Islamic education for disabilities: new model for developing Islamic parenting in Integrated Blind Orphanage of Aisyiyah
This study proposes Islamic education for disabilities as a new way of developingan Islamic parenting model applied at the integrated blind orphanages of AisyiyahPonorogo, Indonesia. This research method is a qualitative study using in-depthinterview techniques, participant observation, documentation, and content analysis. This study found that the Islamic parenting model applied at the Aisyiyah Ponorogo is more dominated by authoritative parenting styles than permissiveand authoritarian parenting. This finding confirms criticism and a solutionto Baumrind’s parenting theory on the one hand. It means that the design ofauthoritative and Islamic parenting is more helpful in producing a parentingstyle oriented towards a more positive aspect, achieving, independent, religious, responsible, and closer to the child’s future. The Islamic-based parenting modelapplies the parental model of flexibility and adaptability involving some aspects ofparenting style, work program, paradigm, method, and instrument. The research’ssignificance is to understand the Islamic parenting model applied to integratedblind orphanages of Aisyiyah Ponorogo that can be used as role models for otherorphanages throughout Indonesia. The current research brings value and can beused as a lesson learned for other Muslim communities in Indonesia
Muhammadiyah, Sufism, and the quest for ‘authentic’ Islamic spirituality
This current paper explores and analyzes the trend of Sufism discourses and practices among Indonesian Muslim modernist-reformer organizations with special reference to the Muhammadiyah movement. The public tends to categorize Muhammadiyah as an anti-Sufism movement. A close study, however, shows that the existence of Sufism discourse and practices is a clear religious phenomenon among its individual figures and members, although organizationally Muhammadiyah does not recognize the existence of Sufi orders (tarekat). Based on the data collected from subjective-ethnographic notes of the organization’s programs and activities as well as literature studies of the organization documents, this study implements Stephen Katz’s philosophical model. It shows that Muhammadiyah is searching for Islamic spirituality by promoting the authenticity of tasawuf aspects, namely tauh}id or monotheism and akhlaq al-karimah or noble characters as reflected in the concept of ih}san. In this regard, Sufism is defined as a system of values and spirituality, not involved in a particular Sufi order. Muhammadiyah interprets Sufism as ethical values and ethos to do virtuous actions in society
Exploring Satisfaction as a Mediator and Moderator of Customer Loyalty in Islamic Banking
This study was conducted to analyze the drivers of loyalty within the context of Islamic banking. Service quality, trust, and satisfaction were examined as exogenous variables influencing loyalty. Furthermore, this study adopted a comprehensive approach by investigating the role of satisfaction as a moderator and mediator in this relationship. The results showed that the exogenous variables significantly impacted loyalty and satisfaction, as well as moderated and mediated the links between service quality, trust, and loyalty. The implications were substantial, particularly for Islamic banks and regulatory authorities. To effectively retain customers in the face of competition, banks prioritized initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality, fostering trust, and monitoring customer satisfaction. Additionally, regulatory bodies contributed by formulating supportive policies and programs that encouraged these practices. The study also challenged conventional perspectives by conducting a thorough analysis of the multifaceted roles played by customer satisfaction, contributing to a framework for optimizing loyalty through quality and trust. Future analysis could build on the insights generated, analyzing the dynamics of customer relationships within the Islamic banking sector. This timely study elucidated pathways for sustaining the growth of Islamic banking

Pedagogical Content Knowledge Analysis of Mathematics Teachers in Developing Lesson Plans on Ratio Topic
In preparing a Lesson Plan, a mathematics teacher should pay attention to pedagogical principles, including general and mathematical pedagogy. Teacher knowledge related to these two pedagogies is called Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK). This study aims to analyze the PCK of a mathematics teacher at a junior high school in Kebumen when preparing lesson plans and carrying out learning activities on Ratio Topics. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study design. The teacher’s PCK analyzed in this study was divided into two parts: general pedagogical knowledge and mathematical pedagogical knowledge. The results showed teachers' general pedagogical knowledge when learning was more complete than when compiling lesson plans. Likewise, in mathematical pedagogy, the teacher's mathematical pedagogy knowledge when carrying out education is better than when compiling lesson plans. This also indicates a mismatch between the lesson plans compiled by the teacher and the learning activities he carried out. Therefore, in compiling lesson plans, teachers are advised to pour all pedagogical content knowledge that they have so that the lesson plans are by the learning activities carried out by the teacher so that the entire learning process can be carried out more optimally
