Inspirasi Teologis Komunitas Kristiani dan Interpretasinya oleh Gereja Mahasiswa (GEMA) Bandung
A community is a collection of individuals who are related to one another and are aware of their membership. Relationships among the community members are based on shared beliefs, goals, activities, or interests. This article traces the development of ideas about Christian community in the Scriptures, in the views of the Church fathers, theologians, and in the Church documents. Inspiration from the Scriptures is used to find the Christian vision of a community that can shape the evangelisation. The views of the Church fathers and of the later theologians are selected to provide an overview of the development of ideas about Christian communities that are more connected with the actual life of the faithful, especially the young generation. Pope Francis’ Postsynodal Apostolic Exhortation Christus Vivit (2019) is referred to in order to provide a picture of a Christian community that is more suited to the young people. Finally, the development of ideas about a Christian community will be correlated with the actual experiences of Catholic students at “Student Church” (Gema) in the Bandung Diocese, Indonesia. From this correlation, theological inspirations on the aspects of the Christian communities are further (re)interpreted from time to time by the moderator priests of Gema and are contextualised and lived in everydayness by the young Catholics studying in the city of Bandung
The Concept of Emergence in Non-Temporal Photography: A Non-Dualistic Approach
The problem of temporality in photography has invoked a continuous debate concerning the artistic nature of this medium. Previously taken as a different way of seeing, the time signature in a photograph became debatable along with the development of digital photography. Photography’s status as the undisputed evidence of the truth is then no longer relevant. This changes the flow of discourse to a more philosophical one. However, the debate does not provide adequate defence concerning the role of photography in the digital era. The Platonic dualistic approach, especially the Cartesian one, is responsible for this regress. Immanuel Kant introduces transcendental causality to re-examine the Cartesian legacy. This Kantian approach needs to be developed further. Stephen Hawking’s cosmological model of Quantum Field Theory (QFT) working in anti-de Sitter space (ADs) offers a better explanation on this Kantian transcendentalism. The research shows that the non-temporality of photographic images is irrelevant with the development of the medium because Hawking’s approach fits the transcendental interaction proposed by Kant. This article concludes that photography is independent from temporal demands, and that the advancement of photography lies in its potential to pursue non-duality interactions

From Judith to Mary: An Exploration of the Role of Women in Salvation History
In the Scriptures, Judith emerges as a prominent heroine of Israel, demonstrating her strength and intelligence to liberate her people from the grasp of oppression. On the other hand, Mary, Jesus’ mother, is revered as the Mother of God, who, through profound humility and obedience, embraces her pivotal role in the narrative of humanity’s redemption. This article aims to explore the significant parallels between these two remarkable figures, highlighting how they embody feminine qualities such as courage, intelligence, fidelity, and humility. These traits enable them to serve as divine instruments in the fulfillment of God’s salvific plan. Utilizing exegetical methods and theological reflections, the author emphasizes how Judith and Mary exemplify an active essence of femininity that transcends the patriarchal limitations traditionally placed on women’s roles in religious narratives. Both figures are positioned not merely as recipients of salvation but as active agents engaging in the divine work of salvation. This analysis can provide fresh insights into the contributions of women throughout the history of salvation and underscores their relevance in the ongoing struggles for liberation in contemporary contexts
Sakrifisi dan Algoritmanya: Sebuah Catatan Propadeutis tentang Rasionalitas Sakrifisial Penciptaan Nilai
The word ‘sacrifice’ is both admirable and repulsive. It can be a “desired value” or a “crime against humanity”. Unfortunately, our ancestors left sacrifice theories unresolved. This paper will demonstrate that analyzing and reinterpreting sacrifice texts and theories yields a “sacrificial algorithm.” This term ‘algorithm’ means methodological, not mechanical. This article delves into the economical logic behind sacrifice after examining different concepts and theories on the subject. To address this issue, this article proposes an alternative understanding of both sacrifice and the economy. A change in perspective on sacrifice allows people to recognize its capacity to generate inherent values. Sacrifice can be viewed as a rational response in an irrational world. This allows us to consistently return our lives and lived-experiences to the original meaning of sacrifice, sacra facere, to make something (or some act) sacred

