Study Tools: As a main tool, the researchers used a questioner which designed and validated, the tool consists of two major domainsand 30 indicators.
Study Recommendations : Based on the previous findings, the study recommended the use of active learning strategies in the classrooms to facilitate learning and engage students to the four skills of English language activities

Conceptualizing the Co-Existence of Formal and Informal Institutions Within Planning
Conceptualizing the Co-Existence of Formal and Informal
Institutions Within Planning
Hazem Abu-Orf
Faculty of Applied Engineering and Urban Planning, University of Palestine, Gaza, PalestineThe background to this study is addressing how formal and informal institutions might intersect in planning. This
article has at its aim addressing not only the effects that formal and/or informal institutions have but also how both shape each
other. In fulfilling this aim, analysis in this study adopts qualitative research methods, including qualitative interviewing, direct
observation and archival records, which are applied to the Nicosia Master Plan that is considered in this study as a particular
case study because it arguably helps this study to fulfill its aims. The perspective of formal/informal ‘dialectics’, marked by a
‘mutual-shaping’ exercise, is applied to this case study. Its application reveals several arguments as follow. First, formal
institutions are found in this study to be blocked from mobilizing any development, however, remain the key determinant. The
second argument concerns informal institutions that have been found to adopt strategies capable of mobilizing development,
nevertheless, these strategies could not obviate the central role of formal institutions. Thirdly, formal institutions formalize
informal institutions by ‘absorbing’ the latter into their hierarchy while equally denying any degree of autonomy, nor a role
assigned, to informal institutions. Altogether, the findings revealed in this study stress the importance of the political and
economic contexts of power that are key to how the formal/informal ‘dialectics’ occur.University of Palestine, www.up.edu.p

The Evolution of Zionism Judaism from the Idea to The movement

Jewish Zionism emerged centuries after the spread of non-Jewish Zionism among Christians in Europe. These were the second stage of the development of Zionism and paved the way for the emergence of political Zionism at the hands of Theodore Herzl, the author of the Jewish State, in which he analyzed the Jewish problem and called for its transformation into a global issue that the major powers must solve by giving the Jews sovereignty over a patch of land Of a nation. This study aims at identifying the effect of the TETCCH program in reducing the intensity of autism spectrum disorder among a sample group of children. The study used the Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) as well as the TEATCCH program to conduct the study on a sample of 30 male and female children divided into in two groups. One group is the experimental group, which consisted of 15 children and the other is the control group that had the rest of 15 children. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05 ≥ 0) between the grade levels of the experimental group members before and after the implementation of the TEACCH program in the pre and post measurement of the CARS scale due to age and gender variable

The strategy of creative thinking and its impact on the development of the performance of workers in medical institutions in Nablus governorateAbstract
The strategy of creative thinking and its impact on the development of the performance of workers in medical institutions in Nablus governorate
The aim of this research was to identify the strategy of creative thinking and its impact on the development of the performance of workers in medical institutions in Nablus governorate. It also aimed at identifying the effect of each variable (gender, qualification, occupation, number of years of experience) on the creative thinking and its role on the development of worker performance in these institutions.
To achieve the objective of the research, the descriptive approach was adopted, and a questionnaire was developed and verified. It was distributed to the community of workers in the Palestinian medical institutions in Nablus, which numbered 425 employees (16%). After the collection of questionnaires, data were analyzed and processed statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software.
Several results were found including that there is a role for creative thinking in developing the performance of employees in medical institutions in Nablus governorate depending on the field of employee competencies. This is explained by the fact that the employees have the professional skill and technical knowledge required to perform the work, as the creative thinking provides the staff with the technical skill and the ability to work, which improve the employees’ dedication when performing their duties. Also, there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) in the arithmetic averages of the role of creative thinking in the development of the performance of workers in medical institutions in Nablus Governorate according to the variables (gender, academic qualification, occupation, number of years of experience).
Accordingly, the research recommended that there is a need for Palestinian medical institutions to develop the creative thinking skills of their employees in order to reach high levels that enable them to develop their performance as well as to face administrative and organizational problems, and to develop a clear strategy in health institutions based on accurate criteria to detect the talented, and to train them to provide qualified human resources capable of investing their creative energies in the development of job performance

The present study aimed to identify the Appropriate Parental Practices and their relationship to the Emotions Regulation for Students with Learning Disabilities. The sample of the study was chosen in terms of schools and classes (fourth - fifth - sixth) for learning disabilities students enrolled in the sources rooms، and ordinary students of (301) students (96 people with learning difficulties - 205 ordinary) of private schools in the Amman city، which contains classes of learning disabilities. In order to achieve the objectives of the study، two measures were used، which were developed by the researchers. The first is the appropriate parental practices scale، the second is the emotions regulation scale، were applied to the current study sample (ordinary students - students with learning difficulties) in the second semester of the academic year (2017-2018)، after verifying their psychometric characteristics. The results also showed a statistically significant positive correlation between the emotional regulation and the areas of appropriate parental practice (joint parental practice، positive practices، and the total score of the scale)، while there was no relationship between emotions regulation and the corporal punishment field.
The study recommends that attention should be given to the preparation of guidance programs for families to caring for learning disabilities students emotionally، and the positive ways that lead to the emotional regulation and equilibrium. Conducting more researches and studies related to the study variables and their relation to other psychological and educational variables such as self-regulation، resistance to self-disability، and security and non-security attachment

These statistics prove that the Israeli Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu was committed to the increase of settlements, and refused any settlement freeze, which lead to the stagnation of the peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians ever since he arrived to the cabinet in 200
Exploring the Use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Construction Projects in Gaza Strip
Ismail Al Daoor
Faculty of Applied Engineering and Urban Planning,
University of Palestine, Gaza, Palestine,
[email protected] Information Modeling (BIM) is a
process for designing and collaborating using an
intelligent 3D model across the planning, design
and construction of buildings and infrastructure.
It is one of the most promising recent
developments in the Architecture, Engineering,
and Construction (AEC) industry. The objectives
of this study are to investigate and explore the
knowledge implementation of BIM technology
in Gaza Strip (GS) among contracting
companies. To achieve this aim, the research
reviews the literature related to BIM includes;
definition of BIM technology, its benefits and
disadvantages implementation in construction
industry. The study used a questionnaire that was
administered by contracting companies classified
at the Palestinian Contractors Union. Fifty-five
questionnaires were distributed in Gaza strip and
40 questionnaires were received which makes
the response rate 72.7%. The results confirm the
existence of several reasons for challenges in
implementing BIM in construction projects in
the Gaza Strip: (1) Unawareness of BIM
benefits, (2) Lack of training, (3) Lack of
qualified staff to work with the software.
Furthermore, results explored key factors that
can promote applying BIM in the Gaza Strip
construction projects, including; (1) Training of
construction staff, (2) Workshops about
importance of applying BIM, (3) Provide free
and trial versions of the software. Finally, the
study recommended several suggestions on the
use of BIM technology by contractors in the
Gaza Strip construction industry.University of Palestine
