No full textThe arrival of tourists from China to Indonesia has an impact on the country\u27s foreign exchange, but there are also negative influences as reported by various world media that deplore the bad behavior of tourists from China. Many world mass media have published the bad behavior of them. In Manado itself there is no significant information about the bad behavior practiced by tourists from China. However, some information stated that bad behavior also occurred on Bunaken Island, but only local people on Bunaken Island know better because they interact with the them. This study aims to examine the assessment of local communities of the behavior of Chinese tourists on Bunaken Island, National Marine Park, North Sulawesi Province. The analytical method used is descriptive. The research instruments used are questionnaires, and Interview. Likert scale is used to categorize each question and use score interpretation to facilitate answers to respondents\u27 assessments. The analysis used is descriptive through tables and percentages, as well as testing of the validity and reliability. The findings show that local people consider that Chinese tourists tend to be destructive and unfamiliar, so it gets attention from the tour manager to organize visitors who enter the tourist location

Employment policy can be defined as a set of programs and opportunities through which the state tries to increase the rate of employment in the country. Ensuring the effective employment of the population is extremely important for accelerating the economic development in the country and solving existing social problems.
When implementing the employment policy, it is important to focus on the formation of human capital. Human capital is the main factor in the formation of innovative economy and knowledge economy as a post-development high level. It is influenced by education, knowledge, skills, competencies, attitudes, health and well-being. Investing in human capital, as well as investing in physical capital, increases the labor productivity of individuals, it has a significant impact on the quantitative and qualitative development of working capacity. The availability of qualified workforce ensures both the increase of labor productivity and the attraction of investments in production

A virtuous position at first glance and one leader wants to aspire to in theory but frequently fail at in practice.
The current paper strives to underline the need of ethical conduct at both leader and stakeholders’ level and proposes the introduction of a code of ethical principles to be followed and introduced by the leader and all stakeholders in an organization. Such a code should promote a set of well-established principles to be agreed and followed by the parties involved. A five criteria set is proposed for the development of further codes of conduct, that will lead to more appropriate judgements and findings

An insightful study on Homestay tourist satisfaction based on destination attribute’s performance with reference to Darjeeling hills (India)
No full textBlessed with a plethora of scenic bountiful natural attractions with the grandeur of mighty Himalayan peaks, waterfalls, flora and faunas, the ‘Queen of Hills’-Darjeeling being one of highly googled hill-destinations has been witnessing a burgeoning growth of homestay based tourism in offbeat rural parts in and around Darjeeling-hills resulting equitable & inclusive socio-economic growth, prosperity and a holistic development in remote hilly locations. The present study attempts to ventilate an insightful understanding of homestay tourist satisfaction & dissatisfaction with a three-phased analysis, initially with Kano’s-model to evaluate tourist-satisfaction based on identified destination parameters under 5 broad themes of attraction, accommodation, amenities, activities and accessibility. Penalty-Reward-Contrast-Analysis was applied to assess the texture of relationship between tourist-satisfaction and homestay-host’s service-quality and finally Asymmetric-Impact-Performance-Analysis was used to validate findings of Kano’s-model and also to identify homestay parameters\u27 priority in generating homestay guest’s satisfaction considering nonlinearity and impact of attribute’s performance on tourist’s mindset
A GRAPHIC REVIEW OF STUDIES ON COASTAL TOURISM AND BATHING WATER QUALITY
No full textCoastal tourism is a significant part of the contemporary tourism, which is growing more and more due to the increasing world population with recreational needs. A part of the coastal tourism refers to using the coastal seawater for recreational activities, such as bathing. The bathing water quality is important for tourist fluxes and maintaining it at high standards is a challenge because of the today\u27s accelerated changes of the natural environment. Using the bibliometric tools biblioshiny and VOSviewer, the main research themes and keywords of some specific research studies (from Web of Science Core Collection) are presented in a graphic form by using a tree map, a production and collaboration map, a three-field plot and a co-occurrence network map. Some of the common words in the selected scientific literature are: “economy”, “management”, “improvement”, “recreational activities”, “wastewater”, “sewage”, “contamination”, “pollution”, “Escherichia coli”, “enterococci”, “model”. Frequently mentioned places are Brazil and Adriatic Sea. An upgraded management of the coastal areas is needed for a sustainable tourism in the near future
The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Tourism Trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina
No full textDue to its favorable geographical location, natural resources, attractive cultural and historical heritage, internationally recognized events, gastronomy, and status as a still relatively undiscovered destination for the leading emitting tourist markets, Bosnia and Herzegovina has the prerequisites for the successful development of tourism. Therefore, in the first decades of the 21st century, a continuous increase in domestic and foreign tourists was recorded in this country. However, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on tourism trends in the world and in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The pandemic crisis decreased the number of foreign tourists and tourism remittances. Given the potential of the tourism industry, this study aims to determine how the COVID-19 pandemic has altered trends and spatial patterns of tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The spatiotemporal analysis revealed that this pandemic considerably lowered the size of the tourism industry in this country and affected spatial patterns of tourism flows, but by 2021 and 2022, the industry had already begun to recover. The results of the study provide new insights into tourism trends and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism industry and can serve for future tourism research and development in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Study case on economic and financial crime in Germany
No full textThe paper analyzes the relationship between various economic and financial crimes such as corruption, tax evasion, and money laundering as a function of age, gender, education level, and occupation. The methodology is based on a survey in Germany with 1,742 responses and is underpinned by statistical models such as the chi-square and intensity assessment. The results suggest that education and related awareness of the importance and significance of combating financial and economic crime is a potentially key factor. Also of great importance are age and, to some extent, occupational status. The results represent a valuable contribution especially for states, governments, schools, but also for the interested public. The results are not only important for Germany, but also for other countries that can use the survey as an example and learn from it
QUALITY OF SERVICE MONITORING IN ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS
No full textThe Romanian regulations tend to align to European ones concerning the assurance of the quality of power distribution in terms of frequency stability, waveform distortion and the continuity of supplying. The main responsibility for monitoring the quality of energy parameters is of the distribution operators which are doing it more or less effective and transparent. Despite the fact that Romanian regulations stipulate that distribution operators must pay compensation to consumers under certain conditions that will be presented below, no one seems to be interested in investigating the circumstances that could compel operators to pay compensation. This paper present a solution for monitoring the continuity of the power supply that can be used by both consumers and operators. It involves a small piece of hardware equipment driven by a micro-controller which log all power outages and of the exceeding limit values for the nominal voltage, displaying the contents of the log on demand
