Moving towards an inclusive organization: the link between gender-focused human resources policies and organizational performance through organizational identity and image
This research investigates the link between gender-focused human resources (HR) policies and organizational performance, considering the mediating roles of organizational identity and image. Cross-sectional data were collected from 151 mid-level managers in commercial banks located in Delta State, Nigeria. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using the partial least squares (PLS) method. Results indicate that gender-focused HR policies have positive and significant impact organizational performance, with this effect mediated by organizational identity and image, both independently and sequentially. The study concluded that the link between gender-focused HR policies and organizational performance is shaped by the interplay between organizational identity and image. Practical recommendations were provided to strengthen these linkages and enhance organizational performance.

The role of community in supporting sustainable tourism
Abstract Tourism has emerged as a key economic driver globally, contributing significantly to cultural exchange and economic growth. However, its rapid expansion has often come at a steep environmental and social cost, including habitat destruction, biodiversity loss, and cultural homogenization. This article explores the transformative role of eco-friendly tourism practices in addressing these challenges, with a particular focus on the case study of Patagonia, which spans regions of Chile and Argentina. It examines sustainable initiatives such as the establishment of protected areas, community-based tourism models, and government policies that harmonize conservation efforts with socio-economic benefits. By analyzing these strategies, the article highlights how responsible tourism can simultaneously preserve natural ecosystems, empower local communities, and drive economic development. The findings underscore the critical need for global adoption of sustainable tourism practices to ensure the long-term viability of this dynamic sector while fostering equitable and meaningful travel experiences. DETERMINANT MACROECONOMIC FACTORS ON THE BANKRUPTCY OF ECONOMIC ENTITIES
The bankruptcy of economic entities is an extremely important phenomenon in the market economy, especially in the challenging times we live in today. The economy of the countries of the world knows permanent turbulence, a so-called \u27polycrisis\u27 in which various, sometimes simultaneous, influences are felt from several sides, which can destabilize and worsen the situation of economic entities. For this reason, a permanent attention is required regarding the evolution of the bankruptcies of the countries of the world in order to prevent or anticipate possible risks and thus to avoid as much as possible the failures of enterprises. The study aims to identify the links, relations and the influence of macroeconomic factors on the bankruptcy of organizations at the level of the European Union, after carrying out a bibliometric analysis to identify what is the current level of knowledge as well as future research directions. Based on econometric modeling, we identified how these macroeconomic factors influence, confirming the fact that they have a decisive impact on the evolution of bankruptcies registered at the level of the European Union
SMES’ BUSINESS RESILIENCE: THEORETICAL INSIGHTS
The business resilience of a firm shows its ability to cope with turbulence that may arise in the internal or external environment where the firm operates. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) represent the most numerous and important sector of enterprises, fulfilling multiple economic and social functions. This paper focuses mainly on the analysis of the concept of business resilience of SMEs in terms of existing theoretical approaches and on the capture of factors that influence this resilience of SMEs, especially in the post-Covid-19 period, as well as on the analysis of the role and importance in general of SMEs in the world economy, especially in Europe. It is important to note that the existence of SMEs that have still managed to survive the post-pandemic crisis has attracted the attention of researchers in terms of their resilience, but also the factors that influence it.The business resilience of a firm shows its ability to cope with turbulence that may arise in the internal or external environment where the firm operates. ACCOUNTING ASPECTS OF RECOGNIZING PROCEEDS AND EXPENDITURES AND CONDITIONS OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP CONTRACTS
Proceeds and expenses are fundamental elements in the economic analysis of an entity, providing essential information about its use of resources and performance. This article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of defining, classifying, and evaluating proceeds and expenses, with a particular focus on their application in the context of public-private partnership (PPP) contracts. It analyzes how these transactions are reflected in accounting records and their impact on financial statements. Using research methods based on literature review and case studies from the Republic of Moldova, the article proposes relevant conclusions and recommendations for improving the transparency and accuracy of proceeds and expenditure recording in PPPs, thus ensuring more accurate and internationally comparable financial reporting.

