A Study on Methods to Increase the Number of Junior High School Students Who Play Kendo — From the Perspective of Teaching Materials Similar to Ball Sports Events —
Full text linkP(論文)公益財団法人日本中学校体育連盟は，2024年6 月８ 日，主催する全国中学校体育大会の規模を2027年度から縮小することを明らかにした。夏季と冬季の計19競技のうち，水泳，ハンドボール，体操，新体操，ソフトボール（男子），相撲，スキー，スケート，アイスホッケーの９ 競技が開催されなくなることとなった。
そこで，日本中体連の調査結果や先行研究をもとに剣道の現状を把握することとした。中学生の剣道人口を増加させるためには，小学校学習指導要領に位置付ける必要があるため，新たに位置付けられたタグラブビーなどの下位教材としての有効性について検討した。また，部活動加入率が減少している競技団体の取り組みなどから，体育授業で取り組める簡易な教具の開発と，攻防の楽しさを味わわせる教材の普及が必要との見解に至った。departmental bulletin pape
