Thought Experiment Using an Experimental Model Device to Facilitate the Understanding of“Moon Phases”
Get PDFP(論文)小学校６年生は，「月と太陽」の単元の中で，月の満ち欠け現象について学習する。児童に月の位相変化や見える位置，時間等を理解させるには教師側の的確な手立てが必要となる。
最近の子どもたちは，月食，日食等の天文イベントはマスメディアを通じて整理された情報として触れることが多いが，彼らが日常生活の中で，月の満ち欠け現象を考えるようなことは殆どない。
加えて，小学校の教師の多くが地学的内容を十分に履修していないため天文領域の指導に対する苦手意識が強い傾向があり，これらの内容を小学生に理解させるには多くの指導上の課題がある。
そこで，筆者らはこれらの課題解決の方法として，観測者のおおよその位置や観測時間及びその時の月の満ち欠けの様子を理解できるモデル実験器を作成した。さらに，本実験器を用いた協同的な思考実験を授業に取り入れることにより月の満ち欠け現象の理解が深まるという仮説を立て，本研究を進めることにした。
本論では，月の満ち欠けを理解させるための教材・教具の工夫やそれを用いた授業づくりの研究結果について報告する。また，教材・教具の作成やその活用方法について，大学生を対象とした授業や現場教師を対象とした研修での成果についても報告したい。The sixth graders learn phenomenon of moon phases in the unit of "the moon and the sun". The teacher needs to implement a good method in order to facilitate students’ understanding of phase variations, visible positions, and viewing times of the moon.
Children nowadays often come in contact with astronomy events such as moon eclipse, or solar eclipse through the mass media. However, it is rare that they think about“ moon phases” in everyday life. In addition, many elementary school teachers tend to feel inadequate to teach the domain of astronomy since they did not study the contents of earth science. Therefore, in order to solve these issues, the writer made an experimental model device wherein an observer can take note of his approximate position, observation time, and moon phases at the specific time. Furthermore, the writer hypothesized that the understanding of the moon phases will deepen by adopting this cooperative thought experiment with the use of the experimental device in the classroom and the writer has decided to go forward with this study under this hypothesis. In this paper, the writer will discuss ideas for teaching materials or teaching tools that will facilitate the understanding of the moon phases and also will report the results of implementing such devices in the classroom.departmental bulletin pape
Studies on sensitivity of taste of the college students
Get PDF本学学生パネルで毎年実施しているショ糖液の甘さの順序判定に関して，近年では正解率が著しく変化してきたことをきっかけに，学生の味覚感度についての状況把握を行った。さらに，味覚授業において味覚への意識を高め，味わうことへの集中をはじめとした訓練を実施し，授業における学習が有効であるかについて検討を行った。五味の識別能力および閾値を測定した結果，本学学生パネルにおいては，酸味に対する感受性がやや低い傾向が認められた。塩味閾値，甘味閾値は同年代の学生についての文献値と同程度であった。味覚演習授業の始めと終盤における閾値を比較した結果，塩味において，感度の向上傾向が認められた。塩味に関しては，学生の汁物の塩分の好み，家庭の汁物の塩分濃度測定，さらに塩分濃度予測等の訓練を行った。授業初期において学生が調整した吸い地，味噌汁では塩分濃度が高め，家庭の味噌汁塩分は標準的な濃度であった。また，学生と家庭の味噌汁塩分にやや相関傾向が認められた。だしや食塩水の塩分濃度測定や濃度調整と自己認知感覚を対照させて数値の意識づけを試みた結果，塩分濃度の予測が正確になるという結果が得られ，授業終盤における閾値の低下傾向からも，塩味においては，慣れや訓練による感度向上が認められた。departmental bulletin pape
A School Management based on the Findings of Special Needs EducationⅡ: About Making the School Culture which "Can feel Easy" about "Safety"
Get PDFP(論文)「いじめ」や「体罰」は日本の教育問題の積年の課題である。しかしながら，今年度も教育現場においては，Ｓ県Ｏ市における「いじめ」の問題，Ｏ市のＳ高校のバスケットボール部顧問による「体罰」の問題など，どちらもかけがえのない子どもたちの「命」を失うという，悲しい事件が後を絶たない。残念ながら，これらの教育における諸問題は一向に改善されていないように思われる。
やはり，これらの問題を解決するためには，次の三つのステップで指導・支援の改善をしていく必要がある。一つ目のステップは，特別支援教育等の知見をいかして，学校や学級での集団では不都合な言動をしてしまいがちな「グレーゾーンの子どもたちの理解」を進めることである。二つ目のステップは，その子ども理解を元に，教師自らの「指導や支援の仕方についての理解」を深めることである。三つ目のステップは，その理解を基本に日々の実践を積み重ね，教師自らの指導や支援のスキルを向上させていくことである。
決して容易なことではないが，このようなステップを粘り強く繰り返していくことで子どもたちも教師も安心で安定した学校・学級づくりがなされていくのではないかと考える。その必要性について，いくつかの事例をあげながら明らかにしたい。"Bullying" and "corporal punishment" are the long-standing subjects of an educational issue of Japan. After all, in order to solve these problems, it is necessary to improve instruction and support at the following three steps. A one-eyed step is advancing "an understanding of the children of a gray area" which tends to carry out inconvenient speech and conduct in a school or the group in a class taking advantage of knowledge, such as special support education. The second step is deepening "an understanding about the method of instruction or support" of the teacher himself based on the child understanding. The third step is repeating daily practice on the basis of the understanding, and raising the teacher's himself instruction, and the skill of support.
Although it is never easy, I think that the school and the production of a class where who
se children and teacher were also safe and were stabilized by repeating such a step tenaciously