CURRENT TRENDS AND INFLUENCING FACTORS IN TOURIST CONSUMER BEHAVIOR
Tourist consumption behavior is an extremely important pre-pandemic growth indicator, as it shows the global scale of the tourism phenomenon and its macroeconomic implications. In this context, tourism naturally becomes the testing ground for the acceleration of digitalization processes. The approach is an integrated one, highlighting the interaction between economic rationality, socio-cultural influences, the emotional dimension of the tourist experience and the impact of new digital technologies in the consumer decision-making process. The contemporary tourist benefits from extensive access to information, uses online platforms and mobile applications for planning and booking trips and adopts an increasingly autonomous behavior, oriented towards comparison, personalization and optimization of the value-cost ratio.
The paper highlights the transition from classic, organized and standardized tourism to flexible forms of do-it-yourself travel, in which authentic experience, sustainability and self-development occupy a central place. Tourist consumption behavior is analyzed both as a rational and informative process and as a social and cultural phenomenon, in which identity, status and group membership significantly influence consumption choices. The study also highlights the determining role of social networks, user-generated content and emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality and virtual reality, in shaping tourist perceptions and satisfaction.
In conclusion, tourism consumption behavior is emerging as a complex, dynamic and adaptive process, located at the intersection of economy, culture and technology, requiring flexible strategies from tourism service providers, focused on a deep understanding of the motivations and expectations of the modern consumer
Platform work governance and regulatory frameworks: a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis
Digital platform-based work has fundamentally transformed global labor markets, creating flexible employment opportunities while challenging traditional regulatory frameworks (Graham, Hjorth, & Lehdonvirta, 2017; Katz & Krueger, 2019). This systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis synthesizes 1,952 publications from Scopus and Web of Science (1973-2026), identifying six interconnected thematic domains: platform economy dynamics and classification, algorithmic management and control, social protection and worker rights, regulatory frameworks and government intervention, labor movements and collective action, and sector-specific emerging issues. Publication trends reveal marked acceleration post-2015 (71.7% of total), with geographic concentration in developed economies (US 16.8%, UK 12.4%, India 3.9%) (De Stefano, 2016; Stewart & Stanford, 2017). Emerging research documents platform worker precarity, algorithmic opacity, social protection gaps, and diverse regulatory approaches ranging from permissive flexibility models to employment-based protections (Rani & Furrer, 2021; Prassl & Risak, 2016). Critical gaps persist in implementation research, longitudinal analysis, and Global South contexts (Anwar & Graham, 2020). The review supports evidence-based policy recommendations including explicit worker classification frameworks, algorithmic transparency mandates, comprehensive social protection coverage, and multi-stakeholder governance mechanisms. Future research priorities include longitudinal implementation studies, emerging economy comparative analysis, intersectional precarity analysis, and enhanced research-policy engagement
AN ECONOMIC APPROACH TO THE OLYMPIC GAMES: THE OLYMPIC MARKETING REVENUES
The Olympic Games (OG) are the world’s greatest sporting event, gathering athletes from more than 200 states. They bring into the spotlight not only the sports competitions featured on the Olympic program, but also the image of the host community and country, and each people’s culture and heritage. Lately, great emphasis has been placed on the economic component of the Olympic Games. This paper aims to outline OG economics through the funding programmes for the Olympic Movement. The timeline of this paper covers the period from 1993 until 2016. With every new edition, the Olympics raise more and more revenue, even if still falling short, by far, of the organisation costs incurred. The revenue generated by broadcasting the sporting events accounts for the largest share in the total income, as opposed to the licensing revenue, which is on the lowest end. Also, there is usually a significant difference between the summer OG and the winter OG, the former generating higher revenue
BUCOVINA TOURIST DESTINATION
Bucovina is the region with the most localities declared tourist resorts in the country. Suceava County ranks 4th or 5th as a tourist destination, according to official statistics, being one of the first 8 destinations where a regional destination management organization will be realized. There are 2 local destination management organizations: Seat Fortress and The Land of Dornelor. Bucovina has rural and agritourism, active and mountain tourism (mountain biking, hiking, skiing, equestrian tourism), cultural tourism, ecumenical (religious) tourism. There are a number of problems related to: insufficient leisure offer, insufficient tourist information centers, the lack of a unitary system of signaling touristic objectives, the lack of a unified promotion policy at the county level
