ANALISIS INTERVENSI STBM TERHADAP KEJADIAN DIARE DI WILAYAH PUSKESMAS RAJABASA INDAH KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG
Bandar Lampung menempati urutan kedua dari 15 kabupaten dengan kasus diare tertinggi di Lampung pada tahun 2020. Distribusi di wilayah Puskesmas Rajabasa Indah kasus diare tertinggi tahun 2021 sebanyak 427 kasus. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan penerapan lima pilar STBM dengan kejadian diare di wilayah Puskesmas Rajabasa Indah. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan cross Sectional. Populasi berjumlah 12.280 rumah tangga, dan sampel sebanyak 100 rumah tangga yang dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan quisioner. Analisis data secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan proporsi rumah tangga yang mengalami kejadian diare selama tiga bulan terakhir sebanyak 34%. Ditemukan 5% rumah tangga masih buang air besar sembarangan, tidak cuci tangan pakai sabun (13%), tidak mengelolaan minuman dan makanan dengan baik (20%), tidak melakukan pengamanan sampah rumah tangga dengan baik (23%), dan mengelola limbah cair rumah tangga secara baik (28%). Efek Kombinasi Inisiasi Menyusu Dini dan I Love You Massage terhadap Breastfeeding Jaundice pada Bayi Baru Lahir
Latar Belakang: Ikterus neonatorum merupakan masalah umum pada neonatal yang dapat dicegah dan diobati, tetapi membiarkan tidak diobati dapat berakhir pada kematian. Pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan antara lain tindakan inisiasi menyusu dini dan pemijatan yang lemput. Penelitian bertujuan merekomendasikan efek kombinasi intervensi pemberian asi secara dini dikombinasikan dengan I Love You Massage terhadap penurunan insidens breastfeeding jaundice.Metode:Non-randomized controlled trial dengan posttest only control group sebagai desain penelitian ini. Kelompok intervensi (n=22) diberikaninsisiasi menyusu dini dan I Love You Massage dan kelompok kontrol (n=22) diberikan insisiasi menyusu dini yang dilakukan selama 3-5 hari. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square dengan taraf kemaknaan (α) 0,05. Hasil:Hasil studi menunjukkan breastfeeding jaundicepada kelompok intervensi lebih rendah (40,9%) dibandingkan kelompok control (73%). Uji statistik menemukan terdapat pengaruh inisiasi menyusu dini dan I Love You Massage terhadap pencegahan breastfeeding jaundice (0.033). Simpulan: Pemberian kombinasi inisasi menyusu dini dan I Love Massage mampu menurunkan breastfeeding jaundice. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi pencegahan breastfeeding jaundice yang dapat dilakukan oleh ibu segera setelah melahirkan.  Background: Neonatal jaundice is a common problem in neonates that can be prevented and treated, but left untreated can lead to death. Prevention that can be done includes early initiation of breastfeeding and gentle massage. Purpose: This study aims to recommend the effect of a combination of early breastfeeding intervention combined with I Love You Massage on reducing the incidence of breastfeeding jaundice. Methods: Non-randomized controlled trial with posttest only control group as the design of this study. The intervention group (n=22) was given early initiation of breastfeeding and I Love You Massage and the control group (n=22) was given early initiation of breastfeeding for 3-5 days. Data analysis used the chi-square test with a significance level (α) of 0.05. Results: The results showed that breastfeeding jaundice in the intervention group was lower (40.9%) than in the control group (73%). The statistical test found that there was an effect of early initiation of breastfeeding and I Love You Massage on the prevention of breastfeeding jaundice (0.033). Conclusion: The combination of early initiation of breastfeeding and I Love Massage can reduce breastfeeding jaundice. This study contributes to the prevention of breastfeeding jaundice that mothers can do immediately after giving birth.Â
Uji Daya Hambat Perasan Air Kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) sebagai Antibakteri terhadap Pertumbuhan Bakteri Escherichia coli
Diarrhea cases in Indonesia were 270/1000 population or 7,265,013 cases occurred at all ages with a mortality rate (CFR) of 4.76% in 2018. Treatment of diarrhea can be done by giving antibiotics such as Cefotaxime, Ciprofloxacin, Gentamicin, Ampicillin, Metronidazole, Co-trioxide, Ceftriaxone, and Erythromycin. However, inappropriate use of antibiotics can lead to bacterial resistance. Turmeric is a medicinal plant that contains curcumin and essential oils that can inhibit the growth of bacteria. There are 24 essential oils in turmeric, which are dominated by turmerone (35.16%), ar-turmerone (25.20%), curlon (18.21%), and ar-curcumin (3.74%). Turmeric water obtained through juice has the potential as an antibacterial agent. This study is a pure experiment using a post-test-only control group design by examining