Security Based SCURM Process (SUBSCRUM) For Secure Agile Development
No full textThis study presents an integrated approach for the consideration of security during agile development. A security-based SCRUM process (SBSCRUM) is introduced by taking advantage of the security patterns presented by security experts which contains the solution for a security threat. In the proposed security based SCRUM process the SCRUM team will be responsible for identifying the expected security threats to the system, in which all the expected threats to the system are modelled using mis-use case diagrams and then these modelled threats are mitigated using the security patterns which provide detailed solution to mitigate the threats and at final stage the security testing is performed to ensure that all the security threats identified are mitigated using security patterns. SBSCRUM is evaluated through the case studies in this paper. SBSCRUM will enable the software developers to develop secure software using agile development methods which lacks in the past
Patterns of Nanoporous Spherical Packing Emerging under Influence of Curvature and Confinement
Get PDFNanoporous membranes are popular in nanotechnology due to biomedical and industrial applications. During the past decade, experimental, theoretical and computational research into porous membranes and soft materials has opened up new mathematical dimensions. In bulk, diblock copolymers exhibit ordered morphologies such as parallel matrices of lamellae, bicontinuous matrices of gyroids, hexagonal matrices of cylinders and body-centred cubic matrices of spheres. In melt, confinement plays an essential role in tuning the frustration of the diblock copolymer system to predict more nanostructures. These nanostructures depend on the composition of the copolymers, their confining geometries and the degree of structural frustration. An isotropic 9-point stencil for Laplacian is constructed. The discrete finite-difference technique is used in polar grids to discretize the macromolecule of the diblock copolymer system to study spherical patterns to study the effect of curvature and confinement with a well-known and efficient cell dynamic simulation model. Intel FORTRAN (IFORT) codes are generated to run the CDS model and visualisation of simulation results is observed with the help of OPENDX. A comparison of the proposed study with existing experimental and computational studies is also presented

Get PDFIn single-variable calculus, differential equation models for population dynamics are of high importance and by developing these ordinary differential equation (ODE) models, a practical and intelligible approach can be created to partial differential equations (PDEs). This paper researches focus on PDE models for migrations, population spread and location-dependent carrying capacities. However, logistic equation from which the PDE models develop include the diffusion equation, traveling wave equation, and building blocks with location-dependent parameters. This methodology is suitable for multivariable calculus lecture, evaluation task, and problem activity. A Genre-Based Analysis of Political Speeches of Selected Pakistani Prime Ministers in The UN General Assembly
Get PDFThis study consists of gender-based exploration of two political speeches that have been delivered by Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan at the UN General Assembly. This research aims to investigate the cognitive structure of political speeches and uncover the typical strategies employed by selected politicians to achieve their communicative goals. Bhatia\u27s (1993) genre analysis model is taken as theoretical framework. This research is qualitative in nature and it argues that political addresses at the UN Assembly are followed by certain protocols, which distinguish them as a political subcategory. The findings demonstrate that selected prime ministers conform to this genre\u27s structure to advance their political agendas. Additionally, it reveals that both chosen speakers employ similar strategies for the argumentative aspect of their speeches, choosing strategies based on their respective communicative objectives. It is anticipated that this research will pave a road for upcoming scholars by providing novel insights about usefulness of genre analysis in multiple contexts and it also helps them to get a lucid understanding of the political goals and the projected perception of Pakistan on the global stage
Skill- Based Education in an Industrial city of Pakistan
Get PDFIn this study, the need for Skill- based education at secondary school level in Pakistan was analyzed with a focus on local need of the areas. The research examined the integration of skill-related subjects in secondary school curricula and investigated the skill set required in the industrial sector. To understand the current situation, government policies were reviewed and major challenges in implementing skill- based education were highlighted. It was a qualitative research with an exploratory research design. Tehsil Gujranwala was the selected study area. Elite interviews with representatives of business, Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), and Gujranwala school heads were conducted to gather data. Three documents were analyzed i.e., textbooks of technical courses taught at secondary school level, National Education Policy 2017, and the Punjab Growth Strategy 2018. The results painted a bleak picture of the state of skill- based education in the country. All the stakeholders involved lacked ambition, communication, and teamwork. The objectives of government initiatives have not been met because of poor management of resources and misuse of finances. The respondents suggested that the media and NGOs might help to emphasize the value of skill- based education pertaining to the local needs. It was crucial to modify the curriculum to incorporate skill- based education into general education for the benefit of individuals, society, and ultimately socioeconomic development at national level

Evaluation of Machine Learning Algorithms on Software Fault Estimation (SFE)
Get PDF Software Fault Estimation (SFE) approaches are being utilized to develop error free and cost friendly software. In this regard, machine learning algorithms are utilized to efficiently estimate the faults in the software. In this study, we implement eight machine learning based algorithms such as Long Short Term Memory networks (LSTM), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Recurrent Neural networks (RNN), Graph Neural Network (GNN), Multi Layer Perception (MLP), Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, and Entropy using logistic regression model. All the algorithms are applied to the promise dataset for performance evaluation based on performance benchmarks such as recall, accuracy, and precision. MLP and LSTM algorithms showed promising results as compared to the other algorithms in terms of precision, accuracy, and recall. LSTM showed 0.83,0.85, and 0.8% precision, accuracy,and recall, respectively whereas RNN showed 0.79%, 0.60, and 0.79% recall, precision, and accuracy, respectively

This paper examines the unique features of his Quranic commentary, focusing specifically on his strategic use of classical Arabic poetry to clarify and elaborate on the meanings of Quranic verses.The study investigates how Al-Shawkani utilized poetic references to enrich the understanding of linguistic nuances, cultural contexts, and rhetorical expressions within the Quran. By referencing relevant examples from his tafsir, the research demonstrates the depth of his literary acumen and his ability to connect Quranic themes with the broader Arabic literary tradition.The findings of this study emphasize the scholarly value of Al-Shawkani’s methodology, revealing how his integration of poetry serves not only as a linguistic aid but also as a bridge between the Quran’s divine message and the cultural fabric of Arabic poetry. This paper concludes that his work remains a significant contribution to Quranic studies, offering valuable insights for contemporary scholars and students of Islamic Studies

He was a highly prolific writer and orator of his time. Through his books and journals, he instilled his ideologies and thoughts to the people minds, which resulted in the formation of Jama’at-i-Islami. Jama’at-i-Islami was founded at Lahore on August 25, 1941, and Syed Maududi was unanimously appointed its head. Subsequently, he selected the members of the Executive Committee after considering the procedures of the Jamaat. Its areas of implementation included various fields such as Education and Teaching, Publication and Preaching, Administration of Jamaat Affairs and Organized under management. Department of finance and invitation and preaching. In addition, sub-divisional offices are attached to these departments through which Jamaat-e-Islami implements its policies. The Jamaat places special emphasis on the moral and spiritual training of its members. Even Maulana Maududi himself has survived on such written assets that are enough to earn praise and appreciation for the services rendered by Jamaat-e-Islami in the field of Islamic studies. Such as, ‘Tafhim Al Qur’ān’‘Diniyaat’ (It has been translated almost in 36 languages.[i]) Khelafat O Molookiyat’ Purdah’ Sarvar e Alam’ Al Jihad Fi Al Islam’‘Masala e Quamiyat Aur Musalman’ and ‘Maujooda Siyasi Kashmakash’ etc.
