schools, the practice of Islamic mysticism (Sufism-Tariqa), and the unique Islamic-Sundanese architectural style. The widespread acceptance of Islamic teachings among the Sundanese has led to the incorporation of these principles and traditions into Sundanese society, aligning them closely with Islamic values

    Tradisi Narup Pada Masyarakat Melayu Sambas Perspektif Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Islam

    People consider that tradition is a crucial thing because it has a meaning that has been passed down from previous generations and is still carried out today. One of the traditions that becomes a focus is Narup tradition in the marriages of the Malay community in Sambas, Indonesia. The purpose of this article is to understand the values of Islamic education contained in the Narup Tradition. The research methods used interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results showed that Narup Tradition is a Malay community custom in weddings, which involves the Walimatul Ursy Council with traditional events such as reading Zikir Nazam and Zikir Al-barzanji at a location that is called as Tarup. The process of implementing the Narup tradition includes some steps such as land preparation, building Tarup, welcoming remarks, Serakalan, Prayer, eating Saprahan, and tearing down Tarup. From the perspective of Islamic educational values, there are values such as musawwah, deliberation, sincerity, trust, mutual cooperation, caring, responsibility, honesty, and discipline

    The Effectiveness of E-Learning in English Language Teaching for Islamic Education Students: Research and Development Stages in the ADDIE Model in Islamic Higher Education

    This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using E-Learning in English language Teaching for Islamic Education Students at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Pontianak. The use of information and communication technology, particularly E-Learning, has become increasingly important in efforts to enhance the quality of education in higher education, including in English language instruction. This research employs a Research and Development (RD) methodology with the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The findings suggest that the development of E-Learning-based instructional materials has the potential to increase students' motivation, enrich learning resources, and facilitate more effective interaction between lecturers and students, both in face-to-face and non-face-to-face settings. However, the evaluation results indicate that while the instructional materials are relevant to the learning needs and show potential for improving students' understanding and English language skills, the overall effectiveness needs further validation. Data from the evaluation section shows that certain aspects of the materials, particularly in terms of user-friendliness and long-term engagement, require improvement to fully achieve the desired learning outcomes. Therefore, while this research contributes to the improvement of English language teaching for Islamic Education Students at IAIN Pontianak, the results should be interpreted with caution, and further refinement of the materials is necessary.  utilizing E-Learning, learning can become more flexible and accessible anytime and anywhere, thus supporting the achievement of students' competencies more optimally, provided that the materials undergo further development based on the feedback from evaluations

    Religious Education for Indigenous Communities and Kepercayaan Adherents in Indonesia

    Since its establishment in 2016, the Indonesian government has conducted Pendidikan Kepercayaan (Belief Education) as religious education for indigenous communities and kepercayaan (belief) adherents in Indonesia. Various studies affirm that kepercayaan Education is the Indonesian government's way of eliminating discrimination against indigenous communities and kepercayaan adherents in the educational sphere. Other research on kepercayaan Education targets the challenges of implementation in the school context. This work attempts to examine the interconnectedness of kepercayaan education and the education of indigenous religions and kepercayaan adherents within the community context. The underlying question is does belief education represent the education of indigenous religions within communities? How does the education of indigenous religions in the community context contribute to and be included in the development of kepercayaan education? As a theoretical framework, I employ the concept of indigenization that has developed in the discourse of indigenous education in Canada. The method used in this research is a literature study. The results of this study indicate that belief education does not represent the education of indigenous religions and kepercayaan adherents within the community realm. Kepercayaan education is a service designed unilaterally by the state without recognizing and respecting the diversity and educational needs of indigenous communities in Indonesia. As an alternative, I propose a reconciliation and collaboration-based indigenization approach as a new framework for reconstructing kepercayaan education. The path of reconciliation and collaboration provides a space for children of indigenous communities to achieve the national educational aspiration of learning and practicing the teachings of their 'religion' in accordance with the educational model of their respective communities