Using Rubrics in EFL Classrooms:Student Perceptions and Attitude

effective, teachers should develop a good rubric. The main goal of this paper was to
determine Japanese university students’ perceptions of and attitude toward rubrics or use of
rubrics. A 23-item questionnaire was utilized in this study. Results show that students' positive perceptions matched their positive attitude toward rubrics or use of rubrics. Get PDFP(論文)本稿では，主部内在節文のもつ成立条件の厳しさと豊かな推論による柔軟性という相反する二面性を指摘し，この二面性をどう捉えるべきかについて，内在節文を生み出す動機づけから考察を行った。その中で内在節文の産出は，事態叙述の焦点がシフトすることによる構文の融合を第一の動機づけとするが，それに加え内在節が内容節のように捉えられるというもう一つの動機づけがあることを指摘し，この二つの動機づけという観点から制約と柔軟性という二面性について説明を行った。Head Internal Relative Clauses (IHRCs) are known for their very strict conditions to be accepted as grammatical. On the other hand, though, some IHRCs departing from those conditions are accepted with very flexible inference or reasoning. Benefits of Using Vocabulary Flash Cards in an EFL Classroom

regard to vocabulary acquisition and English productive and receptive competency. Also,
student perceptions of using and making word cards will be examined to show the
importance of including a word card policy in an EFL classroom. Despite all the positive
research done on word cards, it is surprising how many Japanese EFL students do not
utilize word cards in their English studies. For this research, 108 students from two
Japanese Universities were surveyed on their usage of word cards, many of which have just
started using word cards. The results show that students have a positive perception towards
using word cards and feel word cards increase their test scores, confidence and motivation to

The image of the domestic maid as seen in Seichō Matsumoto’s novel Atsui Kuki
Get PDFP(論文)本稿は，戦後日本を代表する作家，松本清張の中編小説『熱い空気』を資料として，1960年代前半の家政婦像について考察したものである。主人公は家政婦紹介所に登録する派出家政婦。彼女の目を通して中流上層家庭の内幕をのぞき見る，というかたちで物語は進行する。
この作品で描かれるのは，人格無視で機械のようにこき使われる家政婦の姿である。雇主からすると家政婦はよそ者であり，かつて住み込み女中とのあいだに存在したような温情的な関係は成立しない。家政婦の被虐意識は恨みに転化し，雇主の妻への復讐を計画．平和な家庭を崩壊の危機に陥れる。当時，日本では女中払底の対応策として，家政婦を家事技術者として位置づけようとする動きがみられた。しかし現実には，雇主側に家政婦を見下す意識が残っていたため，家政婦が専門職としてのプライドを持つことは難しかったのである。Using as a text the short novel Atsui Kuki (“Hot Air”) by Seichō Matsumoto, a leading author in postwar Japan, this paper considers the image of the domestic maid in the first half of the 1960s. The novel’s protagonist is a daily domestic maid registered with a domestic maid agency. The story advances by peeking, through her eyes, into the inner workings of an upper middle-class household.
This work depicts the way the domestic maid is exploited like a machine, with no regard for her personality. From the employer’s perspective, the domestic maid is an outsider, and no warm relations develop between the employer and the maid as had existed with the livein maids of the past. At the time, a movement was apparent in Japan to position domestic maids as housework technicians, as a countermeasure against a shortage of maids. However, since in reality employers still looked down on domestic maids, it was difficult for domestic maids to take pride in their work as specialists.departmental bulletin pape
Effects of a physical training program for tennis club players in university
Get PDFP(論文)本学テニス部選手に対して短期的なフィジカルトレーニングプログラムを実施した。Pre-test においてRegular 群Non-regular 群の間で上体起こしと立ち幅跳びの測定において有意な差が伺えた（P<.05）。３ヶ月後のPost-test においては両群間では有意な差が伺えなかったものの，全部員に対して上体起こし，５方向走，往復走で有意な差が伺えた（P<.05）。よって，3ヶ月の短期的なフィジカルトレーニングメニューは効果的であったことが示唆された。今後は，測定項目を増やし，技術とトレーニングの関連性を定量化し縦断的研究を推奨したいと考える。A short-term physical training program for the university tennis club players was conducted. The players were divided into two groups: regular and non-regular members. There was a significant difference between the two groups in terms of sit-ups and standing long jump (p <.05). After three months, the post-test showed there was no significant difference between the two groups as far as sit-ups were concerned, although a significant difference was observed in the measurements of spider drills and sprint stops (P<.05). Therefore, it is suggested that a three-month short-term training program can be effective. In the future, increasing the number of measurable variables could lead to a longitudinal study to quantify the relevance of technology and training.departmental bulletin pape
