Significance of Trickster in Igbo Folktales in Education of the Child: A Lesson to all Nigerians
Folktale is universal. It is found in all parts of the world. One of the outstanding characteristics of folktale is the possession of trickster. Trickster has different name in the tales of different ethnic groups of the world. In Hausa, he is “ereke”, in Yoruba he is “ijapa”, in Ashanti (Ghana) he is “ananse”, in Trinidad, he is fox, in other parts of Europe, he is either rabbit, monkey or hare etc. A trickster is often something of a rogue. He manages to extricate himself from intrigue and sometimes saves himself from dangerous situation by a display of mental ability. The trickster of the folktales of the Igbo people of Nigeria is tortoise ‘Mbe’. Tortoise is not an outstanding animal. In the case of gathering of animals, he would least be noticed. There are large, ferocious, and beautiful animals that would make the presence of tortoise unnoticed. But when it comes to folktales, tortoise is the smallest among the characters. He so much defeats other characters by his deceptions. His greatest weapon is lies. Most of Igbo folktales are moral tales. They teach moral, yet trickster plays prominent role in the tales of Igbo people. In other words trickster is used in the education of the young. The writer investigated to find reasons for such development through reading books and journals relating to the topic. She studied six Igbo folktales and also through oral interviews of some prominent Igbo people of ages ranging from 20-70 yrs of age. The writer found out amongst other things that Igbo world view on life is responsible to the use of tricksters in their education of the young
Hydro Distillation Method Extraction Of Eucalyptus Oil & Lemongrass Oil
A large variety of plant materials contain Essential Oils with in-depth bioactivities. Acknowledging the importance of plants and its medicative worth, extraction of volatile oil had been done exploitation Hydro Distillation technique. During this project, Hydro Distillation was accustomed to extract oil from totally different plant materials like eucalyptus leaves, lemongrass, rose petals, etc. The distillation was conducted in Clevenger equipment within which boiling, compressing, and separation was done. Hydro distillation technique was found to be one in all the promising techniques for the extraction of volatile oil from plants as an honoured manufacturer can preserve the initial qualities of the plant. The recovery of the worth additional product i.e., oil from the raw biology beginning material is incredibly necessary since the standard of the oil is greatly influenced throughout this step. The Analysis of that area unit had been done by the exploitation of local area, Gas natural action and spectrometer equipment that evaluates volatile oil quantitatively and qualitatively. We have a tendency to currently find the calculable that the 'fragrant pharmacy' consists of compounds having an especially wide selection of organic chemistry effects. Essential oils area unit thus termed as they are believed to represent the terribly essence of odour and flavour
Entitlements to Basics Services of Inter-State Migrants Living in Urban Slums of Bangalore City: Entitlements to Basics Services of Inter-state Migrants
In urban areas, there is the availability of better employment, education, and health infrastructure, and hence, people forced to migrate from rural to urban area. Along with this, due to change in the occupational pattern and development of transport and communication, the interstate migration is found in an increasing trend. In some regions of India, three out of four households include a migrant. Despite this fact, internal migration has been accorded very low priority by the government, and existing policies in India have failed in providing social protection to this vulnerable group. This can be attributed in part to a serious data gap on the extent, nature, and magnitude of internal migration (UNESCO, 2013). Bangalore, officially called now as Bengaluru, is the capital of Indian state of Karnataka. It is the third most populous city in India. As per 2001 census of India, it was found that about 30.62 percent of the total population of the state is considered as migrants, and from 1971 to 2001, it is observed that the percentage of interstate migration found in an increasing trend i.e., 12.64 % in 1971, 13.95 % in 1981, 12.44 % in 1991 and 13.02 % in 2001. More than 85 percent of in-migrants are from the neighboring state, namely, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Kerala. All these points emphasize the importance of studying interstate migration in Karnataka in general and Bengaluru in particular. The migrant population tries to settle themselves in urban slums because of their poor financial condition. However, the recent migrants mostly settle themselves in unauthorized slums or migrant tents, which have no basic amenities. Along with this background, their migrant status put them into more vulnerability. UNESCO emphasized that there is a pressing need to ensure that urban settlements become inclusive spaces as they expand in size and diversity. This would require adequate and affordable housing, health and education services as well as infrastructure and sanitation. Improving migrants’ access to government services and welfare programs can improve the quality of life of migrants. This will, in turn, lay the foundations for a more inclusive and integrated society and balance economic prosperity and social diversity (UNESCO, 2013). Even though the interstate migrants contribute to the urban resources significantly, their contribution is not visible to the urban authorities, or they are ignoring, and this can be visible in their less accessibility which results in the lack of basic facilities. In this context, we report the status of these internal migrants in terms of entitlement to basic services in Bangalore city

Casualization of Labour in Nigerian Banks and Its Implication on Human Resource Management.
Casual employment is identified with significantly large category of workers being treated in a manner that undermined human resource management in Nigeria. Many casual workers do same work as permanent workers and are treated as inferior in terms of rights and conditions of service, despite working regularly for the same employer. The banking sector is of interest to this study. The objectives of this study are to examine the cause of casual employment, ascertain the effects of casualisation of workforce on the human resource management, and recommend solutions to end casualisation of workers in Nigeria. The paper employed the use of secondary data for its analysis. It was observed that casualisation resulted from globalization, weak legal framework, condition of the labour market and profit maximization objective of the banks.it was also discovered that casualisation affect the morale, commitment and overall productivity of employees. The paper recommended that government should create minimum standards for employment of labour, enforce the existing law on casualisation, put in place policies, programmes and relevant labour laws aimed at discouraging casualization and consistently improving the labour regulation to embrace the reality of modernization. Workers need some sense of security in their workplace, so employers of contract staff should treat them like humans, offer casual employees the benefit of rights at work and be allowed to work with dignity. The need for vibrant trade unions to organise, and represent casual workers interest by exploring new strategies that will produce result and put an end to the plight of casual employees.

Some New Results on the Curvatures of the Spherical Indicatrices of the Involutes of a Spacelike Curve with a Spacelike Binormal in Minkowski 3-Space
In the present paper, we deal with the spherical indicatrices of involutes of a given spacelike curve with spacelike binormal. Then we give some important relationships between arc lengths and geodesic curvatures of the base curve and its involutes in Minkowski 3-sapace. Also, some important results are given for these curves
Increasing Stability of The Inverse Source Problem For One Dimensional Domain: Coupled Systems of Functional Differential Equations of Fractional Orders
In this paper, we are investigating the one dimensional inverse source problem for Helmholtz equation where the source function is compactly supported in our domain. We show that increasing stability possible using multi-frequency wave at the two endpoints. Our main result is to obtain a stability estimate consists of two parts: the data discrepancy and the high frequency tail
