    SIKAP ULAMA TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN CRYPTOCURRENCY DALAM MUAMALAH MODERN

    Advances in digital technology have brought about major changes in the economic system, one of which is the emergence of cryptocurrency as a form of digital asset that is increasingly being used in transactions and investment activities. This development has elicited various responses among scholars, particularly regarding the legal status of cryptocurrency use in contemporary muamalah practices. This article aims to examine the views of Islamic scholars on cryptocurrency and the fiqh arguments used in assessing its compatibility with Islamic legal principles. This research is positioned as a normative study with a qualitative approach that focuses on the analysis of Islamic law through the examination of Islamic literature and applicable regulations. The research method used is a literature study by collecting and analysing various primary sources, such as the Qur'an, hadith, and fiqh books, as well as secondary sources in the form of scientific journals, fatwas from scholars, and laws and regulations related to crypto assets in Indonesia. The discussion was conducted by describing the differences in opinion among scholars regarding the nature of cryptocurrency, both those who consider it as valuable property that can be utilised in a sharia-compliant manner and those who assess that this asset contains elements of uncertainty and speculation that have the potential to violate the principles of muamalah. In addition, this article also discusses the role of state regulation and its relevance to sharia values, as well as placing maqashid sharia as an evaluative framework for assessing the benefits and potential losses of using cryptocurrency. The results of the study show that differences in opinion among scholars focus more on the patterns of use and transaction mechanisms of cryptocurrency, rather than solely on the form of the asset itself. Therefore, its use can be considered as long as it complies with the principle of prudence and does not conflict with the main objectives of Sharia.Keyword: cryptocurrency, contemporary muamalah, Islamic law, scholars' views, maqashid shariaKemajuan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan besar dalam sistem ekonomi, salah satunya dengan hadirnya cryptocurrency sebagai bentuk aset digital yang semakin banyak dimanfaatkan dalam transaksi dan kegiatan investasi. Perkembangan ini memunculkan beragam respons di kalangan ulama, khususnya terkait penentuan status hukum penggunaan cryptocurrency dalam praktik muamalah kontemporer. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pandangan ulama terhadap cryptocurrency serta dasar argumentasi fikih yang digunakan dalam menilai kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam. Penelitian ini diposisikan sebagai kajian normatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang menitikberatkan pada analisis hukum Islam melalui penelaahan literatur keislaman dan regulasi yang berlaku. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menghimpun dan menganalisis berbagai sumber primer, seperti Al-Qur’an, hadis, dan kitab fikih, serta sumber sekunder berupa jurnal ilmiah, fatwa ulama, dan peraturan perundang-undangan terkait aset kripto di Indonesia. Pembahasan dilakukan dengan menguraikan perbedaan pendapat ulama mengenai hakikat cryptocurrency, baik yang menganggapnya sebagai harta bernilai yang dapat dimanfaatkan secara syar‘i maupun yang menilai bahwa aset tersebut mengandung unsur ketidakpastian dan spekulasi yang berpotensi melanggar prinsip muamalah. Selain itu, artikel ini juga membahas peran regulasi negara dan relevansinya dengan nilai-nilai syariah, serta menempatkan maqashid syariah sebagai kerangka evaluatif untuk menilai aspek kemaslahatan dan potensi kerugian dari penggunaan cryptocurrency. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan pandangan ulama lebih berfokus pada pola pemanfaatan dan mekanisme transaksi cryptocurrency, bukan semata-mata pada bentuk asetnya, sehingga penggunaannya dapat dipertimbangkan sepanjang memenuhi prinsip kehati-hatian dan tidak bertentangan dengan tujuan utama syariah.     Fostering Civic Engagement Through Heroes’ History in MI Grade 5

    This research aims to describe the role of learning about the historical struggle of heroes in developing civic engagement among 5th grade Elementary Madrasah (MI) students through an inquiry approach that integrates STEM-R (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Religion). The method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of reflection tasks and Student Work Sheets (LKPD). The results show that the integration of STEM-R into history learning enhances students' understanding of heroes’ struggles and nurtures values such as of courage, sacrifice, mutual assistance, and steadfast faith which are applicable in daily life. Students become more active, creative, and motivated in their learning and demonstrate civic engagement through real-life action. Although differences in comprehension levels remain, this approach significantly contributes to character building The findings imply thst STEM-R and inquiry-and inquiry-based learning not only improve content mastery but also serve as effective frameworks  for value education in primary schools. Practically, educator are encouraged to adopt STEM-R strategies to foster civic awareness and student participation beyond the classroom. Further implementation should include personalized support to ensure all learners internalize heroic values meaningfully.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran pembelajaran sejarah perjuangan pahlawan dalam mengembangkan civic engagement pada siswa kelas 5 MI melalui pendekatan inkuiri yang mengintegrasikan STEM-R (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Religion). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, serta analisis tugas refleksi dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi STEM-R dalam pembelajaran sejarah mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi perjuangan pahlawan serta menumbuhkan nilai-nilai keberanian, pengorbanan, gotong royong, dan keteguhan iman yang diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, kreatif, dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dan melakukan aksi nyata yang mencerminkan civic engagement. Meskipun terdapat perbedaan tingkat pemahaman di antara siswa, pendekatan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam membangun karakter dan keterlibatan sosial. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri dan STEM-R secara berkelanjutan serta pendekatan personal untuk mendukung semua siswa menginternalisasi nilai-nilai perjuangan pahlawan

