    Integration of Local Culture in the Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) Learning Model to Improve Scientific Literacy: A Literature Review

    Scientific literacy is an essential competency for students in the 21st century, yet its development in Indonesia remains a challenge. One of the contributing factors is the lack of contextual learning models that connect scientific concepts with students' daily lives. This study explores the integration of local culture into the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model as a potential approach to improving students' scientific literacy. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted by analysing relevant studies published between 2021 and 2024 in Sinta 1, Sinta 2, and ERIC databases. The articles were selected based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria and analysed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that while science literacy and local culture have been widely discussed separately, research explicitly integrating the SSCS model with local culture remains limited. The results highlight the potential of this integration in enhancing students' engagement and conceptual understanding while addressing challenges in its implementation. This study provides recommendations for developing contextual and culturally relevant science education, which not only fosters scientific literacy but also contributes to the preservation of local wisdom

    Implementation of 21st-Century Skills in General Mathematics and Its Impact on Student Performance: Bases for Developing a Self-Learning Module

    Mathematics plays a crucial role in the 21st century because it emphasises logical and systematic problem-solving processes. This research evaluated the implementation of 21st-century skills in general mathematics instruction and the mathematics performance of the Cebu Technological University San Francisco Campus students for the Academic Year 2022-2023. The study employed a descriptive-correlational research design, utilising researcher-modified questionnaires anchored from the P21 framework, which were pilot-tested, expert-reviewed, and validated. It involved 203 students and perceived a very satisfactory implementation of the 21st-century skills of critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and perseverance in general mathematics instruction. Also, it assessed the students' mathematics performance using a 30-item multiple choice test and found poor performance in all six topics. The study found a weak but statistically significant relationship between the implementation of 21st-century skills and mathematics performance. Among the skills, collaboration showed the strongest positive relationship with mathematics performance, followed by communication, perseverance, and critical thinking. Surprisingly, problem-solving did not demonstrate a significant relationship, suggesting that other factors may also influence performance. The findings emphasise the importance of these skills in improving mathematics performance and provide a foundation for the development of a contextualised self-learning module in general mathematics. Further research is recommended to validate these findings

    Redesign of the user interface for the career development center (CDC) website, Telkom University Bandung

    Nowadays, the development of the job market is becoming increasingly competitive. Companies have various specific criteria for their prospective employees. In addition to having a degree, job candidates are also required to possess various soft skills. Therefore, Telkom University, through the Career Development Center (CDC), strives to prepare its students for employability. The Career Development Center (CDC) at Telkom University operates a website that serves as a digital platform for information sharing and interaction with both students and alumni. However, based on the results of the observation, issues were found on the website, including a user interface that is considered neither informative nor visually appealing. Considering the main function of this website is as a center for information and interaction among the academic community, a redesign of the CDC Telkom University website is necessary using a design thinking approach as the design method. Data was collected through observation and interviews, which were then analyzed using descriptive analysis methods to produce a user interface design that meets user needs. The result of this design process produced a new CDC website design in the form of a high-fidelity prototype that has undergone testing using the usability testing method and received positive feedback from end users. Through the redesign of this website's user interface, it is hoped that a good user experience will be achieved, allowing the Career Development Center of Telkom University to optimally convey information

    PERAN GURU PENGGERAK AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENGGERAKKAN KOMUNITAS KKG PAI SUB RAYON KEC. KAMPUNG RAKYAT

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru penggerak PAI dalam menggerakkan Komunitas, serta untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dan mem memberikan solusi bagi guru penggerak PAI dalam menggerakkan KKG PAI Sub Rayon Kec. Kampung Rakyat Labusel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (Field Research). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru penggerak memiliki peran kunci dalam menggerakkan komunitas KKG. Peran guru penggerak yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan anggota, memfasilitasi kegiatan belajar, dan menjadi narasumber. Adapun faktor pendukung adalah adanya dukungan dari pengawas PAI dan dari kemenag kabupaten serta undang - undang no 14 tahun 2005 tentang guru dan dosen sebagai tenaga profesional termasuk kualifikasi dan kompetensi. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya motivasi guru PAI dalam mengikuti kegiatan rutin komunitas karena setiap kegitan dilakukan pada jam pembelajaran (pagi) sehingga kurang mendapat dukungan dari kepala sekolah dan ada juga guru yang tempat tinggalnya jauh dari ibu kota kecamatan maka solusinya adalah Koordinasi dengan Kepala Sekolah, Peningkatan Komunikasi di Antara Anggota, Fleksibilitas Dalam Jadwal

