Investigating factors causing delay in the implementation of urban development projects in the slums of Sari city
The present study was conducted in order to investigate factors causing delay in the implementation of urban development projects in the slums of Sari city. The present research is descriptive correlational in terms of method and applied in terms of objective. The statistical population of the study consists of mayors and deputies, departmental officials and all related experts of the central municipality as well as members, deputies, unit managers and experts in areas 1, 2 and 3 of Sari Municipality, the total number of whom surmounted up to 500 subjects. Based on the standard sampling table of Cohen et al., 217 individuals were selected as the statistical sample and a mixed, integrated method was used to provide access to the study sample. Required data was collected through a researcher-made questionnaire, the reliability of which, 0/86, was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. In order to test the hypothesis of the research, given the normality of the data, one-sample t-test and the Friedman rank test were used to rank the variables.The results of the research showed that organizational factors, time constraints, legal factors, contracting factors, credit and financial, accounting system, and executing projects are effective factors causing delay in the implementation of urban development plans in marginal areas of Sari. Also, the results of Friedman test have shown that organizational factors, time constraints, legal factors, respectively, have the most impact on the delay in the implementation of development projects and urban development in marginal areas of Sari
توظيف الخيارات المتقدمة لأغراض التحوط في مجال الانتاج الصناعي دراسة تطبيقية في عينة من شركات القطاع الصناعي العراقي الخاص
المستخلص يهدف البحث الى توظيف الخيارات المتقدمة في بيئة الانتاج الصناعي المساهم الخاص الذي يتكون من (20) شركة مسجلة في سوق العراق للأوراق المالية لغرض التحوط من المخاطر المالية التي تتعرض لها شركات هذا القطاع, وقد اعتمد لهذا الغرض مجموعة استراتيجيات وسيناريوهات مالية متقدمة منها التحوط باستخدام خيارات الشراء وخيارات البيع وحقوق خيار شراء وبيع مغطاة , وقد امكن ذلك من خلال اعتماد مقاييس ونماذج متطورة كنموذج ثنائي الحدين للمدة وللمدتين لغرض تحديد محفظة التحوط , وقد توصل البحث الى مجموعة استنتاجات مهمة منها :ان ارتفاع وانخفاض القيمة النظرية العادلة للخيار يرجع الى ارتفاع وانخفاض سعر السهم في سوق المال .تهدف محفظة التحوط إلى تحقيق معدل عائد مساوي تماما لمعدل العائد الخالي من المخاطرة.عند التعامل مع استراتيجية التحوط باستخدام خيارات الشراء ستكون ارباح وخسائر المستثمر في ظل التحوط هو الفارق بين العائد والمكافاة .عند التعامل مع استراتيجية التحوط باستخدام خيارات البيع ستكون ارباح وخسائر المستثمر في ظل التحوط تمثل الفارق بين العائد والمكافاة .تستخدم استراتيجية التحوط باستخدام حقوق خيار شراء وبيع مغطاة لزيادة العوائد .Abstract The research aims to employ the advanced options in the industrial production environment, which consists of (20) companies registered in the Iraqi Stock Exchange for the purpose of hedging the financial risks faced by companies in this sector. To this end adopted a set of advanced financial strategies and scenarios, Buy options, selling options and call options. This was done by adopting sophisticated standards and models as a two-dimensional and two-dimensional model for the purpose of identifying the hedge portfolio. The research reached a number of important conclusions:1. The rise and fall of the fair theoretical value of the option is due to the rise and fall in the stock market price.2. The hedging portfolio aims to achieve a rate of return that is fully equal to the risk-free rate of return.3. When dealing with a hedging strategy using buy options, the profits and losses of the investor under the hedge will be the difference between the return and the reward.4. When dealing with a hedging strategy using the selling options, the profits and losses of the investor under the hedge will be the difference between the return and the reward.5. The hedging strategy is used using covered call and sell rights to increase returns
Role of Humic fertilization on reducing water deficit and its relation to fruit yield of Okra and water productivity