    The Theology of The Body as A Pastoral Approach to Preventing Juvenile Delinquency

    Theology of the Body is a theological and philosophical reflection that seeks to help adolescents understand their identity as human persons created in the image and likeness of God. This study aims to examine the Theology of the Body and deepen understanding of the meaning of the human body and the value of human dignity in adolescent life, based on the teachings of Pope John Paul II. The method used is library research, involving the collection of relevant literature, critical reading, and the analysis of academic sources. The findings suggest that a comprehensive understanding of the Theology of the Body can foster a greater respect for the dignity of the human person and an increased awareness of the purpose of creation. In practical terms, these insights may be applied through character education programs rooted in the spirituality of the body within Catholic schools, pastoral accompaniment for adolescents that emphasizes the body as a gift, and the development of catechetical modules that integrate Theology of the Body with contemporary issues such as pornography, premarital sex, and identity crises. The scholarly contribution of this study lies in its formation of a theoretical framework that supports further development in the fields of theology, philosophy, and moral education for youth. Moreover, this study provides space for interdisciplinary dialogue between theology and the social sciences in addressing the complexity of juvenile delinquency in a more holistic and contextualized manner

    SYNTHESIS OF CHARACTER BUILDING MODELS THROUGH ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CURRICULUM: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

    This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) investigates PAI curriculum alignment with national character development goals. PAI implementation struggles to adapt to 21st-century digital competence demands, forming the main gap. Utilizing an SLR protocol, articles (2020–2025) were analyzed to synthesize curriculum dynamics and relevance gaps. Findings confirm a critical disjunction between PAI’s spiritual objectives and digital skills necessity. The primary contribution is the Synthesis of a novel Character Building Model, integrating PAI values with competence-based learning frameworks, offering practical guidance for policymakers and educators

    The Role of the Traditional Game Congklak as a Medium for Character Education Based on Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin Values of Students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah

    Indonesia is facing a moral crisis that contrasts sharply with the rapid advancement of technology. One way to cultivate character values from an early age is by utilizing congkak as the traditional game. This study explores the role of congklak in shaping rahmatan lil ‘alamin character values among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with field-based study methods to examine the role of the traditional game congklak in character formation aligned with the rahmatan lil ‘alamin student profile at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah, South Tangerang. The data were examined using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model combined with source triangulation techniques, resulting in a theoretical insight into the effectiveness of congklak as a tool for character education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah. The findings highlight that congklak holds a significant role in supporting character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah by fostering students' moral, cultural, and social attitudes. In addition to develop cognitive skills such as arithmetic and strategic thinking, this game also helps students cultivate fairness (i‘tidāl), proper manners (ta’addub), and innovative thinking dynamics (tatḥawwur wa ibtikār). The integration of congklak into school learning aligns with the Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin values of the student profile, which balances intellectual, emotional, and social intelligence to shape a generation with noble character and cultural awareness.Indonesia menghadapi krisis akhlak yang berbanding terbalik dengan pesatnya kemajuan teknologi. Salah satu upaya menanamkan karakter sejak dini adalah dengan permainan tradisional congklak. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran congklak pada pembentukan karakter rahmatan lil alamin pada siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan arah pendekatan kualitatif secara deskriptif berbasis penelitian lapangan untuk mengetahui peran permainan tradisional congklak dalam pembentukan karakter yang selaras dengan profil peserta didik rahmatan lil alamin di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah Tangerang Selatan. Data dianalisis dengan model Miles, Huberman, Saldana serta teknik triangulasi sumber, sehingga menghasilkan pemahaman teoritis tentang efektivitas permainan congklak sebagai instrumen pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah. Hasil penelitian menggarisbawahi bahwa permainan congklak memiliki posisi penting dalam menyokong pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dengan menumbuhkan sikap moral, budaya, dan sosial dari peserta didik. Selain melatih keterampilan kognitif seperti berhitung dan berpikir strategis, permainan ini juga membantu siswa mengembangkan sikap adil (i’tidal), adab yang bagus (ta’addub), juga berpikir dengan dinamika yang inovatif (tathawwur wa ibtikar). Implementasi congklak dalam pembelajaran di madrasah selaras dengan konsep profil pelajar Rahmatan Lil Alamin, yang menyeimbangkan kecerdasan intelektual, emosional, dan sosial untuk membentuk generasi berakhlak mulia dan berwawasan budaya