the effect of turmeric juice (Curcuma domestica Val.) as an antibacterial of Escherichia coli bacteria. The results showed the ability of turmeric juice to inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria. The concentration of turmeric juice was able to produce an inhibition zone at concentrations ranging from 40% at 14 mm and the highest concentration at 100% at 24 mm. The results of the One Way Anova test showed that the results were not significant because the p-value>0.05 (p-value=0.351). This means that the average diameter of the inhibition at the concentration of turmeric juice 40%, 55%, 70%, 85%, and 100% did not have a significant difference. Turmeric juice has effectiveness in inhibiting the growth of E.coli bacteria
HUBUNGAN PERILAKU 3M-PLUS DENGAN KEJADIAN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE DI KABUPATEN SINTANG
Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan di Indonesia, karena sering menimbulkan Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) dan kematian. Berbagai program telah dilakukan, termasuk kampanye 3M Plus, namun DBD masih tetap tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perilaku 3M Plus dengan kejadian DBD. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan kasus-kontrol. Sebanyak 62 rumah tangga (31 kasus dan 31 kontrol) dipilih secara acak dan diikutkan dalam penelitian. Sembilan variabel (menutup TPA, menguras TPA, menyingkirkan sampah, memelihara ikan pemakan jentik, menggantung pakaian, penggunaan kawat kasa, penggunaan obat anti nyamuk, dan penggunaan larvasida) diobservasi pada setiap rumah tangga sampel. Hasil observasi dikelompokkan menjadi dua kategori, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan Chi-square dan Odds Ratio. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan lima faktor risiko perilaku terhadap kejadian DBD, yaitu menguras TPA (OR=5,769; 95% CI 1,843-18,064), menyingkirkan/mendaur sampah (OR=3,325; 95% CI 1,171-9,442), memasang kawat kasa (OR=5,043; 95% CI 1,010-26,086), menggantung pakaian (OR=6,905; 95% CI 1,368-34,846), menggunakan obat anti nyamuk (OR=3,713; 1,030-13,381). Sedangkan empat variabel lainnya tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna, yaitu menutup TPA, memelihara ikan pemakan jentik, penggunaan kelambu, dan penggunaan larvasida. Penelitian telah membuktikan bahwa perilaku rumah tangga berkaitan erat dengan kejadian DBD. Diperlukan keterlibatan semua pihak untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam pemberantasan vektor dan pencegahan DB
EFEKTIVITAS PENURUNAN SURFAKTAN PADA AIR LIMBAH CUCI TANGAN MENGGUNAKAN FILTRASI “KELARAâ€
Surfaktan adalah salah satu komponen senyawa kimia yang penting dalam detergen, produk yang paling banyak digunakan pada dalam aspek pembersihan. Limbah detergen dengan konsentrasi tinggi akan menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui kadar surfaktan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan filtrasi KELARA (kerikil, zeolite, arang aktif dan pasir). Penelitian adalah Experiment Quasi dengan desain Pre test – Post test with Control Group. Sampel (16 kali ulangan) adalah air buangan cuci tangan pakai sabun, diambil dari bak pembuangan wastafel portable yang dialirkan secara down flow. Tabung filter dibuat dengan ketinggian 60 cm, diisi media kerikil (5 cm), zeolite (10 cm), arang aktif (15), dan pasir (10 cm). Pemeriksaan surfaktan dengan metode spektrofotometri. Data dianalisis dengan t Test pada Alpha 5%. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai surfaktan sebelum perlakuan sebesar 2,40 mg/l, dan sesudah perlakuan menjadi 2,00 mg/l, terjadi penurunan sebesar 1,40 mg/l (41,07%). Sementara pada kelompok kontrol dari 3,05 mg/l meningkat menjadi 3,43 mg/l. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (p-value=0,048). Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna. Metode filtrasi KELARA mampu menurunkan nilai surfaktan sebesar 41,07%. Metode ini layak diterapkan untuk mengurangi risiko pencemaran lingkungan dan gangguan kesehatan
Analisis Kinerja Komposting Sampah Model Takakura
The previous takakura composting model used takakura baskets covered with cloth and cardboard to produce leachate through the wastebasket process which seeped and wetted the cloth and cardboard. It was also found that the increase in the C/N ratio did not meet the requirements. Therefore an innovation was carried out in this study which aims to determine the effectiveness of making compost with the Takakura Model which uses a plastic bucket with filter media to accommodate the leachate produced so that the leachate can also be used as raw material for liquid fertilizer. The materials used are organic waste, EM4, and cow dung in the community in Way Layap Hamlet, Hajimena Village, Natar District. This research is an experiment. The independent variables in this study were 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm filter diameters for buckets, cow dung, organic waste, and EM4. The dependent variable in this study was the quality of compost (organic C, macronutrients (N+P2O5+K2O), C/N ratio, and pH for 15 days. The results obtained were compost quality (organic C 15.63%, macronutrients (N+ P2O5+) K2O) ranges from (6.71% -7.87%), C/N ratio ranges from (13.44-16.57) and pH 7-8.5 all meet standards according to SNI 7763: 2018. Leachate originating from the composting process can be used as liquid fertilizer. Future research needs to use a more varied raw material and the addition of other bio activators to speed up composting
Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Komitmen Pencegahan Penularan Tuberkulosis Paru
Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the top ten causes of death and is a top priority in the world. Bandar Lampung city is one of the cities with a low CDR of 63% in 2019, which indicates that TB transmission is still high. The theory of the Health Promotion Model in which prevention can be done by changing behavior is reinforced by a commitment to plan action. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors related to the commitment to prevent pulmonary TB transmission at Bandar Lampung City Health Center in 2021. This type of research was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique was multistage cluster-random sampling so 66 respondents were obtained. Data analysis was univariate, bivariate, and multivariate. There is a relationship between perceived barriers (p-value=0,015), affect related-activity (p-value=0,015) and perceived interpersonal influence (p-value=0,002) with commitment in prevention. Meanwhile, perceived benefits (p-value=0,143), self-efficacy (p-value=0,666) and perceived situational influence (p-value=0,903) were not. Perception of interpersonal influence is the most dominant factor related to the commitment to prevent pulmonary TB transmission (OR:11,52 (2,38-55,57)).Â
Teknologi Elektroflokulasi Bertingkat Kombinasi Media Pasir - Arang Aktif sebagai Pengolahan Limbah Cair Industri Tapioka
Tapioca industrial waste is still a problem and needs to be treated before being discharged into water bodies. The waste generated can be in the form of solid waste, gas waste, and liquid waste. This research is an experimental study and uses tapioca industrial wastewater samples which previously measured the parameters of TSS, BOD, COD, PH, and odor. Then processing is carried out by flowing continuously into the processor with multilevel electro flocculation technology, a combination of activated charcoal sand media with 12-volt electric current using control without activated charcoal sand media. The purpose of the study was to determine the electro flocculation ability of the combination of sand-activated charcoal media (thickness variations of 20cm, 40cm, 60cm, 80cm) in processing tapioca waste. The results showed a decrease in the levels of TSS, BOD, COD, pH, and odor. The most effective reduction was in the variation of activated charcoal sand media with a thickness of 60 cm. The results of the statistical test showed differences in the level of reduction in the pollutant content of tapioca waste TSS, BOD, COD, pH, and odor in the multistage electro flocculation process in the combination of sand–activated charcoal media with a p-value=0.00. The results of the study can be used as an alternative in the processing of tapioca industrial wastewater
Pengaruh Sentrifugasi Spesimen Darah Anemia Terhadap Derajat Aglutinasi Pemeriksaan Golongan Darah Metode Slide
Anemic patients often have low hemoglobin and red blood cell level, which on the slide method and ABO system blood type test is used to obtain low degree of agglutination. Addition of treatment of a centrifugation was used to obtain a stronger degree of agglutination. The purpose of this research was to determine the difference degree of agglutination between centrifuged and uncentrifuged blood specimens in anemic patients. Quasi experimental research with non-equivalent control group design was conducted in March 2022 at the Hematology Laboratory, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. The research sample were 16 specimens of anemic patients for slide method and ABO system blood type test. All samples were checked for blood type testbefore being centrifuged, then re-checked after the centrifugation there only concentrated red blood cell deposit were taken with only a small amount of plasma. The data from the test were analyzed using the Kruskal Wallis method. Comparison anti-A, anti-B, and anti-AB between centrifuged and uncentrifuged blood specimens there was a significant difference (p value < 0,005 means p = 0,002). The result showed that there were effect by centrifugation for the degree of agglutination improved better in centrifuged if compared with uncentrifugedanemicpatients blood specimens on blood type test slide method.Â
