The Role of Museums in the Process of Creating A Brand City: The Case of Ankara*
No full textIt is crucial to evaluate the usage practices of social networks in sustaining the urban brand. In this study, we discussed how museums as social memory spaces are subject to social media posts. The study is noteworthy because it gives an opinion about social media posts of museum visitors and determines the approach to museums in the formation of an urban brand. Accordingly, we examined the Instagram posts of social media users related to museums in Ankara via content analysis. We found that the posts shared were mainly photos. Museums were the greatest data source for the corporate Instagram accounts according to sharing frequency and they were all foundation and private museums. Examining the purposes of sharing, we determined a multidirectional social media use in the dimensions of communication via announcement, publicity and informing. Analysing the use of hashtags related to museums in the process of creating a brand city revealed that museums highlighted themselves, their activities and the city where they are located. The experience of visiting the museum creates the opinion that there is an impression of the brand value of the city where the museum is located. As a result of the study, we found that it is necessary to organize a campaign based on a specific motto to be shared by corporate accounts of museums, personal accounts of visitors, and Instagram content creators to strengthen the positioning of Ankara museums related to the city
Is There a Difference in Parental Attitudes and Attachment for ADHD-Social Phobia Comorbidity?
No full textObjective: Social phobia (SP) is one the most common of comorbid anxiety disorders seen with ADHD. It is also known that social phobia and ADHD patients have some differences in parental attitudes and attachment styles. This study aims to investigate the effects of attachment status and parental attitudes in ADHD-social phobia comorbidity.Methods: 66 children and adolescents with ADHD were included in the study. The Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School -Age Children -Present and Lifetime Version, DSM-5 November 2016-Turkish Adaptation (KSADS-PL-DSM5-T) was used for evaluating diagnosis. Socioeconomic status (SES) was scored using the Hollingshead Redlich Scale. Sociodemographic and clinical data were recorded. Adult Attachment Scale (AAS) and Parental Attitudes Research Instrument (PARI) were filled in by the parents. The patients filled in the Kerns Security Scale (KSS). We compared the ADHD patients with and without SAD comorbidity in terms of scales used and sociodemographic-clinical variables. Results: There were no differences between ADHD+SP group and ADHD without SP group in terms of age, gender, SES, family structure and family history of diagnosed psychiatric disease(p>0.05). Rate of inattentive subtype of ADHD (p=0.05) and comorbid psychiatric disease frequency (p=0.00) was higher in ADHD+SP group compared to ADHD without social phobia group. However, the groups did not differ according to their attachment styles, their parent's attachment styles or parental attitudes (p>0.05).Conclusion: Parental attitudes and attachment styles may not play a role in the development of SP comorbidity in children and adolescents with ADHD. Other biological and environmental factors should be kept in mind when evaluating and treating children with ADHD who have SP. Biological treatments and individualized interventions such as CBT may be preferred as a first line treatment rather than psychotherapies targeting attachment and parenting styles in those children
Modeling of HEMT Devices Through Neural Networks: Headway for Future Remedies

Determining the suitable and optimal model structure with component values is not straightforward and requires significant effort especially at high frequencies. This modeling task is becoming more sensitive to numerical errors and convergence issues and needs careful consideration. Recently, neural networks (NNs) prove their ben-eficial applications in the radio frequencies design leading to accurate modeling. In this framework, this paper devotes to provide the comprehensive literature review around the various methods employed to modeling HEMT transistors through NNs. No full textGeri dönüşüm, yeniden üretim ve tamir işlemleri, daha az enerji kullanımı ve daha az atık oluşumunu sağlayarak işletmelerin karlılığını artırmaktadır ve tedarik zinciri toplam maliyeti üzerinde olumlu yönde etki yapmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, farklı ülkelerde bulunan tek bir üretici ve tek bir perakendeciden oluşan iki aşamalı tedarik zinciri sistemi için ekonomik ve çevresel hedefleri birlikte gözeten bir bütünleşik stok kontrol modeli geliştirilmektedir. Bu çalışmadaki problem, sistemin toplam stok maliyetini enküçükleyecek şekilde üreticinin parti sayısının ve perakendecinin parti büyüklüğünün, yani bütünleşik üretim-stok kontrol politikası parametrelerinin birlikte hesaplanmasıdır. Perakendecinin teslim aldığı her parti iyi kaliteli ürünlerle birlikte kusurlu ürünler de içermektedir. Kusurlu ürünlerin bir kısmı hurdaya ayrılmakta ve geri dönüşüm/yeniden üretim sürecine girmek üzere üreticiye geri gönderilmektedir, diğer kısmı ise yerel bir firmada tamir edildikten sonra eldeki stoğa eklenmektedir. Ürünlerin üreticiden perakendeciye ve kusurlu ürünlerin perakendeciden üreticiye ve tamir merkezine taşınmasından kaynaklanan karbon emisyon maliyetleri modele dahil edilmiştir. Bu çalışmadaki amaç, dışkaynak tamir, geri dönüşüm/yeniden üretim ve karbon emisyonunun birlikte tedarik zinciri performansı üzerindeki etkisini modellemektir. Sayısal bir örnek yardımıyla teorik sonuçlar elde edilmiş ve duyarlılık analizleri verilmiştir. Sayısal analiz sonucunda, tamir işleminin geri dönüşüm/yeniden üretim işlemiyle birlikte tedarik zinciri toplam stok maliyeti üzerinde olumlu yönde etkisinin olduğu gözlemlenmiştir