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelami bentuk-bentuk komunikasi budaya hegemonik pemodal kapitalis yang dipegang para tauke nelayan tradisional di desa-desa sepanjang pesisir Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Peran tauke yang dengan keleluasaan modal telah “membius” nelayan tradisional hingga “takluk” menjadi ‘alat’ dalam merengkuh penguasaan hidup, sekaligus dominasi hasil-hasil melaut, ternyata disikapi baik oleh keperkasaan perempuan pesisir dengan memanfaatkan kebaikan pemodal kapitalis untuk membangun berbagai industri pengolahan hasil laut. Penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif ini dimaksudkan dalam rangka mengurai fakta sosial tentang hegemoni kapitalis pemodal kapitalis yang secara sosial – ekonomi. Ruang komunikasi perempuan pesisir yang lebih efektif kepada pemodal kapitalis ternyata sangat ampuh dalam membangun kemitraan atas potensi hasil perikanan tangkap.     The purpose of this research is to find out and identify opportunities and challenge Ustadz Hanan Attaki's preaching through Youtube media. The results of the research found by researchers, namely that there are several opportunities and challenges for preaching carried out by Ustadz Hanan Attaki, especially through Youtube media, the opportunities include : 1.) Become popular and liked by teenagers, 2.) Become multimedia content, 3.) Become a source of inspiration and knowledge for many people. Besides that, the challenges that Ustadz Hanan Attaki must face are: 1.) There are many different opinions and understandings in society. 2.) Slander and attacks on Ustadz Hanan Attaki with false accusations or defamation of his name. This research also explains about da'wah media, as it is currently still widespread da'wah using mass media.     Pengembangan E-LKPD Fikih Berbasis CTL pada Materi Wudhu Menggunakan Platform Wizer.Me di Madrasah Tsanawiyah

    This research is motivated by the learning of fiqh, which is one of the subjects taught at madrasah tsanawiyah, this is part of Islamic religious learning which aims to direct and lead students to the right path and in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic religion. This research aims to develop a CTL-based Fiqh E-LKPD on ablution material using the wizer.me platform at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The research method used is research and development (RD). Meanwhile, the development model used is the ADDIE development model. The average percentage result of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based fiqh ELKPD validation is 85.83% with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the percentage of class VII A assessments completed by 6 students on CTL based E-LKPD obtained a score of 89.33% in the very practical category, coupled with the results of the teacher response questionnaire which obtained 85% in the very practical category. In other words, the CTL based Fiqh ELKPD developed can be used in class VII Fiqh learning at MTs Thawalib Gunung Padang Panjang

    This article discusses the characteristics and nature of the fatwa of Sharia Economic Law in depth by discussing the solution to bad credit issued by the DSN-MUI. The need of the Muslim community for legal equivalence in economic transactions has led the Indonesian Ulema Council to formulate a special institution to jointly sharia the economy of the community and socialise the Islamic economy. This is proof that the conventional economy cannot fulfil the expectations of Muslims to be able to practice sharia in a kaffah manner in various aspects of life. The establishment of the National Sharia Council (DSN) as a special institution that focuses on issuing fatwas on Islamic economic law is a motivation for Muslims in transactions, fatwas based on the Qur'an sunnah and ijtihad of scholars are milestones that distinguish Islamic economic transactions and conventional economics. The role of world scholars in seeing the rules of a country is a scientific contribution, especially from the fatwa issued as a solution to bad credit. The majority of scholars oppose the fatwa because it is considered no different from usury jahiliyah. This research uses a descriptive analysis approach sourced from literature studies

    AL-QALB, AL-FU'AD, AL-'AQL AND AL-NASIYAH IN THE QUR'AN (Exploring Meaning in Spiritual and Neurological Contexts)

    This article explores the spiritual and neurological concepts related to the terms al-qalb, al-fu’ad, al-‘aql, and al-nasiyah in the Qur'an and modern science. Al-qalb and al-fu’ad refer to centers of feeling and intuition in Islamic tradition, where al-qalb is often associated with the spiritual and emotional core of a person, while al-fu’ad focuses more on inner aspects and depth of understanding. The concept of al-‘aql pertains to intellect or reason, encompassing the ability to discern, comprehend, and make wise decisions. Al-nasiyah, on the other hand, refers to the prefrontal cortex of the brain, which is responsible for behavioral control and decision-making. By comparing the meanings of these terms in the Qur'anic context with contemporary scientific findings, this article aims to demonstrate the alignment between spiritual perspectives and neurological knowledge regarding the functions and impacts of various centers of thought and feeling in humans. This analysis reveals how the metaphorical and literal meanings of these terms complement each other in a holistic understanding of the human soul and mind.