A experimental was conducted during summer season 2016 at Agricultural College- Baghdad University, Iraq to determine the actual consumptive use by okra crop (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) under deficit irrigation conditions and humic fertilizer, as well as the assessment the productivity of water and yield. Four irrigation treatments were used 1.Full irrigation (traditional - control), irrigation was imposed at 50% depletion of available water (T0). 2. Deficit irrigation: cutting or omitting irrigation for 15 days in initial vegetative growth stage (T1). 3. Deficit irrigation: cutting or omitting irrigation for 15 days in middle vegetative growth stage (T2). 4. Deficit irrigation: cutting or omitting irrigation for 15 days in flowering stage (T3). Humic acid treatments included application of 4 rates (0, 10, 20 and 40)kg ha-1. The results show the depth water applied was varied with irrigation treatment reached 1115, 1065, 1000 and 994 mm season-1 and water productivity recorder 0.60, 0.44, 0.65 and 0.56 kg m-3 for (T0, T1, T2 and T3) respectively. The humic fertilization increased N, P and K content in okra fruit and theses indicated the role of humic acid to increasing vegetative growth (plant height, leafs number and leaf width), and leading to increase the amount of processed food and fruit yield
Radiographic study of the penis in adult Indigenous Gazelle ( Gazella subgutturosa )
Five specimens of adult Gazelle of (2-3) years old were used to study the internal pattern of the movement of blood inside the C.C.P. during erection, this was done by injected contrast media from the root of penis and photographed radio- graphically. The results showed that the penis of Gazelle has one dorsal canal on the dorsal part of the C.C.P., this canal extended from the root to the beginning of glans. From this canal the cavernous spaces of C.C.P. will be filled during erection by interconnecting canals.
The Effect of Piracetam against Acetyl Choline (Ach) In Behavioral Changes with Some Biochemical Parameters in Adult Mice
The effects of Piracetam against Acetyl Choline (Ach) in adult mice. The Medium Lethal Dose LD50 of Piracetam was 455.5mg/kg B.W. orally and Ach 7.25 mg/kg B.W i.p, then an animal’s are divided to 4 groups First group serves as control group given normal saline, a second 400 mg /kg B.W. o.p. of Piracetam and third group 5 mg/kg B.W. i.p. Ach. Forth group 400 mg /kg B.W. o.p. of Piracetam and 5 mg/kg B.W. i.p. Ach. The behavioral changes, the Run time, swimming, Time on glass, and biochemical parameters in Ach and Piracetam pretreatment significantly (P<0.05) decreased of Run time and swimming, then increased Time on glass when compared with the control. The open field test was significantly (P<0.05) increased the termer, depression when compared with the control. The liver function tests was significantly (P<0.05) increased the in level of GPT and GOT enzymes in the plasma at forth group
تحليل هيدروجغرافي لخصائص الموارد المائية الكمية في العراق
المستخلصتت ا زيد أهمية الموارد المائية حاليا في الع ا رق والمتمثلة بالأنهار والبحي ا رت والمسطحات المائية والمياهالجوفية نتيجة للزيادة السكانية والتطور الحضاري والتحضر وزيادة متطلبات الإنسان , لا سيما بعد انتعرضت هذه الموارد المائية إلى تغي ا رت كبيرة ومنها الطبيعية كالتغي ا رت المناخية المتمثلة بارتفاع درجاتالح ا ررة وتذبذب الأمطار فضلاعن التأثي ا رت البشرية التي تمثلت بعدد من الصناعات التي أنشئت خلالالستينات والسبعينات , والتي افتقرت إلى الشروط والمتطلبات البيئية سواء من حيث الموقع الذي أقيمتعليه تلك الصناعات أم من حيث المعالجات السائلة التي تتميز بارتفاع الملوثات التي تصرف مباشرة إلىالمصادر المائية أو إلى شبكات المجاري العامة دون معالجة أو بمعالجة جزئية للوحدات , وتتميز هذهالمياه بكونها تحمل الملوثات غير الصالحة للاستهلاك البشري أو الحيواني ومنها مياه الصرف الصحيالمياه العادمة الصناعية , والتي تعمل على زيادة تلوث مياه الانهار بالمواد الكيماوية أو عن طريق رفعدرجة ح ا ررة المياه نتيجة تبريد محطات الطاقة الكهربائية ومن ثم التأثير على الكائنات الحية الموجودة فيالمياه اوتغير طعم المياه وتسممها فضلا عن إلى المياه الز ا رعية المتمثلة بمياه غسل التربة والمبازل التييتم صرفها مباشرة إلى مياه الأنهار . الامر الذي نجم عنه مشاكل اقتصادية واجتماعية في عدد كبيرمن مناطق الع ا رق سيما مدينة بغداد والمناطق الجنوبية , اذ هجر عديد من الم ا زرعين الق ا رى وعدم كفايةالمياه للز ا رعة وهذا بالنتيجة اثر على نوعية وكمية المياه السطحية في الع ا رق وزيادة الأ ا رضي الصح ا رويةوزيادة العواصف الت ا ربية في الاونة الأخيرة
Synthesis and characterization of some heterocyclic compounds from 6-chloro-1,3-benzothiazole-2-thiol