    IMPROVEMENT OF STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH THE TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL

    This study aims to optimize students' learning outcomes in Economics subjects through the implementation of the cooperative learning model, Team Games Tournament (TGT) type. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, consisting of four stages in each cycle, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study involved 33 students of class X.4 at SMA Negeri 3 Cilacap. Based on the research findings, it was revealed that there was an improvement in students' learning outcomes in each cycle. This is evidenced by the increase in the average student score, which rose from 62.78% in the pre-cycle, to 68.78% in the first cycle, and reached 85.03% in the second cycle. Therefore, the application of the cooperative learning model of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type is proven to be effective in the learning process of Economics to help improve students' learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 3 Cilacap

    The increasing consumer demand for mukena products has an impact on the production process which is required to be fast until the product reaches the consumer. However, the long distance between the production process which is still separated by the location between the warehouse and the production floor causes the ineffectiveness of the production process. To overcome this, Konveksi Roemah Dia must increase production by designing a new production site that has a layout with a minimum distance between production rooms. The purpose of this study is to design a production layout using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method to design the relationship between activities. The results of data processing obtained a floor area between raw materials, cutting tables, sewing machines, embroidery machines, quality control, to finished product warehouses of 43.36 m2. Furthermore, a table of the level of activity proximity relationships was created using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) which was summarized into the Worksheet for Activity Relationship Diagram (WARD), then a new layout experiment was made using the Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD), finally a proposed layout was made using the Area Allocation Diagram (AAD) with a U-shaped pattern and a distance of movement between facilities of 13.5 m. The new production floor is carried out in the same place so that there is no waste of distance and time for the material movement process

    Pendidikan merupakan hal yang penting bagi setiap individu. Dengan memiliki pendidikan yang baik, diharapkan akan dapat meningkatkan kelayakan hidup di masa depan. Pendidikan dapat diperoleh dari berbagai macam sumber, salah satunya pendidikan formal yang diselenggarakan oleh Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). PAUD Kemuning yang terletak di Kelurahan Srengseng Sawah, Kecamatan Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan, menyediakan berbagai macam program diantaranya memberikan pelayanan pendidikan formal untuk siswa dari sejak lahir sampai usia enam tahun. Untuk bidang akademik, salah satu mata pelajaran yang diajarkan adalah Bahasa Inggris. Dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan penggunaan bahasa Inggris semakin meluas pada era globalisasi ini, pelajaran Bahasa Inggris penting untuk dikuasai para siswa. Lembaga pendidikan ini membantu para siswa untuk mendapatkan variasi belajar agar lebih menarik dan menyenangkan serta menarik minat dan motivasi siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka tim akan memberikan pelatihan tentang penggunaan media permainan ular tangga dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata dalam bahasa Inggris. Diharapkan media pembelajaran ini akan lebih menyenangkan dan menarik minat siswa untuk belajar lebih semangat dalam belajar.Education is substantial for every individual. PAUD Kemuning, located in Srengseng Sawah Village, Jagakarsa District, South Jakarta, provides various programs, including formal education services for students from birth to 6 years old. In the academic field, one of the subjects taught is English. With the need for increasingly widespread use of English in this era of globalization, English lessons are prominent for students to master. This educational institution helps students to get a variety of learning to make it more interesting and enjoyable and attract students' interest and motivation. Based on this, the team will provide training on using the Snakes and Ladders game media to improve English vocabulary acquisition.     Santun Berbahasa: Membangun Budaya Kesopanan di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kemayoran

    Kesopanan dalam berbicara adalah elemen penting untuk membangun komunikasi yang efektif dan harmonis, terutama di lingkungan pendidikan seperti SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kemayoran. Artikel ini menekankan pentingnya kesopanan berbicara bagi siswa dan langkah-langkah untuk menumbuhkan budaya kesopanan di sekolah. Dengan pendekatan pendidikan yang menitikberatkan pada etika komunikasi, diharapkan siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara yang santun dan penuh hormat. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kemayoran dilakukan melalui dua tahap utama: penyampaian materi dan sesi tanya jawab. Melalui metode ini, siswa diharapkan tidak hanya mendapatkan pengetahuan teoretis tentang prinsip kesopanan dalam berbicara, tetapi juga mampu memahami dan menerapkannya dalam komunikasi sehari-hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam berbicara dengan sopan di berbagai situasi. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan penerapan praktis baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di luar sekolah, siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi yang efektif dan harmonis, serta berkontribusi pada pembentukan budaya kesopanan yang lebih baik di masyarakat