Peripherally and non-peripherally carboxylic acid substituted Cu(ii) phthalocyanine/reduced graphene oxide nanohybrids for hydrogen evolution reaction catalysts
No full textDue to growing environmental concerns and increasing energy needs, hydrogen, one of the key options as a future energy carrier, has lately gained more interest. In this study, we have reported nanohybrid electrocatalyst materials based on peripherally and non-peripherally carboxylic acid substituted copper phthalocyanines (CuPcs) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) constructed via pi-pi interactions between CuPcs and rGO. Prepared nanocomposites were coated onto the surface of a glassy carbon electrode and their electrocatalytic activity for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) was studied. Structural, electrochemical, and surface morphological properties of the produced electrodes were investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses. Electrochemical measurements indicated that the peripherally substituted rGO/CuPc electrodes have more efficiency and activity compared to the non-peripherally substituted ones. In addition, the EIS results show that peripherally carboxylic substituted rGO/CuPc electrodes become more conductive due to the position and content of the carboxyl groups. This increasing performance of the HER implied by a smaller impedance together with more facile electron transfer kinetics indicates a pronounced enhancement of the electrocatalytic hydrogen activity of peripherally carboxylic substituted rGO/CuPc electrodes.Research Fund of the Istanbul Technical University [42019]The authors thank Dr. M. No full textBu çalışma, tarımsal el aletleri sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir imalat firmasının yenilik stratejisini analitik hiyerarşi süreci üzerinden belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Şirketin stratejik alternatiflerini belirlemek için şirketin iç ve dış çevre analizi yapılmıştır. İç çevre analizi ile dış çevre analizi ile şirketin güçlü yönleri (G) ve zayıf yönleri (Z), fırsatlar (F) ve tehditler (T) belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, tarım sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir ihracat imalat firmasının yenilik stratejilerini belirlemek için SWOT analizi kullanılmıştır. Uygun stratejiyi seçmek için AHP kullanılmıştır. AHP uygulaması sonucunda strateji alternatiflerinden firmanın güçlü yönlerinden ve çevresindeki fırsatlardan elde edilen GF stratejisi tercih edilmiştir

In the very recently published papers, it is recognized that researchers focus on solving various problems appeared in the communication systems through advanced optimization methods based on the artificial intelligence (AI). This study devotes to summarize newly and recently published studies where they use optimization and AI-based approaches for tacking their problems related to the communication systems. No full textBu araştırmanın amacı, Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi’ndeki akademisyenlerin stratejik düşünme yeteneklerinin düzeyini incelemek ve stratejik düşünmenin idari görevle ilişkisini belirlemektir. Eğitimin en önemli basamaklarından biri olan üniversiteler, stratejik düşünme yeteneğinin gelişmesi için kilit noktadadırlar. Bu düşünce anlayışının öğrencilere yerleştirilebilmesi için öncelikli olarak akademisyenlerin stratejik düşünme yeteneğine sahip olması ve stratejik düşünme kavramına hakim olması gerekmektedir. Bu ise örgüt kültürü, yönetimin tutumu ve deneyimler sayesinde mümkün olacaktır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda stratejik düşünme becerisi ölçeği; idari görev değişkeni açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Tanımlayıcı araştırmada yüz yüze anket yönetimi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi’nde çalışan akademisyenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada 280 anket analize alınmıştır. Çalışmada akademisyenlerin stratejik düşünme becerilerini ölçmek için Pisapia vd. (2005) tarafından geliştirilmiş “Stratejik Düşünme Becerisi” envanteri kullanılmış olup, ölçeğin Cronbach alpha katsayısı, 0,894 olarak saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda idari görevi olan akademisyenlerin stratejik düşünme yeteneklerinin idari görevi olmayanlara göre daha yüksek çıktığı tespit edilmiştir
AÇIK İNOVASYON STRATEJİSİNİN KOBİ’LERİN İNOVASYON VE İHRACAT PERFORMANSINA ETKİLERİ: İNOVASYON İKLİMİNİN DÜZENLEYİCİ ROLÜ
No full textKOBİ’ler gerek istihdama katkıları gerekse hızlı hareket edebilme potansiyelleri ile ülke ekonomilerine ciddi katkılarda bulunurlar. Ancak, aynı zamanda birtakım yetersizlikleri de bünyelerinde barındırırlar. Bu bağlamda, bu çalışmada literatürde son dönemlerde öne çıkan açık inovasyon stratejilerinin, KOBİ’lerin ürün inovasyonu performansı ile ihracat performansı üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmaktadır. Ayrıca, inovasyon ikliminin bu ilişkiler üzerindeki moderatör etkileri incelenmektedir. Bu kapsamda, 299 ihracatçı KOBİ üzerinde anket yöntemi ile yapılan araştırmada, içten-dışa ve dıştan-içe açık inovasyon stratejilerinin ürün inovasyonu performansıyla pozitif ilişkili olduğu, ürün inovasyonu performansının ise ihracat performansıyla pozitif ilişkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, araştırma sonucunda ürün inovasyonu performansının aracı değişken etkisi ile inovasyon ikliminin moderatör etkisi tespit edilmiştir
