HASHIMOTO THYROIDITIS IN 7-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN: A CASE REPORT
No full textHashimoto thyroiditis (AIT) is a common cause of hypothyroidism that can occur in childhood and adolescence (ages six to sixteen years) and often occurs in women. AIT can be determined by increases in TSH with normal thyroid hormone serum levels. The diagnosis of AIT based on clinical symptoms of hypothyroid, biochemical results, and ultrasound images. Treatment is carried out by administering levothyroxine at an initial dose of 1 – 2 g/weight/day. DIFFERENCES IN LEVELS OF ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION IN PATIENTS WITH CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE BEFORE AND AFTER PARTICIPATING THE CARDIOVASCULAR REHABILITATION PROGRAM PHASE II
Get PDFBackground: Cardiovascular disease continues to experience an increase in cases nationally and globally. Anxiety disorders and depression are psychological disorders that are often experienced by patients which can worsen the conditionher. Components in the phase II cardiovascular rehabilitation program can help increase functional capacity and improve psychological conditions (anxiety and depression) in patients with cardiovascular disease.Objective: This study aims to determine differences in levels of anxiety and depression in patients with cardiovascular disease before and after participating in the phase II cardiovascular rehabilitation program.Methods: The research uses analytical observational studies with technique total sampling in the medical records of patients with cardiovascular disease. HADS Questionnaire (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale) in the patient's medical records before and after participating in the phase II cardiovascular rehabilitation program will be compared using a comparative testWilcoxon two paired samples to determine differences in patient levels of anxiety and depression.Results: The largest distribution was found to be male patients, aged 51-60 years who suffered from CHD (Coronary Heart Disease) after CABG (Coronary Artery bypass Graft). This study shows that there are significant differences in levels of anxiety and depression in patients with cardiovascular disease before and after participating in the phase II cardiovascular rehabilitation program (p<0.001).Conclusion: A comprehensive phase II cardiovascular rehabilitation program can improve psychiatric conditions (anxiety and depression) in patients with cardiovascular disease

PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI INSAN CREDIT UNION MELALUI PELATIHAN MANAJEMEN KEUANGAN
Get PDFPengurus dan manajemen Credit Union (CU) merupakan ujung tombak dalam menggerakkan anggota dan menjaga keberlangsungan CU yang memerlukan pengetahuan memadai, terutama pengetahuan terkait Manajemen Keuangan. Tetapi pada kenyataannya, pengurus dan manajemen CU memiliki diversitas yang sangat tinggi baik dalam hal usia maupun pengetahuan sehingga mempengaruhi tata kelola CU. Oleh karenanya diperlukan suatu metode pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk menjembatani perbedaan pengetahuan pengurus dan manajemen CU. Pelatihan manajemen keuanga telah terselenggara pada tanggal 25 Februari – 6 Maret 2022. Dampak positif dari kegiatan ini terungkap pada saat peserta pelatihan menyadari kesalahan dalam mengelola keuangan Credit Union selama ini. Para peserta juga telah membuat perencanaan untuk melakukan perubahan dalam analisis pengambilan keputusan keuangan dengan proses akuntasi sesuai dengan materi pelatihan yang telah diberikan. Apabila perubahan ini dilakukan, harapannya Credit Union bisa dikelola dengan baik sehingga bisa tumbuh dan berkembang serta kesejahteraan anggota dan masyarakat semakin baik
PENGARUH PERCEIVED QUALITY, PRODUCT PACKAGING DESIGN DAN CONTENT MARKETING TERHADAP PURCHASE INTENTION PADA PRODUK SKINCALE
Get PDFThis research aims to prove the effect of Perceived Quality, Product Packaging Design, and Content Marketing on Purchase Intention on SKINCALE products. This research is quantitative research with judgemental sampling technique. The sample of this study were 165 people who live in Indonesia, are over 15 years old, have an interest in skin care, know skincare products for scar concealers, and use Instagram. Data collection was done through Google form. The collected data were analyzed using multiple liner regression with IBM SPSS Statistic 26 software. The collected data were then tested using normality tests, outliers screening, validity and reliability tests. The results of this study indicate that the Perceived Quality and Content Marketing variables have a significant and positive effect on Purchase Intention, while the Product Packaging Design variable affects Purchase Intention positively but not significantly. This research is expected to be additional information for researchers with similar topics and SKINCALE business development

