Conflict, Tourism and Technology: Developing Comprehensive Policy for Sustainable Tourism in Kashmir Valley
No full textThis paper studies the fallouts of insurgency and its impact upon the growth of tourism in Kashmir Valley. As a part of study, role of technology to promote sustainable tourism growth and negatives of internet blockades are extensively explored. The simple trend analysis shows that the Tourist Influx increases in years of normalcy and falls drastically in years of disturbance. The use of technology and innovation will bring significant employment and economic benefits not only to tourism industry but also to other allied sectors of industry. However, the shutdown of internet frequently is paralyzing the day-to-day life. As a result of which an environment of fear and uncertainty is created. The study suggests that policy makers need to take broad overview of situation and a rule-based policy needed to be followed with regard to internet shutdowns. The article recommends that the institutions and stakeholders should try for comprehensive steps to ensure peace, security, and stability

Chuyển đổi kỹ thuật số là quá trình con người thay đổi cách sống, làm việc và sản xuất bằng công nghệ kỹ thuật số. Để làm được điều đó, cần có sự thay đổi cả về phương thức quản lý và thực tiễn giảng dạy trong các trường đại học. Tức là các trường đại học phải ứng dụng công nghệ thông tin hiện đại để đáp ứng nhu cầu học tập ngày càng cao của sinh viên và giảng viên, tạo ra một môi trường học tập mà mọi thứ đều được kết nối. Đây là một hệ sinh thái kết hợp công nghệ, dịch vụ và bảo mật để thu hẹp khoảng cách kỹ thuật số. Điều đó sẽ tạo ra trải nghiệm học tập hợp tác, tương tác và cá nhân hóa. Chuyển đổi kỹ thuật số là sự chuyển đổi từ một cách sống truyền thống, hướng tới cách sống và làm việc với cả phiên bản kỹ thuật số của các thực thể và kết nối của chúng trong không gian kỹ thuật số. Nghiên cứu nhằm phân tích nhu cầu hình thành lĩnh vực đào tạo kinh tế số nhằm tạo ra nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao hoạt động trong môi trường kinh tế số. Nghiên cứu sử dụng kết hợp phương pháp nghiên cứu định tính và nghiên cứu định lượng. Đặc biệt, nghiên cứu định tính sử dụng phương pháp phỏng vấn sâu đối với các chuyên gia bao gồm các nhà lãnh đạo, quản lý tại các trường đại học, các nhà quản lý doanh nghiệp. Mục đích là khám phá các khía cạnh ảnh hưởng của cuộc cách mạng công nghiệp 4.0 đến quá trình đào tạo nguồn nhân lực để đáp ứng cho các doanh nghiệp trong bối cảnh chuyển đổi số. Kế tiếp, Các nghiên cứu định lượng được thực hiện nhằm phân tích, đánh giá mối quan hệ giữa quá trình đào tạo và cung ứng lao động cho doanh nghiệp nhằm thích ứng với bối cảnh chuyển đổi số. Bài báo cũng đưa ra những nhận xét, khuyến nghị về các giải pháp đổi mới hoạt động đào tạo thích ứng với xu thế chuyển đổi số.  
SOCIAL POLARIZATION AND ITS EFFECTS ON PUBLIC INVESTMENTS
No full textIn democratic countries, at both local and national level, voters expect a fair and effective provision of services for them. Politicians, on the other hand, strive to increase services for pressure and interest groups and politically close citizens instead of democratic components. Bureaucracy grounds generally steers investments by being on the axis and under the influence of political polarization. This situation both causes the public resources to be spent on inefficient areas and prepares the ground for the emergence of economic and social problems due to polarization. Central government having sufficient resources is decisive in this. However, this situation causes the activity of the state to expand enormously. The main purpose of this study is to examine how social polarization has an impact on public investments at local and central levels. In this study, Turkey\u27s public investment with the local administrations \u27s politic power to be used to express dummy variable is the party and the use of public resources that might influence the polarization was analyzed by Hausman test. The findings strongly demonstrated that polarization has a significant effect on public investment. In addition, according to the other findings of the research, it can be concluded that the negative effects of political polarization on public investments also bring about social polarization and indirectly paves the way for another problem such as injustice in income distribution. In order to prevent polarization, a number of recommendations are given to politicians to leave certain duties of the central government and the authority to use income sources to local administrations to reduce political and social polarization

No full textPromotion has the ability to inform and attract potential buyers to the points of sale of the tourist product, in order to satisfy the needs and desires of customers/tourists and thus increase the economic efficiency of tourism activities. Permanent information is a major requirement, an indispensable factor of any sales process, regardless of the nature of the product offered on the market. This information/promotion is vital in a modern market economy, where it does not matter if the products are of good quality, if potential consumers do not know about them, they risk not being sold. In order to eliminate these risks, it is necessary to provide customers/tourists with permanent information on the advantages of our products compared to those of our competitors. We point out that promotion has the role of attracting new customers, reminding customers of the advantages of our products and encouraging customers to buy our products to satisfy their needs. In this context we observe that, promotion in the modern economy stimulates, develops and orients consumer needs. The variable of promotion is also found in the marketing mix structure (promotion is one of the four variables)

No full textThe development of the evolution of accounting software has made significant changes to the ease of financial information and decision making for leaders in each organizational unit, especially for accountants who work in the audit department (as auditors) and in accounting (as auditees). The purpose of this study is to determine the essence of satisfaction for auditors and auditors behind the evolution of accounting software. This research is a qualitative research with interpretive phenomenology method. The research data were obtained through in-depth interviews and observations. The results showed that each informant has his own perception about the evolution of accounting software. Informants (auditors and auditees) consider that the evolution of accounting software provides convenience and satisfaction in the process of completing their work as accountants, especially in presenting data quickly and accurately. Furthermore, informants have confidence in carrying out their duties as accountants even though they are not from an accounting education background because accounting software provides applications that are easy to learn and familiar to ordinary people. Accountants are required to be professional in their fields because their work is not just debiting, posting and printing financial reports because accounting software has not been able to carry out some of the functions of accountants in validating transaction data, making analyzes, conducting reconciliation, evaluating and recommendations, therefore accountants are required to have competence and expertise to support optimal performance. As a recommendation from the informant to the leaders of each organization that even though the evolution of accounting software has provided job satisfaction and helped the work processes of accountants, to achieve good and optimal performance is largely determined by the principle of the right man on the right place
