    No full text
The increase in value of the Current Account Saving Account (CASA) and fee-based income (FBI) in Islamic banking industry is indicative of the optimal use of intellectual capital. This increase in the value of CASA and FBI does not enhance Islamic banking profitability in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aimed to measure and analyze the influence of CASA, FBI, and intellectual capital on profitability of Islamic banks. The populations of this study are all commercial Islamic banks from 2017 to 2020, from which a sample of 13 was selected using the purposive sampling method. Secondary data were collected from quarterly reports of the financial statements of the 13 Islamic banks from 2017 to 2020. This study adopted the panel data regression with a value-added method for the variable intellectual capital (VAIC). The results showed that CASA and intellectual capital had a significant positive effect on Islamic banking profitability, while FBI had no significant effect. It was recommended that in order to enhance banking profitability, the management of Islamic banks needed to improve CASAand intellectual capital by increasing the quantity of CASA funding and optimizing intellectual capital from human resources and technology

This development research was conducted at MTs Ma'arif Ketegan Sidoarjo. The types of data obtained are qualitative and quantitative data. The survey results showed that 50% of teachers developed their own affective assessment instruments but 87.5% of teachers admitted that these instruments were not valid and reliable. Then as many as 81.3% of teachers chose to use the observation method in assessing student effectiveness during online learning, because it is considered the easiest. As many as 62.5% of teachers do not understand that affective assessment of students in online learning can be done using the self-assessment method. The instrument is presented in a Google Form which contains 50 contextual statement points with a Likert Scale. The content validation score with the Aiken's V formula obtained a score of less than 1 for each statement item. Construct validation is a follow-up to the input of the supervisor and the theory that has been analyzed. External validation shows an increase in instrument models that are more applicable and adaptive. Instrument stability obtained a score of 0.885 so it was concluded that it was less reliable for a significant level of 1% and reliable for a significant level of 5%. The instrument equivalence data shows that there is no significant change in the results of the original and alternative instruments. Internal consistency with the Cronbach Alpha coefficient obtained a score of 0.92 with a very high category. The instrument also has a practical and efficient title. Thus this instrument is considered valid, reliable, useful, and valid. The response given by this instrument is said to be valid, reliable, practical and valid

The world of Islamic education in the disruptive era faces fundamental problems. This research critically analyzes these challenges using a literature study with a philosophical approach. Data were collected through documentation techniques for relevant references and using content analysis. The findings highlight vital issues about the relevance and accessibility of Islamic education in the era of disruption. Challenges include aligning or relevance of Islamic education with the evolving job market, societal needs, and technological advancements. Barriers to access to Islamic education include inadequate facilities, information dissemination gaps, transportation issues, teacher quality, and underrepresentation in marginalized groups and 3T areas. The government has implemented policies such as Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka, compulsory education, BOS funds, Indonesia Smart Card, frontline teachers, and zoning-based new student admissions. Practical challenges include differences of opinion, program incompatibility, limited public awareness, and complexity. This paper aims to describe how the evaluation of learning Arabic uses the Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) developed by Provus and what its effectiveness is like. The author uses a qualitative research method of literature study. The results of this paper are: First, there are three main components in the evaluation model developed by Provus, namely: 1) Standards, including a list of characteristics and qualities that are expected after the implementation of the program, 2) Performance, namely all the characteristics and qualities that have been formed as a result from program implementation, and 3) Discrepancies, namely gaps found after carrying out comparisons between Standards (S) and Performance (P). Second, these three components are then implemented in learning Arabic using five discrepancy evaluation steps, namely: Installation, Design, Process, Product and Comparison

Peace within the household is a critical issue,  as the complexities and dynamics of problems can lead to disharmony, which can have adverse physical and psychological effects.  To address the need for post-conflict domestic life development, an ethnographic approach is employed. The research focuses on two married couples who have been living together as a child-and-parent couple (father mother, child wife) for 7 and 32 years, respectively. These couples are of Javanese ethnicity. The decision to include couples married for more than 5 years is based on the assumption that they have passed the initial crisis period. The research adopts an ethnographic case study approach, gathering data through interviews and observations.  Data were collected through interviews and observations. The findings reveal several important points: (1) Peace is perceived as a blessing within the household, encompassing inner peace, peace with the spouse, in-laws, and the surrounding environment; (2) Factors influencing peace in the household include self-awareness, understanding, and external reflections from the spouse, in-laws, and surrounding environment; and (3) Marital peace has implications for the implementation of marriage counseling, particularly in developing values that prioritize self-optimization when facing marital problems, thereby enabling the realization of potential and independence within the househol

This research aims to analyze the focus of developing Al-Qur'an learning methods with a learning style approach and the achievements of Al-Qur'an learning methods. The research approach uses a qualitative approach and is of the metasynthesis type. Collecting data to answer the existing problem formulation, researchers analyzed learning method guidebooks totaling 7 trends in Al-Qur'an learning methods, articles from journals, and other supporting books. The results of this research indicate that the focus of the development of trends in Al-Qur'an learning methods in Indonesia is more towards audio and visual learning styles. The achievements of the trend in Al-Qur'an learning methods in Indonesia can be seen from the ability to read the Al-Qur'an in tartil, understand gharib and the basics of recitation; knowing random hijaiyah letters, memorizing the Koran, especially short letters; makhraj, and writing Arabic letters. It can be concluded that each method has similarities in developing methods with an audio and visual learning style approach, while the differences between each method can be seen in the achievement of Al-Qur'an learning indicators, but each method has not shown results