The results of the research are that marketing local products in the global market requires a careful approach and strategies that are relevant to market conditions in various countries. Manufacturers must consider cultural factors, consumer preferences, competition, and market regulations that differ in several countries, so that they are able and fit to compete. By understanding the global market and adapting products to the needs and tastes of consumers in different countries, manufacturers will be able to increase their market share at the international level. So it is important for companies to have a good understanding of the global market as well as good marketing strategies to market local products
Uji Aktivitas Antikolesterol Ekstrak Kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala DC)
Get PDFKadar kolesterol dalam tubuh yang berlebih memiliki dampak yang buruk bagi kesehatan sehingga perlu dikontrol untuk menghindari resiko yang membahayakan tubuh. Alternatif pengobatan kolesterol selain dengan obat-obat sintetis dapat juga dengan memanfaatkan kandungan senyawa dalam tumbuhan seperti sayuran, buah, dan lain sebagainya. Kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala DC) merupakan salah satu sayuran mengandung senyawa seperti flavonoid, tannin dan fenol yang dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol dalam darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas ekstrak kale dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol. Analisis kualitatif ekstrak kale menunjukkan positif mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, dan saponin. Analisis kuantitatif aktivitas antikolesterol dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Lieberman-Burchard dengan seri konsentrasi ekstrak 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, dan 40 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak kale memiliki aktivitas antikolesterol dengan nilai EC50 sebesar 32,350 ppm
Hubungan Antara Dukungan Keluarga Dengan Tingkat Kepatuhan Diet Penderita Diabetes Melitus Di Puskesmas Jagir Surabaya
Get PDFDukungan keluarga yang baik membuat penderita DM menjadi patuh menjalankan terapi diet. Fenomena yang terjadi masih ada penderita DM yang tidak patuh menjalankan diet DM, karena tidak ada dukungan keluarga untuk mengingatkan dan memperhatikan makanan yang dikonsumsi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kepatuhan diet penderita DM di Puskesmas Jagir Surabaya. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan teknik pengumpulan data consecutive sampling. Responden sebanyak 45 penderita DM yang bersedia diteliti dan tinggal bersama keluarga. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah dukungan keluarga dan variable terikatnya adalah tingkat kepatuhan diet DM. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa 91% responden mendapat dukungan keluarga yang baik dan 89% responden mematuhi diet DM. Uji statistik Rank Spearman menunjukkan p = 0,000 dan koefisien korelasi + 0,883 yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif sangat tinggi antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kepatuhan diet penderita DM di Puskesmas Jagir Surabaya. Pihak puskesmas dapat melakukan kunjungan rumah dan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan untuk penderita DM bersama keluarganya tentang DM, secara khusus mengenai diet yang harus dilakukan
TRANSMITTING REFLECTIVE TEACHING PRACTICE INTO INDONESIAN EFL EDUCATORS’ PROFESSIONAL JOURNEYS
Get PDFIt is principal to understand that EFL educators’ professional journeys are affected by varied internal and external factors such as school policies, particular curriculums, and educational cultures. From this stance, reflective teaching practice can act as one of the promising solutions to transfigure EFL educators into more well-rounded and thoughtful learning facilitators, which in turn is helpful to improve their entire teaching qualities. The researcher initiated this current small-scale qualitative library study to exhaustively investigate the influential impacts of transmitting reflective teaching practice into Indonesian EFL educators’ professional journeys. To fully attain this main study objective, the researcher employed a thematic analysis in reviewing the specifically-obtained research results derived from 25 reflective teaching studies. Based on the thematic analysis, it was deduced that through the constant internalization of reflective teaching practice, EFL educators can gradually transform into more professional language learning facilitators who are capable of promoting better-facilitated English learning enterprises
