Implementasi Black Box Testing pada Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Google Sites

    Get PDF
The Google Sites application is an interactive multimedia which is one of the products of the Google company as a means of creating a site equivalent to a website. Biology is a science that is dominated by theory and is closely related to memorization and reading. So, in its application it requires good focus on the material being presented. One innovation that can be done is by designing interactive and creative learning media such as Google Sites. The Google Sites application is designed in the form of presenting learning material on the topic Biology of the Human Reproductive System as an effort to develop learning media and enrich creativity during learning. However, when developing learning media, of course you have to guarantee quality, performance and functionality, therefore it is important to test the system before the learning media is handed over to students. The aim of this research is to test Google Sites-based learning media using the black box testing method. Black box testing is a test that only tests the functionality of the system, in this case it only tests the input and output produced by the system. After black box testing was carried out, Google Sites based learning media was suitable for use with results that met expectations

The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations for the improvement of the MBKM program, which has been facing challenges at the program level. MBKM is a great program for students to develop their competencies and skills so that they can meet the qualifications of DUDI upon graduation. This study used a mixed method, which involved a literature review and discussions and interviews with program managers, lecturers, and students regarding the implementation of MBKM to date. The results of the study showed an increase in the number of students participating in the MBKM program each year. Students felt the benefits of participating in the MBKM program to gain experience, competencies, soft and hard skills. However, there are still some challenges related to the implementation of the conversion of course credits, the implementation time, and the limited program quota. These issues should be considered so that the program can be improved in the future, with careful planning, implementation, and evaluation

Analisis Scientific Reasoning Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Fluida Dinamis dengan Model STEM-PjBL

Scientific reasoning ability is an important aspect in learning so that students are able to apply the scientific method. In fact, research on students' scientific reasoning is still rare. STEM-PjBL is learning through projects to achieve certain results contextually by mastering several STEM concepts that are currently widely implemented. This research aims to analyze students' scientific reasoning ability in learning physics dynamic fluid material through the implementation of STEM-PJBL. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach carried out at SMAN 4 Jember in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 school year with a research population of one class XI. The subjects in this study amounted to 36 students who were divided into 6 groups. Scientific reasoning ability has six indicators that are measured during the learning process of dynamic fluid through STEM-PjBL. The results of this study indicate that the indicators that are categorized as very good are indicators of probabilistic reasoning and hypothesis-deductive reasoning. Indicators that are categorized as good include indicators of conservation reasoning, proportional reasoning, and correlation reasoning. The indicator that is categorized as very poor is the variable control indicator. This shows that students' scientific reasoning ability can be analyzed with the STEM-PjBL model. With STEM-PjBL, most students' scientific reasoning skills are good. However, it needs to be improved again, especially in the ability to control variables

    Get PDF
The primary aim of this study was to explore the effectiveness of using syntax games in fostering students' ability to learn English from the viewpoints of EFL teachers working in a private Islamic junior high school in Padangsidimpuan. The study's findings and the data gathered from a questionnaire showed that the EFL teachers have a variety of ideas about using games to teach grammar that are comparable to those discussed in the current literature. According to the study, although the EFL teachers acknowledge that games are a useful tool for teaching grammar, they do not employ games as frequently as one might anticipate in their classrooms

Vocabulary mastery is a basic thing that must be mastered by someone in learning a language. Unfortunately, currently many EFL students still have difficulty mastering English vocabulary. One of the media that can be used by teachers to improve students' vocabulary mastery is word wall (Supraba, 2019). The objectives of this research are to analyze the use of wordwall.net media in teaching English vocabulary and also to identify the advantages and disadvantages of using wordwall.net according to the perceptions of English teachers in teaching English vocabulary to Physical Education students at Dehasen University Bengkulu. This research was field research with a descriptive qualitative method. The data was collected based on observations, interviews and documentations. The results of study showed that teaching vocabulary (with an emphasis on nouns) through word wall media can improve students' vocabulary, and researchers found the most effective method for teaching English vocabulary (with an emphasis on nouns and verbs) through word wall media. In addition, the use of wordwall.net is also considered effective in increasing the motivation and enthusiasm of Physical Education students in learning English by answering questions in turns so that they are challenged to compete with friends and not learn monotonously by sitting and listening on a bench. Meanwhile, the advantages of wordwall.net include various interesting features, automatic reporting of results, providing printable and easily accessible materials. On the other hand, its disadvantages include being prone to fraud because students can access links freely anytime and anywhere, they have the opportunity to work together or cheat on each other without the teacher's knowledge. In addition, both teacher and learner should know on how to use smartphone, PC, or Laptop in order to access and to operate the wordwall.net application
