    PENERAPAN STRATEGI DISCOVERY LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK

    One of the teacher's tasks is to develop learning methods. An example of a method that can be used is discovery learning. The aim of this research is to discuss improving student learning outcomes on virus material through the application of the Discovery Learning strategy. Due to this, this study will use this learning strategy to improve student learning outcomes on viral material. This study focuses on finding out the application of the Discovery Learning Strategy in improving learning outcomes for class X students at SMAN 1 Maesaan for the 2022/2023 academic year. The researcher used the PTK research strategy with the research subjects being 24 class X MIA 1 students. This study uses observation sheets to collect data. The results of the research show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes for viral material. This is proven by the average score in the first cycle posttest of 70.16. The average value that increased in the second cycle posttest was 77.3%. Therefore, we can conclude that Discovery Learning is able to improve the learning outcomes of class X MIA 1 SMAN 1 Maesaan students

    IMPLEMENTASI MULTIMEDIA-PEMBELAJARAN IPA BIOLOGI MODEL PBL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

    The research aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 9.7 students of Manado 7 Public Middle School through the implementation of problem based learning multimedia learning models. The lack ability of students to think, understand, and solve problems, exacerbated by the situation after the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in disrupted learning activities, so learning multimedia is needed that can optimize learning outcomes and facilitate the learning process. Using the classroom action research method, the research subjects were 34 students. Conducted in two cycles with four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were analyzed using the formula P=ð¹/ð‘x100%. The results of the analysis show an increase in learning outcomes, as well as the ability to solve problems. This increase can be seen from the increase in classical completeness in each cycle, from an average of 65 cycles I to 82 in cycle II. Increasing the percentage of learning outcomes is 26%. The number of students fulfilling the minimum completeness criteria is 67% or 23 students (cycle I), to 94% or 32 students (cycle II). Student completeness from cycle I to cycle II increased by 27%

    Leakage of personal data is a serious challenge, the adverse effects of incidents of data leakage can result in fines, loss of reputation and public trust that has been harmed. Cyber security plays a role in minimizing the level of risk of cyberattack threats that disrupt the security of all system components such as infrastructure, software, hardware and data. This research was conducted to analyze the sentiments of the Indonesian people towards the queries "cyber security" and "data leaks" from Twitter user tweets. The data classification in this study uses the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm method. The purpose of this study is to determine the percentage performance of positive and negative sentiments. The results of the modeling performance are obtaining accuracy percentage values of 88.80%, Precision 29.27%, and Recall 30.77%. The results of the data visualization show that Indonesian people, especially Twitter users, give many negative opinions in response to this discussion. So the percentage of negative sentiment is higher than positive sentiment.Kebocoran data pribadi merupakan tantangan serius, dampak buruk dari insiden kebocoran data dapat menimbulkan denda, hilangnya reputasi hingga kepercayaan publik yang telah dirugikan. Keamanan siber berperan dalam meminimalisir tingkat terjadinya resiko ancaman serangan siber yang mengganggu keamanan seluruh komponen sistem seperti infrakstruktur, software, hardware dan data. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis sentimen masyarakat Indonesia terhadap query “keamanan siber†dan “kebocoran data†dari tweet pengguna Twitter. Klasifikasi data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode algoritma Naïve Bayes Classifier. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui performa presentase dari sentimen positif dan negatif. Hasil dari performa pemodelan yaitu memperoleh nilai presentase accuracy 88,80%, Precision 29,27%, dan Recall 30,77%. Hasil visualisasi data menunjukan bahwa masyarakat Indonesia khususnya pengguna Twitter banyak memberikan pendapat negatif dalam menanggapi pembahasan ini. Sehingga presentase dari sentimen negatif lebih tinggi dari sentimen positif

    Kotayasa Village is a village that has the highest number of poor households in Banyumas Regency with 1,662 poor households (78%). This study aims to determine which factors have a significant effect and interpret the binary logistic regression model for poor households in Kotayasa Village. The data used in this research is secondary data from the Office of Social and Community and Village Empowerment in Banyumas Regency. The results showed that the factors that had a significant effect on poor households in Kotayasa Village were electricity, gold savings and livestock. Meanwhile, factors that have no significant effect are sources of drinking water and private vehicles. The results of the analysis obtained the odds ratio values, namely electric power of 3,999, gold deposits of 7,963, and livestock of 1,497. The electric power variable shows that households with electric power less than equal to 900 have a greater chance of being included in poor households of 3,999. The gold savings variable is that households that do not have gold savings have a greater chance of being included in poor households of 7,963. The livestock variable shows that households that do not have livestock have a greater chance of being included in poor households of 1,497. Keywords: Odds ratio, binary logistic regression, poor household.Desa Kotayasa merupakan desa yang memiliki jumlah rumah tangga miskin terbanyak di Kabupaten Banyumas sebanyak 1.662 rumah tangga miskin (78%). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh signifikan dan menginterpretasi model regresi logistik biner terhadap rumah tangga miskin di Desa Kotayasa. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari Dinas Sosial dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Banyumas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap rumah tangga miskin di Desa Kotayasa adalah daya listrik, simpanan emas, dan hewan ternak. Sedangkan, faktor yang tidak berpengaruh signifikan adalah sumber air minum dan kendaraan pribadi. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai odds ratio, yaitu daya listrik sebesar 3,999, simpanan emas sebesar 7,963, dan hewan ternak sebesar 1,497. Variabel daya listrik menunjukkan bahwa rumah tangga dengan daya listrik kurang dari sama dengan 900 memiliki peluang lebih besar termasuk ke dalam rumah tangga miskin sebesar 3,999. Variabel simpanan emas yaitu rumah tangga yang tidak memiliki simpanan emas memiliki peluang lebih besar termasuk ke dalam rumah tangga miskin sebesar 7,963. Variabel hewan ternak menunjukkan bahwa rumah tangga yang tidak memiliki hewan ternak memiliki peluang lebih besar termasuk ke dalam rumah tangga miskin sebesar 1,497. &nbsp