EFFECTS OF FISCAL REDISTRIBUTION ON GENDER DEVELOPMENT IN INDONESIA: AN ANALYSIS OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF FISCAL ACCEPTANCE
Indonesia is still ranked 104th in the world in terms of gender development and is below other ASEAN countries namely Singapore, Malaysia, Viet Nam, and the Philippines. The purpose of this study is to analyze how fiscal redistribution influences gender development through different characteristics in each fiscal revenue with the GMM method. The results show that Gross Regional Domestic Product is influenced by Locally-Generated Revenue, General Allocation Fund, and Tax Sharing. While Specific Allocation Fund and Natural Resources Revenue Sharing worsen Gross Regional Domestic Product. But in the long run, all the effects that worsen Gross Regional Domestic Product are corrected and have an impact on increasing Gross Regional Domestic Product in Indonesia. Then Gender Development Index is influenced by Gross Regional Domestic Product, Locally-Generated Revenue, and General Allocation Fund, while the role of Specific Allocation Fund and Tax Sharing worsens Gender Development Index but in the long run, will increase and increase Gender Development Index. The different types of fiscal revenues also influence the Gender Development Index response as a consequence of the unique characteristics of each fiscal revenue variable. Our suggestion is that local tax sources paid to the center allocated through the balance fund need to consider gender aspects
Indonesia in Halal Tourism: Overcoming Challenges to Stay on Top
This paper analyzes the background of Islamic tourism in Indonesia using the concept of Islamic tourism by Din (1989) and to analyze the development of halal tourism, it uses the halal concept by Liu et al. (2018). The paper looks at how the Indonesian government managed to enter the list of top ten global halal tourism destinations in 2018, got on top in 2019, only to slip several notches below due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It also looks at how, by involving non-state actors such as those in the fashion and culinary industries, Indonesia has managed to climb back on top in 2023. Last but least, the paper also gives recommendations on what the government should do to maintain Indonesia’s number one position in halal tourism.

Strategi Tiongkok dalam Memanfaatkan Momentum Kebijakan Larangan Ekspor Bijih Nikel oleh Pemerintah Indonesia
The Indonesian government has enforced a prohibition on nickel ore exports since 2020. This study aims to illuminate China\u27s strategic approach in capitalizing on this situation. China\u27s strategy aligns its national interests with the domestic demand for nickel. Analytically, the framework of national interests sheds light on how Indonesia and China collaborate to satisfy their respective priorities mutually. China requires nickel supplies from Indonesia and seeks Chinese investment for Indonesia\u27s nickel downstream initiatives. Employing a descriptive qualitative research design, this study draws upon secondary data sources to examine Chinese companies operating in Indonesia. While not all companies have websites, the research reveals that China leverages the momentum created by Indonesia\u27s nickel export tires by investing in and expanding joint ventures with Chinese enterprises. China secures profits through these investments and business expansions while meeting its domestic nickel demand via imports from Indonesia. These joint ventures operate in industrial zones designated by the Indonesian government and are often funded by Chinese banks. This strategic interplay serves as a political tool for the Chinese government, leveraging its economic power and capital for broader national interests. Simultaneously, Indonesia wields its control over the world\u27s largest nickel reserves to attract Chinese companies to invest in the nickel processing and refining sector within its borders.

Gender-Responsive Policy in Water Management: An Outlook in ‘Citarum Harum’s Program
In Indonesia, rivers, crucial for clean water, currently face alarming pollution. Unfortunately, women, key in ensuring water quality, lack opportunities. This study aims to depict the state of the Citarum River, women\u27s involvement, and propose ways for women to optimize their role in managing domestic waste for river restoration. Using qualitative methods, the research identifies a connection between environmental issues and patriarchal challenges, emphasizing the need for comprehensive, gender-friendly policies. Recommendations from UN Water policies can be adapted for effective implementation in Indonesia. According to the research, the issue of the environment or water is a component of the traditional patriarchy problem, requiring gender-friendly strategies at all tiers. Even with initiatives to include women in areas such as water empowerment, women continue to be excluded from decision-making processes. Based on the research, it is recommended that women be made aware of their significance in gender-friendly policies and that their opinions should be considered during the decision-making process.
