Effects of Ripening Agent on Nutritional Composition of Two Varieties of Banana (Musa paradisiaca and Musa acuminata)
This study was conducted to make nutritional comparison between natural and artificially ripened banana. Unripe matured banana sample namely T1 (Musa paradisiaca) and T2 (Musa acuminata) were collected in June 2016 from banana orchard at west Khulshi and Jalalabad in Chittagong. These two varieties of banana were divided into two groups. One group was kept control which was naturally ripened and another group was subjected to calcium carbide treatment. Naturally ripened bananas contained dark spots but carbide treated banana had less dark spots on peel and more. Physical appearance of carbide treated banana was more acceptable than a naturally ripened banana. The ripening time of carbide treated Musa paradisiacal (4±0.31 days) and Musa acuminata (6±0.58 days) significantly increased than naturally ripened Musa paradisiacal (8±0.02 days) and Musa acuminata (10±0.50 days).   Moisture content increased from 76.65±0.46 to 77.63±0.36 and 66.27±0.15 to 67.96±0.19g/100g respectively in carbide treated banana Musa paradisiaca (T1) and Musa acuminata (T2). In carbide ripened sample T1 (Musa paradisiaca), significantly lower amount of ash, protein and fiber (0.76±0.01 g/100g, 1.77±0.06g/100g, 0.76±0.08g/100g) were observed than naturally ripened (0.84±0.01g/100g, 1.97±0.05g/100g, 1.05±0.23g/100g). In case of T2 (Musa acuminata), ash, carbohydrate, fiber and fat (0.74±0.02g/100g,  25.39±0.14g/100g, 3.78±0.07 g/100g, 0.36±0.01g/100g) were significantly decreased in sample which ripened by carbide than control (0.82±0.01 g/100g, 26.56±0.18 g/100g    4.12±0.07 g/100g,0.41±0.01 g/100g). Vitamin C, sodium and potassium content were decreased but calcium content increased in artificially ripened banana. Artificial ripening agents enhance ripening time and provides a acceptable physical appearance but reduces nutritional composition of banana
Effect of mutagens on Mitotic Index and mitotic aberrations in M1 generations of Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet
In the present investigation the effect of the different Chemical and Physical mutagens like EMS, Gamma rays and combination of both EMS and Gamma rays concentration and doses were studied for the mitotic index and mitotic abnormalities in the M1generation . The Mitotic index is decreased with the increased in the concentration and doses of the mutagens. All the three mutagenic treatments EMS, Gamma rays and combination treatment induced the reduction in mitotic index. The maximum induction of mitotic index is observed in EMS followed by Combination and Gamma rays radiation. The different mitotic abnormalities like micronuclei, mis-orientation, stickiness, precocious movements, multiple bridges. The percentage of the mitotic abnormalities was increased with the increases in the dose or concentration of the mutagenic treatments. The highest percentage of the mitotic abnormalities was observed at EMS treatments followed by the Gamma rays and Combination treatments

Employee Engagement and Relationship Practices in Start-up organizations
In order to stay competitive in today’s fast changing world, presence of the best talent depicts the success or failure of the organisation. Who you hire is not just important, but how the employee is managed and retained is considered important by Kennedy and Diam, 2010. Initially considered as a cheap labour force provider, India witnessed reduction in product development and innovation. By the introduction of initiatives by the new Government, raise in funding of about 5 billion in 2015 marked the beginning of job providing market in India. Hiring and retaining skilled manpower is considered as a huge challenge for the start-up to be successful and uncertain organisation climate change is the reason. (Banerjee 2017, Lee Hom and Liz 2017). The inherent uncertainty of organizational growth has resulted in a level of systematic flexibility regarding internal operations requiring high endand allowing for contingent leadership to take place. While flexibility allows optimal resource utilization, on the other hand it can also result in employees feeling aloof, stressed and de-motivated (Banerjee 2017).If these issues remain unanswered, the employee becomes disengaged and leaves for better opportunity. This study focuses on HRM practices (i.e. employee engagement and retention) in start-ups, effectiveness of practices (employee satisfaction) and challenges the start-ups will face in competitive setup. The study makes use of qualitative data and is collected through narrative enquiry. The data isanalysed using ISM technique; excel with focus on HRM practices start-ups and its impact on retentionship and engagement outcomes
