RESTRICTIONS ON CONSTITUTIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS UNDER MARTIAL LAW IN UKRAINE
Get PDFObjective: This article examines the legislative and practical framework surrounding the imposition of martial law in Ukraine and its impact on constitutional human rights. The focus is on analyzing the rights that can be limited during martial law, differentiating between absolute and relative rights.Methods: The study is based on a comprehensive review of Ukrainian legislation, judicial decisions, and academic literature. It employs theoretical and legal analysis to examine the constraints imposed on human rights under martial law, emphasizing the principles of necessity and proportionality.Results: The findings indicate that while certain human rights can be restricted during martial law, absolute rights remain inviolable. The study discusses the state's obligations to balance national security with human rights protection, highlighting the legal mechanisms that safeguard non-derogable rights even during crises.Conclusions: The research underscores the complexity of protecting human rights in wartime and stresses the importance of developing robust legal frameworks to ensure these rights are not unduly compromised. The paper calls for ongoing reforms to align national laws with international human rights standards, ensuring justice and democratic governance persist during martial law

INFLUENCE OF GENDER STEREOTYPES ON LABOR MOBILITY AND WAGES
Get PDFObjective: This study investigates the influence of gender stereotypes on labor mobility and wages, analyzing how these stereotypes affect men and women in the labor market. The main objective is to determine the extent to which gender thinking and stereotypes influence labor mobility and wage disparities.Methods: The research was conducted in two stages at the Bishkek International Medical Institute in 2023. In the first stage, a questionnaire survey with 122 respondents was used to collect initial sociological data. The second stage involved in-depth interviews with 10 selected individuals, allowing for a more detailed qualitative analysis.Results: The results show that gender stereotypes are present in the workplace, but not frequently enough to demand significant attention. However, the research confirmed that these stereotypes negatively affect labor mobility and wages, with prevailing perceptions that men are more suited for leadership positions.Conclusions: The hypothesis that gender stereotypes negatively affect mobility and wages was confirmed. The study recommends adopting policies to minimize the negative effects of gender stereotypes, promoting greater equality of opportunities in the labor market
YOUTH CRAFT ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE ETHNO-TERRITORIAL PERSPECTIVE (CASE OF KAZAN CITY)
Get PDFThe article presents the results of the analysis of youth craft entrepreneurship and the role of ethnicity in the development of business among young people of one of the national regions of Russia - the Republic of Tatarstan. The study answers the question why the actualization of the ethnic and local becomes for many aspiring young entrepreneurs a kind of mission or the basis for the formation of a unique trade offer in the competitive market. However, not only profitability of business, but also self-development combined with the search for their unique local style of business or the product, they create, are realized by young entrepreneurs as an important part of their successful life plan. The conclusions are based on the materials of 15 semi-formalized interviews with craft entrepreneurs of Kazan, conducted in autumn 2022. It is argued that for the interviewed young entrepreneurs the trends of the contemporary world and perception of their place in it are inseparable from the awareness of their ethnic and territorial belonging in one form or another, and the desire to realize their own potential of a successful entrepreneur, focusing on the mission of promotion, popularization of Tatar and local culture and using new forms, techniques and meanings
OPORTUNIDADES DE USAR MÉTODOS ALTERNATIVOS DE PROTEÇÃO DOS DIREITOS CIVIS PARA MELHORAR A EFICIÊNCIA DA RESOLUÇÃO DE DISPUTAS E O FUNCIONAMENTO DOS PROCESSOS JUDICIAIS
Get PDFObjetivo: O artigo tem como objetivo explorar as oportunidades de utilização de métodos alternativos de proteção dos direitos civis para melhorar a eficiência da resolução de disputas e o funcionamento dos processos judiciais. A pesquisa busca identificar como esses métodos podem complementar o sistema jurídico tradicional e oferecer formas mais eficazes de resolução de conflitos civis.Métodos: Foram utilizados métodos qualitativos de coleta de informações, incluindo a análise de documentos legislativos e legais, artigos de periódicos indexados e resultados de pesquisas secundárias. O estudo também analisou dados obtidos de grupos focais dedicados ao uso de métodos alternativos de proteção dos direitos civis.Resultados: Os resultados indicam que, embora o sistema de justiça atual ofereça uma proteção adequada dos direitos civis, a introdução de métodos alternativos, como a mediação e a arbitragem, pode melhorar significativamente a eficiência da resolução de disputas. No entanto, a falta de popularização e confiança nesses métodos entre a população ainda é um obstáculo importante.Conclusões: O estudo conclui que os métodos alternativos de resolução de disputas têm o potencial de reduzir a carga dos tribunais e melhorar o acesso à justiça. A implementação eficaz desses mecanismos depende do aumento da conscientização e da confiança da sociedade em relação a esses métodos
GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES ON VOLUNTEERISM IN EDUCATION: ENHANCING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIETAL IMPACT

