    No full text
Due to increasing competition and rapid developments in terms of technology, an organization must adapt to the changing environment in order to survive, grow and develop. The aim of this paper is to analyze the relationships between organizational adaptation in tourism firms and strategies for adaptation to the external factors of tourism firms. In order to accomplish our research objective, we reviewed the literature on organizational adaptation as concerned with making adjustments over the lifespan of an organization, its strategies and focus as the venture and the marketplace evolves. Adaptation is defined as an organization’s capacity to adapt, and is related to how it adapts and what strategies does it use to adapt. A conceptual model and hypotheses are proposed. Results from a survey of small business founders/owners from the Suceava region are used to test multiple hypothesis

    No full text
May 25, 2020 marks two years since the entry into force of the GDPR across the EU. The provisions of the directive were known since the date of publication, in 2016, and the time remaining until the date of the application has been designed for businesses to take the measures necessary to comply with these provisions. To this quite generous interval, a few months were added tacitly, until the end of 2018 when, practically, no fines were applied for non-compliance. However, starting with the first months of 2019, a multitude of fines have been imposed, in all EU countries, on larger or smaller companies for breaches of the GDPR. The aim of this article is to outline a perspective on how the lack of compliance with GDPR in Romania was monitored and sanctioned and to present some conclusions related to the situation of other EU countries.

The definition and analysis of the concept of education system implies, through the perspective of a certain degree of generality that we proposed in approaching the subject, the advancement of two different reference criteria, respectively an approach of the concept of education system in a broad sense, and one, in a narrow sense. In a narrow sense, they include school institutions (primary school, middle school, high school and universities) organized by steps, cycles and areas of study. Mass education systems have emerged in the Nordic countries. For example, in Sweden, the national church urged parents and community members to support literacy, with the percentage of those who could read and write considered to have risen from 20% in the 17th century to 80%. , beginning of the 19th century. In The World Crisis in Education, Coombs focused on analyzing the collapse of global education revolutions. Indeed, in most developing countries, the quality of education has declined, and in some regions there has even been a drop-out process

The focus on investments in the infrastructure of developing countries should be more significant. The analysis of the infrastructure development in developing economies comprises two main phases. The first step refers to the funding of infrastructure projects, which do not produce sufficient funds to cover the original investment.