    Harnessing Social Media for Religious Peacebuilding: Faith in the Digital Age

    This study explores social media’s potential as a tool for religious peacebuilding, focusing on its capacity to foster harmony through faith-based values in a digitally connected world. With 5.24 billion users globally and 90.8 million in the Philippines, where religion shapes cultural identity, social media offers unprecedented opportunities to connect faith communities, amplify sacred narratives, mobilize action, and educate for peace. Drawing on global and Philippine examples, we examine how platforms like Facebook, X, and TikTok channel religious teachings to promote reconciliation, while addressing challenges like polarization, misinformation, hostility, and slacktivism. Historical narratives, including Hong Kong’s Yellow Umbrella Movement and the Philippines’ #FaithForTruth campaign, illustrate faith’s role in digital peacebuilding. Eight strategies, grounded in religious ethics, propose harnessing social media’s strengths: global reach, real-time engagement, education, and community-building to counter division. By embedding values like forgiveness and truth, religion transforms social media into a sacred space for peace, offering a model for conflict-affected regions like Mindanao

    Komunikasi Dakwah (Studi atas Stereotip dan Prasangka dalam Konflik Komunikasi Etnis Lembak dan Jawa di Desa Durian Mas Rejang Lebong)

    This study investigates stereotypes and prejudices that exist among the Lembak and Javanese communities in Durian Mas Village, Rejang Lebong, using a qualitative approach. This research focuses on a deep understanding of how the peoples of these two tribes describe and perceive each other. This research method involves in-depth interviews with members of the Lembak and Javanese communities, as well as participatory observations to understand the social and cultural context in Durian Mas Village. The results of the study revealed various stereotypes spread in society. Stereotypes held by the Lembak people towards the Javanese include their image as quiet, gullible, firm, not straightforward, gentle, cunning, calm, possessing tribalism, forgiving, harboring feelings, being laundering, and hesitant. Conversely, stereotypes shared by Javanese people towards the Lembak Tribe include their views as responsible, lazy, strong religious, unwilling to take risks, polite, sarcastic, friendly, talkative, confident, unwilling to compete, highly motivated, unwilling to do much, and often envious of successful people. [Penelitian ini menginvestigasi stereotip dan prasangka yang ada di antara masyarakat Suku Lembak dan Suku Jawa di Desa Durian Mas, Rejang Lebong, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana masyarakat kedua suku ini saling menggambarkan dan mempersepsikan satu sama lain. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan anggota masyarakat Suku Lembak dan Suku Jawa, serta observasi partisipatif untuk memahami konteks sosial dan budaya di Desa Durian Mas. Hasil penelitian mengungkap berbagai stereotip yang tersebar di masyarakat. Stereotip yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Suku Lembak terhadap Suku Jawa mencakup gambaran mereka sebagai pendiam, gampang ditipu, tegas, tidak terus terang, lembut, licik, tenang, memiliki sikap sukuisme, pemaaf, menyimpan perasaan, pengalah, dan sungkan. Sebaliknya, stereotip yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Suku Jawa terhadap Suku Lembak mencakup pandangan mereka sebagai bertanggung jawab, pemalas, kuat beragama, tidak mau ambil risiko, santun, suka menyindir, ramah, banyak bicara, percaya diri, tidak mau bersaing, memiliki motivasi tinggi, tidak mau berbuat banyak, dan seringkali iri kepada orang yang sukses]

    Dakwah Konstitusional Muhammadiyah: Antara Ideologi Islam Berkemajuan dan Komitmen Kebangsaan di Era Post Truth

    As an Islamic movement, Muhammadiyah not only focuses on religious aspects, but also plays an active role in political and legal developments in Indonesia. This role is manifested in constitutional da'wah. This article aims to examine Muhammadiyah's constitutional da'wah strategy in responding to challenges in the post-truth era. In addition, this article also explains Muhammadiyah's efforts in maintaining a balance between Islamic values and the spirit of nationalism. This research is qualitative-descriptive with a library research approach by examining various relevant primary and secondary sources. Some of these sources include official documents of Muhammadiyah, decisions of the Constitutional Court, books, scientific journals, and credible online media. The results of this study show that 1) Muhammadiyah has shown its role in constitutional da'wah on the dynamics of law in Indonesia; 2) Muhammadiyah coordinates the Progressive Islamic Ideology and National Commitment in service to the Nation; and 3) Muhammadiyah faces the challenges of the post-truth era by prioritizing the main strategy of constitutional da'wah through strengthening literacy, continuous education, community empowerment, and optimization of social media in strengthening public opinion based on objective facts. The academic implication of this research is the formation of a conceptual framework for the constitutional da'wah approach in an effort to strengthen ideology and strengthen national commitment in the post-truth era

