QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF BUSINESS COMMUNICATION
Considering that the analysis of any specialized language should have a representative set of terms, this paper describes the selection of specific Romanian business terms, extracted and processed from a self-compiled corpus, to carry out a quantitative and qualitative analysis of Romanian business terminology in order to build an updated Romanian-English glossary of business terms and collocations. The analysis of these linguistic structures is based on the use of analytical techniques that belong to corpus linguistics as it would be impossible to detect them intuitively. The study focuses on the design of a real corpus extracted from the Romanian business environment. The objective of this paper is to describe the methodology followed in order to compile a corpus for Romanian business language and propose a list of 100 most frequent business words in Romanian. This proposal is made after the compilation and analysis of a study corpus of approx. 1 million words extracted from 8 genres belonging to written business communication. The present paper is part of a larger study that carried out a contrastive analysis of the Romanian and English business languages in order to find similarities and differences between the two target languages

USING GENETIC ALGORITHMS FOR A REGIONALIZATION PROBLEM
In this paper I want to present the results obtained by using an algorithm in calculating locations for regional hospitals that could be built in Romania. The idea of regional hospitals in Romania have been discussed for some time in the local press, the final locations being established, by those responsible, in the first 8 cities, taken according to the number of inhabitants, as well as a city in the center of the country. In this approach we use a genetic algorithm, a method inspired by natural evolution, which will give us a series of alternative results to the solution proposed by officials. As in the official version, in the used method, to obtain the results we will take into account the population, but not only within the most populated localities, but within a larger number of localities from the country. The population of these localities, weighted with the distance between them and the possible solutions will contribute to the calculation of the final solution
RUSSIAN GRAIN FROM SIBERIA: EXPORT POTENTIAL, PRIORITY SALES MARKETS
The study identifies the possibilities of the grain complex of Siberia to supply grain for export. The role of the state and the main regulatory documents of the federal and regional levels, aimed at the development of the grain market and its export from Siberia, have been determined. Using data from the Federal Customs Service of Russia, an analysis of grain exports by regions of Siberia and grain crops for 2017-2019 was carried out. The factors hindering the export of Siberian grain have been warned. The study presents a forecast of grain exports by the regions of Siberia until 2025, as well as its promising directions and priority sales markets. To identify trends in the development of grain exports, the main commodity groups (wheat, rye, barley, oats, buckwheat) were considered. Priority sales markets have been identified, to which supplies should be increased, while solving transport and logistics problems, overcoming tariff and non-tariff barriers
IMPACT OF BREXIT ON UK-EU TRADE RELATIONSHIP
This research analyses the different scenarios for the trade relationship between the UK and the EU after Brexit. It analyses three possible models and covers ten years after Brexit. The first one, using the comparative methodology, examines the possibility and consequences of reaching a deal under existing arrangements that the EU has with non-EU countries. The second model will be presented in case of „no-deal” and trade relations under WTO rules. The third model will be analyzed by the computable general equilibrium (CGE) model. All these models suggest that Brexit will change the future trade relationship between UK and EU economy, and consequently will have a significant impact on the UK economy. This is because researches in this context suggest that the EU will impose several restrictions on the British economy after Brexit, which will ultimately have a significant negative impact on its trade within the European market

Due to the significant increase in popularity, ETFs allow investors to diversify their portfolios through a basket of assets from different countries that are traded on international stock markets. The aim of this study is to analyze the performance of ETFs on different continents. The sample in this research is 40 ETFs listed on the stock exchanges in the USA, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Emerging markets. The monitoring period is 2015 to 2019. Standard indicators such as Tracking error, Jensen alpha, Treynor ratio, Appraisal ratio, Information ratio are used to evaluate ETFs performance. The results of this research showed that ETFs from the USA show the best performance, according to the selected measurement methods. The Treynor ratio has also been shown to be skewed, as ETFs with identical systemic risk but different overall risk are not quantified correctly

THE SHADOWY SIDE OF INNOVATION - with an ecological perspective -
For more than one century, innovation has been the key to companies\u27 success and competitiveness. Actually, besides inventions, innovations have always brought some advantages to those economic competitors, whether they were farmers, craftsmen and traders, who understood to apply them in their daily activities. The industrial revolution of the early 19th century would not have been possible without the widespread application of inventions and innovations, the positive effects of which were immediately seen: the increase in the average income of the population and the Gross Domestic Product in industrialized countries. The negative effects would be observed after many years, effects that influenced the health of people, environmental pollution and the increase of economic gaps between countries. This paper tries to highlight a series of unwanted or unexpected consequences of innovation "at any cost", motivated only by the increase in sales of companies. For more than one century, innovation has been the key to companies\u27 success and competitiveness.