Methods: An empirical study was carried out employing qualitative data collection methods. A substantial amount of material was analyzed, including academic articles, conference proceedings, and websites related to volunteer movements. Results: The study identifies key aspects of how volunteering in hospitals serves as a crucial stage in the professional, career, and personal development of medical students. It highlights the benefits of volunteer work in providing practical experience and enhancing skill sets relevant to their future careers. Conclusion: Volunteering in healthcare settings emerges as an integral part of medical students' education, fostering their professional and personal growth while addressing important societal needs, particularly in preventive healthcare. The findings underscore the value of incorporating volunteer work into medical training programs to better prepare students for their future roles in the healthcare industry
EFICIÊNCIA ENERGÉTICA ELÉTRICA NO SETOR INDUSTRIAL BRASILEIRO: IMPACTOS NO SISTEMA ELÉTRICO NACIONAL E NAS METAS DEFINIDAS PELO PLANO NACIONAL DE ENERGIA
Get PDFAs ações de eficiência energética se apresentam como uma ótima alternativa para garantir o suprimento de eletricidade com maior confiabilidade e de maneira mais rápida, gerando economia de recursos, diminuição da poluição e postergando a necessidade de expansão do sistema energético. Nas nações mais desenvolvidas, as indústrias são priorizadas nos programas governamentais de eficiência energética, o que não ocorre no Brasil. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o impacto dos projetos industriais de eficiência energética no sistema elétrico brasileiro e nas metas definidas no Plano Nacional de Energia 2030 através de levantamento e análise dos projetos executados no âmbito do Programa de Eficiência Energética da Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica entre 2009 e 2019. Get PDFResumo: o presente trabalho objetiva, após analisar a justiça distributiva na perspectiva de Aristóteles, John Rawls e Amartya Sen, verificar, com base em três situações específicas da legislação previdenciária (no trabalho realizado pelo preso, no trabalho prestado por segurado que recebe valor inferior ao salário-mínimo nacional e na proteção da saúde do trabalhador, em função do incremento da fiscalização do meio ambiente de se o direito à previdência social formalmente repartido entre os trabalhadores, na visão idealizada por Rawls está, na perspectiva capacitária de Amartya Sen, sendo convertido em satisfação real por parte dos respectivos titulares do direito.Palavras-chave: previdência social; capacidades; Amartya Sen.ABSTRACT: the present work aims, after analyzing distributive justice from the perspective of Aristotle, John Rawls and Amartya Sen, to verify, based on three specific situations of social security legislation (in the work carried out by the prisoner, in the work carried out by an insured person who receives a lower value to the national minimum wage and the protection of workers' health, due to the increase in supervision of the work environment), if the right to social security is formally distributed among workers, in the vision idealized by Rawls, in Amartya's capable perspective Sen, being converted into real satisfaction on the part of the respective right holders.Keywords: social security; capabilities; Amartya Sen

Sobre as organizações, temos que estas existem para atingir objetivos, e para isso se estruturam com seus recursos humanos, materiais e financeiros. Assim, traçar estratégias faz parte de sua rotina que analisa seus ambientes e, a partir de seus propósitos organizacionais, propõem e executam suas estratégias. Absorptive Capacity and Social Integration Mechanisms: Evidence from Bank Branches in Brazil
Get PDFPurpose: The article aims to verify the relationship between individual absorptive capacity, organizational absorptive capacity, and social integration mechanisms in bank branches.Methodology: A quantitative, descriptive method was adopted, with data collected through a survey and processed using the structural equation modeling method with partial least squares estimation (PLS-SEM).Results: As a result, a positive relationship was found between individual and organizational absorptive capacities and the positive effects of social integration mechanisms on each of them, since these mechanisms are related to socio-environmental, affective, cognitive and organizational resources.Originality: We extend the Social Integration Mechanisms by demonstrating that resource development in emerging markets requires a collective effort and complementary organizational processes to produce high results. Finally, we examine the conditions under which companies in emerging markets can complement their processes to achieve better performance.Theoretical/Practical Contribution: Theoretical contributions include the influence of the cognitive, socio-environmental, affective, and behavioral dimensions of social integration mechanisms that enhance the development of knowledge absorption in individuals and in the organization. Practical contributions lie in the adoption of social integration mechanisms by managers in order to maximize individual and organizational absorptive capacities.
