Eksplorasi Etnomatematika Pada Alame Panyabungan Sebagai Makanan Khas

Mathematics is a universal science that supports the development of modern technology in various fields of science and encourages the development of human thinking. However, many students find mathematics difficult, and this view is often passed down from one generation to the next. Mathematics learning is often closely related to traditional educational processes, which ignore cultural context. Ethnomathematics exists as an approach that utilizes culture in learning mathematics. This research aims to explore the mathematical concepts contained in the typical food, Alame Padangsidimpuan. This research method uses an ethnographic approach by collecting primary data through observation, interviews and documentation, as well as secondary data through literature review. The research results show that Alame Padangsidimpuan contains mathematical concepts such as counting, elements of units, measurement, angles, comparisons, flat shapes, spatial shapes, and social arithmetic. It is hoped that this research can be a valuable reference in developing mathematics learning materials related to local culture, so that students can be more involved and enthusiastic in learning mathematics

Membaca Sinyal Electroencephalogram (EEG) Dalam Menangkap Tingkat Emosi (Berdasarkan Ontologi)

Philosophically based EEG (electroencephalography) signal data processing is an engaging interdisciplinary approach and opens up new perspectives in understanding brain function. In this context, it is necessary to examine data from a technical or biological point of view and consider its metaphysical, epistemological and even ontological aspects. Ontology is a branch of metaphysics that deals with objects and the types of objects that exist according to one's metaphysical (or even physical) theory, their properties, and their relationship. This article attempts to provide a philosophical view of science based on ontology for processing EEG signal data, the data source of which is taken from brain waves. With the results of trials using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) classification, an accuracy value of 46.73 was obtained. The Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm can also be used to process EEG signal data to determine a person's emotional level; this is proven in research results; although the overall accuracy of emotion recognition has increased significantly, several problems cause low accuracy in the DEAP and DREAMER data sets. There are also results of other experiments carried out using CNN, and the experimental results show that the weight of channels related to emotions is greater than that of different channels. The Continuous Capsule Network (CCN) algorithm and Deep Neural Network (DNN) algorithm can also be used to process EEG signal data to determine the level of emotion

The Influence of Self-regulated Learning, Adversity Quotient, Self-Efficacy, and Learning Motivation on Academic Achievement

This ex-post facto quantitative study seeks to analyze the influence of Self-Regulated Learning, Adversity Quotient, Self-Efficacy, and Learning Motivation on the Academic Achievement of 8th Grade Students at MTs Madani Alauddin, utilizing the complete population of 8th Grade students at the institution. This research employed cluster random sampling, yielding a sample size of 105 people. The questionnaire was employed to gather data on Self-Regulated Learning, Adversity Quotient, Self-Efficacy, and Learning Motivation among eighth-grade students at MTs Madani Alauddin. The research data were examined employing descriptive and inferential statistics through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The research findings indicate that self-regulated learning exerts both direct and indirect influences on academic accomplishment, with the direct influence being more significant than the indirect influence. The adversity quotient exerts both direct and indirect effects on academic achievement, with the direct effect being more pronounced than the indirect effect. Self-efficacy exerts both direct and indirect effects on academic accomplishment, with the direct effect being more pronounced than the indirect effect. The urge to learn directly influences academic performance

Application of Assemblr Edu Augmented Reality Media in IPAS Learning on Water Cycle Material at Wonosari 01 State Elementary School

IPAS can foster students' curiosity about their surroundings. It is very important to be taught in elementary school. However, based on the results of observations at Wonosari 01 State Elementary School, researchers obtained data that there was still a lack of student interest in IPAS subjects, because during learning the teacher did not use learning media so that students became less active in participating in learning. This also has an impact on student learning outcomes which are still relatively low. Researchers collaborate with classroom teachers in improving learning activities in the classroom. Researchers and class teachers use Augmented Reality Assemblr Edu learning media in IPAS subjects with water cycle material. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method proposed by Kemmis and Taggar. This Classroom Action research method was conducted in two cycles. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the average student learning outcomes, where in each cycle student learning has increased from 83.46% in cycle I and 92.69% in cycle II. This is also shown in the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes which is increasing from cycle I with a percentage of completeness of 84.61% and a percentage of 15.38% unsuccessful. While in cycle II the percentage of completeness was 96.15% with a percentage of unfinishedness of 3.84%. Based on the data obtained, the researcher's goal of applying Augmented Reality Assemblr Edu learning media can improve student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects has been proven successful
