New chiral bis(oxazolinyl)bipyridine ligands and application in the iron catalyzed asymmetric hydrosilylation of ketones
C2 symmetrical 6,6′-bis(oxazolinyl)-2,2′-bipyridine (bipybox) chiral ligands have been synthesized from readily available 2,2′-bipyridine. Catalytic asymmetric hydrosilylation of ketones was studied using this family of ligands in the presence of iron(II) acetate
NEW 3-(2-PYRIDYL)-1,2,4-TRIAZOLE DERIVATIVES AND THEIR PALLADIUM (II) COMPLEXES
The article is devoted to investigation of coordination compounds of palladium (II) with 3-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole derivatives containing amino groups. We syntesized 4 ligands and 4 new coordination compounds. An interesting after removing of BOC-protection, NH2-group is still uncoordinated. In 1H NMR spectra of complexes was a significant shift of the ortho-pyridine proton in a low-field area, which prove proposed structure. This may be due to its closeness to the lone electron pair of the nitrogen cycle of the second triazole ligand
Synthesis and biological activity of 3-azahetarylchroman-4-ones
Articles reporting on the synthesis and biological activity of 3-hetarylchroman-4-ones are reviewed. The following preparative methods to 3-hetarylchroman-4-ones - nucleophilic substitution in 3-bromochroman-4-ones, cyclization of 2-hydroxy-α-hetarylacetophenones, reduction/hydrogenation of 3-azahetarylchromones, their benefits and disadvantages are described. The biological activity of 3-hetarylchromanones is also surveyed
Calculation of thermodynamic properties of liquid Fe-Ln alloys
This paper presents the results of estimation of thermodynamic properties of binary Fe–Ln systems which characterized by small or moderate energy of component interaction in liquid state. The good agreement between enthalpies of mixing calculated in “surrounded atom” approximation and experimentally obtained enthalpies of mixing is observed for all investigated systems including Fe–Pr one, in which sign variable values of heat effects were determined. The method of estimation of excess Gibbs energies of liquid Fe–Ln alloys is proposed and the results of such estimation are given for a number of systems including those experimentally unexplored yet
Heterocyclization Reactions of Pyruvic Acids and Aminoazoles with Controlled Chemoselectivity
The present review includes the analysis of known literature data concerning linear and multicomponent heterocyclizations involving pyruvic acids and aminoazoles. In particular, the review demonstrates the approaches to control regio- and chemoselectivity of these types of treatments and their application to solve the matters of Diversity Oriented Synthesis
The redeeming features of reaction of the 8-formyl-7-hydroxychromones with malononitrile
A range of 4H,8H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromen-4,8-diones have been prepared using Knoevenagel reaction of the 8-formyl-7-hydroxychromones with malononitrile. The 4H,8H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromen-4,8-dione derivative was also obtained through the acid hydrolysis of the 8-imino-4H,8H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromen-4-one. 8-Formyl-7-hydroxychromone 1 was found to add two molecules of malononitrile through Michael addition resulting in formation of the 2-[8-amino-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-9-cyano-2-methyl-4-oxo-4H,10H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromen-10-yl]malononitrile. Influence of technological parameters extruder on the quality of polymer compositions
The process of mixing in combined extruders is discussed in this paper. We propose a method for determining the quality of the composites. Strip thickness is a quality criterion. As a result of our research, programs have been established, which can determine the mixing quality of polymer compositions. The quality criterion in this method is the strip thickness. Objective was to create programs that allow specifying the desired compositions quality during their processing. Adequacy of the task solution has been verified by experimental studies in the test unit
The Sensitization of Aliphatic Epoxy Photopolymerization in Epoxy-Acrylate Interpenetrating Polymer Networks
The paper discuses the phenomenon of the sensitization of the aliphatic epoxy photopolymerization in the presence of acrylate oligomers while forming epoxy-acrylate interpenetrating polymer networks. The photopolymerization process was studied by IR spectroscopy and the properties of the final products – by the Gardner test, crosshatch adhesion test, and the pencil hardness test. The epoxy groups conversion, which is rather low in aliphatic epoxy polymers, was found to alter with the increase of acrylate compounds content. The materials synthesized on the base of interpenetrating polymer networks were shown to reveal fine properties and may have a potential application as coatings

Synthesis and Characterization of Copolymers of Lantanide Complexes with Styrene
Сopolymers of 2-methyl-5-phenylpentene-1-dione-3,5 with styrene in ratio 5:95, which containing Eu, Yb and Eu, Yb with 1,10-phenanthroline were synthesized at the first time. The luminescence spectra of obtained metal complexes and copolymers in solutions, films and solid state are investigated and analyzed. The solubilization of β-diketonate complexes with phenanthroline was shown to change luminescence intensity in such complexes. Obtained copolymers can be used as potential materials for organic light-emitting devices
