ニューラルネットワークを多層化することで得た、高精度の画像や音声の認識を初め、いくつかの分野で人間超えを射程内に入れたAI、それ故に多種多様なサービスへの期待の扉が開かれつつある一方で､シンギュラリテイ（技術特異点）についても知見の積み増しが必至とされていることを付した。

Invention by the employee and changes in Japanese Patent Law
Get PDFapplication/pdf本稿では、我が国が「知的財産立国」を明確に標傍して以来、研究開発の成果としてある特許を巡って、様々な問題が指摘され論議が展開されてきたこと、中でも近年職務発明特許に関して、特にその帰属、対価の在り方を焦点に特許法の改正を望む産業界からの強い要請があったこと、またそれらを受けて特許法35条が検討されてきたことについて記した。
2014年10月には、発明者の権利・利益を損ねることなく、産業界の対価リスク軽減要請に応じるような格好で法改正される方針が定まり、早期に国会へ改正法案を提出する予定で、最終的な検討調整が、現在（2015年1月）各界の意見要望を爵酌しながら図られつつあることを述べた。On October 17, 2014, crucial decision was announced which would change the principle of Japanese Patent Law Article 35, that defines indispensable aspects concerning invention by the employee. The right to an invention is to shift from an inventor to a company, that was produced. Because strong encouragement by employers to reduce the risk against the huge remuneration requested by inventors has eventually led to the govenmental action.

A Study on support systems and self-help groups for senior citizens with dementia : based on activities by a prefectural chapter of the Alzheimer's Association of Japan
Get PDFapplication/pdfThis study examines support systems for elderly patients with dementia, based on data taken from interviews with members of the Alzheimer's Association of Japan (henceforth known as the AAJ). We particularly focused on support systems that involved practices used by self-help groups. We conducted semi-structured interviews with 14 members of the AAJ from July to October 2007. We analysed the data using a revised version of grounded theory. The study's core theme is accurate awareness of dementia and understanding the functions of self-help group'. It seems highly possible that the inadequate provision of proper support is partly due to a lack of awareness in society regarding dementia and the importance of self-help groups.
Members of AAJ have grown through participating in self-help groups activities; simultaneously, they, have endeavoured to build a better society that includes a proper support system for elderly patients with dementia.lt seems that multifaceted, integrated support in health preservation, medical care, welfare, education, and research are needed to support the lifestyle sought by seniors with dementia. It is important for all people, including dementia patients, to be able to function as resources in society, and to cultivate the various resources that they have at their disposal.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
Gender as seen in the yome-irazu belief : why does this faith center on two deities (kannon and jizo)
Get PDFapplication/pdf｢嫁いらず信仰」とは、祈祷を受けた下着を身に着けたりすると長患いせずにぽっくり往生ができるとの俗信を意味する。筆者はここ数年現地調査を実施してきたが、地域によってはこの俗信が息づいていることを知った。本稿のねらいは、この俗信とジェンダーの関わりを考察することにある。「嫁いらず信仰」の対象は観音と地蔵に収数しており、この２尊の特性が代受苦や慈愛であることから、この信仰は無限抱擁的な母性に象徴される女性性へのベクトルを暗示していると考えられる。一見嫁を思いやるとも思われる「介護で嫁の手を煩わせることのないように」と祈る「嫁いらず信仰」は、あくまで介護者として嫁を自明視している。この信仰の対象が観音と地蔵であることから、慈愛に満ちた無償行為者としての理想的介護嫁に託された「気高い倫理性」が透けて見え来るように思われる。The Yome-irazu belief (literally "no-need-for-a-daughter-in-law" belief) refers to a folk custom whereby praying to one's underclothes before wearing them can ensure a quick demise unmarred by long illness. I have been conducting fieldwork in this area over the past few years, and can confirm that this belief exists in the region. This paper examines the role of gender in this belief. The focus of the yome-irazu belief centers on the bodhisattva Kannons (Avalokitesvara) and Jizo (Ksitigarbha), two deities characterized by compassion and vicarious suffering. The faith is accordingly thought to imply a vector towards the female sex, as symbolized in the infinite embrace of motherhood. By ostensibly seeming to show compassion for daughters-in-law in its prayers "that the person offering the prayer might not trouble their daughterin-law with nursing care," the yome-irazu belief clearly views daughters-in-law chiefly as care providers. The centrality of Kannon and Jizo to this belief reveals the imposed "sublime morality" entrusted to the ideal daughter-in-law/care provider as a benevolent volunteer.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
Plants of Okinoerabujima
Get PDFapplication/pdf沖永良部島は九州本島から南へ536kmに位置し、東西20km、西辺の南北10kmで東西に細長く伸びている。最高地点は標高240ｍの大山で、島は広くサンゴ石灰岩でできている。
2回の調査で、108科309種（シダ植物10科23種、裸子植物６科６種、被子植物双子葉77科217種、被子植物単子葉１５科63種）を観察できた。
特記すべき植物として、和泊町立国頭小学校の校庭に日本一の広がりがあると思われるガジュマルがある。

Get PDFapplication/pdfドイツにおける救貧制度の展開、すなわち、市町村扶助の拡充と細分化の過程は、学問によって導かれた市民の社会改革政策のコンセプトが具体化する過程であった。学術化の傾向と合理化のいずれもが、公的な市町村扶助および地方レベルの民間慈善事業の改革と拡充のための大原則であった。とりわけ、市町村による扶助施設および扶助施策の内容的な面を決定づけた学問は、主に予防衛生学であった。「健康」というのがそのキーワードであり、この価値観は、たとえ政策的立場が対立していてもコンセンサスを得ることができる。これにより、市町村による扶助は、次第に助言などを行う「人に関わるサービス」へと発展していった。こうした公的援護事業の発展を一つにまとめて体系的に示すことが困難であるため、本稿では個々の扶助領域がどのように発展してきたか、少なくともその基本的特質を述べることとする。The development of the poor relief system in Germany, or the process of expansion and subdivision of support by towns and villages, was the embodied process of the concept of citizens' social reform led by studies. Both of the tendency of studies and rationalization were the fundamental principle for public support by towns and villages and the reform and expansion of the private charitable work. Above all, the study that determined the contents of supporting facilities provided by towns and villages was the study of preventive health. "Health" is the key word, and even if the political viewpoints are opposed, this value can reach a consensus. Therefore, support by towns and villages gradually developed into "human services" such as advising individually. Since it's difficult to systematize the process of the development of such public support business, we describe how each field of support has developed, at least its basic characteristics.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
