The aim of this study to classify the predictor variables and to observe the independent and group effect of physiological and fitness variables on BMD, to find out the effect of resistance exercise on Bone Mineral Density, other physiological and fitness variables. Total 34 subjects of three different age group viz. young adult (30 – 39 yr.), middle aged adult (40 – 49 yr. ) and older adult (> 50 yr.) women were complete the training programme. Forced Vital Capacity was measured through Spirometer. OSTA score was used to predict the BMD risk factors. Distal radius site BMD measured through Quantity Ultrasound. Physical functioning test included grip strength, isometric back strength, balance, proprioceptive ability and gait velocity. The 17 weeks elastic resistance-training conducted 8 – 10 exercise, 70 min/session, 3 days/week, 8 repetitions, 3 sets with 20 – 30 sec. recoveries, and according to adaptation of the load repetitions and resistance level were changed. For statistical analysis, One-Way ANCOVA, Paired sample t-test, Factor Analysis and linear regression were computed. The value of Physiological Condition (t = 8.229, P < 0.01) and Fitness Condition (t = 3.287, P < 0.01) were significant. OSTA Index (t = 2.622, P < 0.05) and velocity gait (t = -2.231, P < 0.05) independently predict the status of BMD significantly. It was concluded that the training programme was effective for all age groups of women specifically for older adult women and BMD may be improved by the improvement of selected physiological and fitness factors

    No full text
In the future, intelligent machines will replace or enhance human capabilities in many areas. Artificial intelligence is the branch of computer science concerned with making computers behave like humans. The term was coined in 1956 by John McCarthy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Artificial intelligence in the last two decades has greatly improved performance of the manufacturing and service systems. In artificial intelligence, an expert system is a computer system that emulates the decision-making ability of a human expert. Expert systems are designed to solve complex problems by reasoning through bodies of knowledge, represented mainly as if–then rules rather than through conventional procedural code. Application areas of Artificial Intelligence is having a huge impact on various fields of life as expert system is widely used these days to solve the complex problems in various areas as science, engineering, business, medicine, weather forecasting. The areas employing the technology of Artificial Intelligence have seen an increase in the quality and efficiency. This paper gives an overview of this technology and the application areas of this technology. This paper will also explore the current use of Artificial Intelligence technologies in Network Intrusion for protecting computer in the medical area, to improve hospital inpatient care, for medical image classification, in Online telephone customer services and in the computer games

The development of any region depends upon social and economic development, but such a development can't take place without simultaneous development of amenities. Health amenities development in Tribal Areas is the base of economic development of the any region. The progress of any country or society greatly depends on the quality of life of its people. Generally an amenity defines as "a set of facilities through which goods and services are provided to the public, which shows the quality of life of people in a region."  Regional disparity is worldwide problem today, especially in the developing countries. Health development means overall status of health in terms of access, infrastructure and outcomes. This study considered Eleven (11) indicators for health amenities Health Development index (HDI) has been derived by using Standard Score. Levels of health development at amenities have been calculated followed by determination of composite health development index. The study concluded category in comparison to tehsil of TSP area of Rajasthan. So present study made an attempt to examine the spatial analysis in health amenities development in twenty four tehsils of TSP area of Rajasthan. In the analysis, it has been observed that some tehsils are found to be stagnant; others are either moving forward or going backward in the region. The result shows that apart from existence of wide disparity there are sufficient proof to say that there are tehsil that have done poorly placed in terms of health amenities. The paper offers some suggestions to reduce the glaring variations.Â

ABSTRACTThe research conducted aims to determine the effectiveness of sociodrama techniques to improve empathy for junior high school students in Kediri City, East Java Province, Indonesia. This study used a pre-experimental design with a type of One Group Pretest and Posttest design. The research subjects were junior high school students who had low empathy and numbered 13 students. The collected data was analyzed by different Wilcoxon tests. The results showed that the effective sociodrama technique to increase empathy for junior high school students with an average grade value after being given treatment was higher than the average rating before being given treatment and the results of the warranty test showed differences between the results of the pretest and posttest. The wilcoxon value is (z = -3.182a) with the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) for the two-tailed test is 0.001. From the results of the analysis below 0.05. (0.001 <0.05) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, it can be concluded that the sociodrama technique is effective for increasing the empathy of the junior high school students. Key Words: Sociodrama Technique, Empathy, Junior High School Student

Increasing Current Account Deficit  (CAD) of India has become a the biggest problem in the development of the Indian Economy.  And has become the world’s third-largest current account deficit facing Country.  It’s facing the danger to reach up to up to  $90 billion.  The main causes for high Current Account Deficit are : 1)      An unending appetite for gold, resulting in huge imports i.e. hundreds of tones of Gold has been imported against the precious and less stock of Foreign Currency .  This underlined that India is the world’s biggest consumer of the Gold.2)      It has played a major role in driving the rupee to a record low. 3)      India imported approximately 860mt.tones of gold in 2012. 4)      Gold and silver imports in April-October, 2013 declined by 12.86 per cent to USD 24 billion compared to USD 28 billion in the same period last year due to the restrictions imposed by the Reserve Bank of India to control the gold imports. The RBI and Central government of Indiatrust that those measures would help to bring down current account deficit. However, the merchants association thinks it would be counterproductive. The RBI restriction would lead to shortage of gold in the domestic market and artificial price rise may take place as well the decline in gold price in international market would not be reflected in local market price because of the RBI order. There is a distinct possibility of gold price rising in domestic market also. These trends in turn would lead to smuggling, black marketing and hoarding of gold which is fatal to the Indian economy. If India can resolve those gold imports related problems, it could solve the country’s economic problems, decline the current account deficit, appreciate the rupee and boost growth