    TINJAUAN MAQASID HUKUM PERKAWINAN ISLAM TERHADAP SYARAT POLIGAMI DALAM KOMPILASI HUKUM ISLAM DI INDONESIA

    Polygamy in the history of Islamic civilization represents one of the most crucial issues in sexual relations and continues to attract attention among Islamic scholars, particularly feminist thinkers. The debate surrounding polygamy is not only related to textual interpretation but also to its social implications and questions of gender justice, which have prompted Muslim-majority countries, including Indonesia, to establish specific regulations. In Indonesia, polygamy is regulated under Law Number 1 of 1974 on Marriage, Government Regulation Number 9 of 1975, and more comprehensively within the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). The KHI outlines several conditions that must be fulfilled, including court authorization, the consent of the existing wife, and the husband’s ability to ensure financial support and justice. This study aims to examine the conformity of these requirements with the maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah in the domain of family law, namely the objectives of Islamic law oriented toward justice and public welfare (maṣlaḥah). The research employs a library-based method by analyzing the regulation of polygamy in Indonesian marriage law and comparing it with the principles of the maqāṣid of Islamic marriage law. The findings indicate that the regulation of polygamy in the KHI encompasses the overall objectives of Islamic marriage law as articulated by Jamaluddin Athiyah. These objectives include maintaining harmonious relations between men and women, safeguarding and preserving lineage, fostering families built on sakīnah (tranquility), mawaddah (affection), and raḥmah (compassion), ensuring the clarity of descent, strengthening religiosity within the family, regulating harmonious familial relations, and guaranteeing financial stability. Thus, the stipulations regarding polygamy in the KHI are not designed to promote the practice widely, but rather serve as a restrictive mechanism intended to protect welfare and prevent harm within the institution of marriage

    Morals and Manners Education for Children Aged 7-12 Years at TPQ Masjid An Nahl Ciangsana Bogor

    Islamic Education involves a deliberate and structured approach that aims to equip students with the ability to recognize, understand, appreciate, believe, commit, and embody noble behaviors in accordance with the Qur'an and Hadith. Children are a gift from Allah Swt. and their essence is priceless to those who educate them. When positive values are nurtured since young age, they will develop into good individuals and find happiness both in this world and the hereafter. This research seeks to explore aspects of morals and manners education for children aged 7 to 12 years. This research was conducted by looking at the practice of morals and manners education from various previous research literature, as well as in the context of the TPQ Masjid An Nahl Ciangsana Bogor. Using a qualitative research approach that emphasizes descriptive analysis, this study collected data through literature review and field research, including interviews. The findings show that moral education is very important especially for children of tamyiz or before baligh age. By implementing four manners, namely the manners of studying, the manners of worship in the mosque, the manners of eating and drinking and the manners of making friends, it is hoped that the students will become pious and have good morals.Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah upaya sadar dan terencana dalam menyiapkan peserta didik untuk mengenal, memahami, menghayati, mengimani, bertaqwa, dan berakhlak mulia dalam mengamalkan ajaran agama Islam melalui kegiatan bimbingan, pengajaran, latihan, serta penggunaan pengalaman. Anak adalah anugerah dari Allah Swt. yang tak ternilai harganya bagi mereka yang mendidiknya. Ketika nilai-nilai positif dipupuk dalam diri mereka sejak dini, mereka akan tumbuh menjadi individu yang baik dan menemukan kebahagiaan baik di dunia maupun di akhirat. Penelitian ini berusaha menggali aspek-aspek pendidikan moral dan budi pekerti bagi anak usia 7 hingga 12 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melihat praktik pendidikan akhlak dan adab dari berbagai literatur penelitian terdahulu, serta dalam konteks TPQ Masjid An Nahl Ciangsana Bogor. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif yang menekankan pada analisis deskriptif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui studi literatur dan penelitian lapangan, termasuk wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan akhlak sangat penting terutama bagi anak usia tamyiz atau pra baligh. Dengan menerapkan empat adab yaitu adab belajar, adab beribadah di masjid, adab makan dan minum serta adab berteman, diharapkan para santri menjadi anak yang shaleh dan berakhlakul karimah