This research involved some of heterocyclic derivatives from 6-chloro-1,3-benzothiazole-2-thiol by the reacted of this compound with chloro ethyl acetate to gave compound [1] in which reacted with hydrazine to gave compound [2] , the last compound will react with several reagents to gave a new series of heterocyclic derivatives in which compound [2] reacted with different aromatic aldehydes in ethanol to gave Schif bases [3,4] . The last compounds convert to β-lactam [5,6] by the reaction between Schiff bases and chloro acetyl chloride .Compound [2] react with CS2 ,KOH to gave a new derivative compound [7] in which reacted with hydrazine gave compound [8] and reacted with different aromatic aldehydes to gave another kind of Schiff bases [9,10] and cyclization of the last compound with 2-mercapto acetic acid to gave [11,12] .Reaction of compound [2] with phenyl isothiocyanate to gave compound [13] and cyclization of [13] by NaOH gave several new heterocyclic derivatives [14], these all compounds were characterized by their melting points, FTIR and 1H-NMR spectra for some of them
A flashlight on Hygiene Hypothesis
Is it necessary to live in too clean environment ? using of various types of sensitizer, cleaning soaps? or just like that live naturally without any fear of that expectant opportunistic creatures that may invade our bodies with all their deleterious weapons! Over use of such means may be simply two edges sword. This is the premise of the puzzle (hygiene hypothesis),our environment is too clean and our immune systems are no longer as heavily taxed with fighting off germs and bacteria. Increased rates of allergies and other conditions like asthma partly attributed to deviation in immune response because of poor immune response towards the infectious agents might be caught by normal contact with them
Effect of the relationship between vitamin C and serum ferritin on fertility.
Eighty Eight subfertile women and fourty fertile women (control group) enrolled in this study. The subfertile women subdivided into two subgroups according to the cause of subfertility: first group are women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) including 45 women. Second group are women with unexplained subfertility including 43 women. Their age range (16-40) yr. At day 3 and day 13 of menstrual cycle estimation of serum level serum ferritin and vitamin C. The results show significant increase in serum ferritin value in women with PCOS at day 3 and day 13 of menstrual cycle. Serum ferritin is lower in subfertile women with unexplaiened subfertility but this decrement is not significant. No significant changes in vitamin C level
PCR Detection of Enterotoxins and Methecillin Resistances Genes in Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from local food in Sulaimania City
Present study was carried out to evaluate bacterial contaminated foods in local markets of Sulaimania city. A total 250 samples were examined for isolation and identification of Staph. aureus, that producer to enterotoxins and resistances to methicillin . The samples included dressing of cake, soft chesses (white), ready to eat foods, red meat, and poultry. The results appeared that: the incidence of Staphylococci were identified in 175 (70%) of the total samples from those; 104(42%) were positive for Staph. aureus which had the ability to grow on the mannitol salt agar media, the most contaminate foods were dressing of cake 51% and soft chess 45% , While red meat was 44% and poultry 48% as well as ready to eat foods which contaminated with 35% of the samples. According to biochemical testes; Staph. aureus isolates had the ability to produce many enzymes like protease lipase, lethicinase , Coagulase , Catalase, also could fermented mannitol anaerobically and Hemolysin production, while all the isolates were oxidase negative. The production of enterotoxin tested by culture methods for Staph. aureus isolates showed that 57.14% of the isolates were enterotoxin producer. The producer isolates were confirmed by PCR to detect the existence of (sea, seb and sec) genes, so 55%of the tested isolates possessed these genes. Sensitivity to antibiotics applied to Staph. aureus isolates that enterotoxin producer revealed different percentage of sensetivity to different antibiotics, the isolates appeared sensitivity toward pencillin, methicillin, vancomycin. The Methicillin resistance Staph. aureus which tested by disk diffusion methods was 81.6%, but by PCR was 73.3%
