Aim: Obtain an overview of the level of acceptance of nursing clinic educators using mini-CEX as an assessment method. Method: This research is a descriptive study with 62 subjects were clinical instructors, conducted training first, then the technique of data collection using 2 instruments namely mini-CEX format and modified TAM. Result: 98.4% of respondents can use mini-CEX with graduation criteria above 75% and the graduation of 18.6. Product moment correlation test results for all items TAM significance value> 0.25, then all items are declared valid with a significance of 95%. TAM questionnaire reliability with Alpha Croanbach\u27s test is 0.957. The results of data analysis using the t-test with a limit on the acceptance value of using mini-CEX using the TAM questionnaire was 70% found that the test results showed sig 0,000 (<.0.05). Conclusion: Mini-CEX can be used as a clinical performance appraisal instrument for nursing students, with a high level of acceptance measured by TAM

    No full text
Aims: The study aims to analyse the risk factors for exposure to Covid-19 in Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Patients in the Johar Baru Health Centre work area. Design: This research was an observational analytic with a cross-sectional design. 146 DM patients were selected using the purposive sampling technique as respondents. Four instruments were employed in this study, they were The Perceived Stress Scale, modified Diabetes Self-management Questionnaire, Self-assessment form from the Ministry of Health to measure the risk of exposure to Covid-19, and The Covid-19 Preventive Behaviour Questionnaire, which was compiled based on a literature study and tested for validity and reliability. Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptive research. Results : Using Kendal\u27s Tau B statistics, the risk of being exposed to Covid-19 was found to have a significant relationship to the length of suffering from DM, comorbidities, stress levels, self-management, and Covid-19 preventive behaviour with a p-value <0.05. The multiple linear regression test found that the risk of being exposed to Covid-19 was influenced by the variable duration of suffering from DM, stress level, and Covid preventive behaviour (p-value < 0.05) with the results of Cox and Snell R = 0.382 indicating that the independent variable contributes 38.2%. Conclusions: DM patients were in high risk for exposure Covid 19, thus they need to control stress levels and carry out Covid preventive behaviour by prioritizing optimal health procedures to prevent the risk of being exposed to Covid-19

    No full text
Aim: This literature review aims to explain the effectiveness of combination relaxation therapies with music and imagery technique to reduce the quality and quantity of pain experienced by post-operative patients. Methods: The research data were identified from 5 journal databases including PubMed, JSTOR, Willey Online Library, Sage Journal and Taylor Francis Online by using the PIOS (Participant, Intervention, Outcomes and Study Design) method and MesH term on advanced search engines. Additional records identified through Google Scholar and Research Gate. The articles that become research data are articles published in 1998–2018 in English version, open access and full-text in the form of original research articles. Results: Eight articles that were screened using PRISMA reviewed without meta-analysis consisted of four articles intervening in a combination of relaxation with music and four articles combining with imagery. Conclusion: The combination of relaxation techniques with music, as well as a combination of relaxation techniques with effective imagery are used to reduce pain. Based on the analysis of the results in several studies, it can be found that patient education about relaxation therapy should be given to all surgical patients to help improve patient’s comfort and enhance tissue healing.

The variables of self-care, attitudes and reactions to leprosy are variables related to disability in leprosy patients at the Public Health Centers in the South Jakarta area. The most dominant variable related to disability in leprosy patients was self-care (p=0.001 and OR=3.381). The OR value for self-care is 3.38, so people with leprosy who do not perform self-care have 3 times the risk of disability. Conclusion: The need for self-care carried out by leprosy patients both individually and in groups to prevent disability

This is because public knowledge about management and preparedness in dealing with disasters is lacking, so socialization related to education regarding disaster management due to earthquakes is crucial to be given to the community to minimize losses caused. So there is a need for a literature review related to the implementation of education in disaster management. Purpose: Conducted a narrative review to determine the effect of disaster education on increasing earthquake preparedness. Methods: The article search strategy used three databases (Google Scholar, EBSCO, Garuda) which were searched from 2014-2021 in the form of research reports and reviews that discussed the effect of disaster education on increasing earthquake preparedness. with the keywords Education, Earthquake Disaster, Preparedness, Education, Earthquake Disaster, Preparedness in a database search. Then the critical appraisal tools from JBI were carried out. There were six articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria set. Results: Shows that the provision of earthquake disaster preparedness education can be carried out by various methods, including the introduction of school-based disaster risk, with lectures, questions and answers, simulations, demonstrations, and audiovisual techniques.  The several journals above, it shows a significant difference in the form of an increase in results before being given the intervention and after being given the intervention. Conclusion: Based on the results of the literature review is that there is the effect of disaster preparedness training earthquake with methods of educational disaster on community preparedness. And this educational method can be applied to the community to increase preparedness for earthquake disasters

Designs:This research is a quantitative research using descriptive method through a cross-sectional approach. Methods:The population in this study were 60 students of STIKep PPNI West Java. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with random sampling. Collecting data using a user experience questionnaire (UEQ). The questionnaire was adapted from the research of Laugwitz et al. This questionnaire contains 26 items that represent the 6 factors that will be analyzed to evaluate the user experience, namely attractiveness, efficiency, perspicuity, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Results : The five user experience subvariables show an average value close to the maximum value so that it is stated that the user\u27s response is positive to the use of edugame as a form of evaluation in patient safety learning. Stimulation is an experiential subvariable that emphasizes that users find edugames fun and motivating. Conclusions:The students\u27 experience in using V-Qita Edugame is at an average value of 4.62, meaning that the student response in using Edugame as a positive learning evaluation.
