    The impacts of AI continue to evolve in higher education, we are grappling in real-time with the complexity of supporting students to use AI thoughtfully when the vast majority of professors say they themselves don\u27 t know how. (McMurtie, 2024) In Fall 2024, the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts Faculty Engagement team convened a Teaching Fellows cohort of Faculty from diverse departments to grapple with AI\u27 s implications in their teaching.     Measuring AI Information Literacy: Developing a Quiz for Student Perceptions and Knowledge

    There are a variety of published surveys a researcher could use to collect data on students\u27 self-perception of AI. However, students\u27 self-perception of their AI information literacy skills may not reflect their actual knowledge. This poster explores the development of a 10-question quiz designed to assess undergraduate students\u27 perceptions and knowledge of AI information literacy. This quiz is aligned with the five criteria from The American Association of Colleges and Universities\u27 Information Literacy VALUE Rubric. This survey is part of an on-going project to assess the teaching of AI skills impact on information literacy skills and will provide insights on student perceptions as compared to knowledge