    Hydroponics is a technique of cultivating plants with water that has been added with AB Mix nutrients. The hydroponic system used in this research is NFT. This system uses shallow water and is circulated continuously for 24 hours using a pump so that plants can get sufficient water, nutrients and oxygen. The electricity supply from PLN is not always available and the hydroponic system is not always made in places where PLN electricity is available, therefore in this research the voltage source comes from PLTS. In this research, a 50 Wp polycrystalline solar panel and a 70 Ah battery were used. To produce plants with optimal development, proper nutrition and pH are needed. Therefore, an Arduino-based pH and nutrition monitoring system is used. The results of pH and nutrient readings are displayed on the LCD screen. If the pH and nutrient level readings are outside the predetermined level, the buzzer will sound. To adjust the pH and PPM of hydroponic water to suit the needs of plants, you need to add a pH regulator and AB Mix to the hydroponic water. From the experiment, for every 5 mL of pH down added to 20 L of hydroponic water, the pH will decrease by 0.27, while for every 5 mL of solution A and 5 mL of solution B, there will be an increase in PPM of 50.89.Hidroponik adalah teknik membudidayakan tumbuhan dengan air yang telah ditambahkan nutrisi AB Mix. Sistem hidroponik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah NFT. Sistem ini menggunakan air yang dangkal dan tersirkulasi terus-menerus selama 24 jam menggunakan pompa sehingga tanaman bisa memperoleh air, nutrisi, dan oksigen yang cukup. Tidak selamanya pasokan listrik dari PLN selalu ada dan tidak selamanya sistem hidroponik dibuat di tempat yang tersedia listrik PLN oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini sumber tegangan berasal dari PLTS. Pada penelitian ini digunakan panel surya polikristal 50 Wp dan baterai 70 Ah. Untuk menghasilkan tanaman yang perkembangannya optimal maka dibutuhkan nutrisi dan pH yang tepat. Oleh karena itu digunakan sistem monitoring pH dan nutrisi berbasis arduino. Hasil pembacaan pH dan nutrisi  ditampilkan pada layar LCD. Jika pembacaan level pH dan nutrisi di luar level yang telah ditentukan maka buzzer akan berbunyi. Untuk mengatur pH dan PPM air hidroponik agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman maka ke dalam air hidroponik perlu ditambahkan pengatur pH dan AB Mix. Dari percobaan, setiap penambahan 5 mL pH down ke dalam 20 L air hidroponik maka pH akan turun 0,27 sedangkan untuk setiap 5 mL larutan A dan 5 mL larutan B maka terjadi kenaikan PPM sebesar 50,89

    This study mainly to describe the gender differences in wtiting complex sentences. Twelve (12) students grade eight (8) junior high school students in two different places, one is in North Sumatera and another one is in Manado – 6 males and 6 females – were instructed to write an informal letter to their friends. The writers use a descriptive qualitative method to classify and analyze the writing complex sentences. The object of this study was 12 students’ informal letter. The findings of this research are following: 1T-units (1 independent clause) for male is 36% and 1T-units for female is 64%; it shows a big gap. However,  the 2T-units (2 independent clauses) for male is 21% and for female is 17%, and 3T-units (3 independent clauses) for male is 11% and for female is also 11%

    THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HERRINGBONE TECHNIQUE IN TEACHING READING COMPREHENSION AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

    An efficient method of reading comprehension instruction is required for students to comprehend a text. This study's objectives were to examine if the Herringbone technique helps teach reading comprehension to vocational high school students majoring in fisheries and to explain the students' perceptions of the technique. This study's sample comprised students from the fisheries aquaculture technology department at Sekolah Usaha Perikanan Menengah (SUPM) in Pontianak. This study utilized a mixed-methods research approach. The researcher obtained data from the students by pre-test and post-test, observation, questionnaire, and interview. The Herringbone approach significantly impacts reading comprehension, as determined by statistical analysis. This research also demonstrated that the Herringbone approach was 14% effective in improving students' reading comprehension. Then, based on the students' perceptions of the Herringbone technique, it can be concluded that the students have a positive perception of reading comprehension while utilizing the Herringbone technique and the 5W1H method. In other words, the herringbone method significantly enhances students' reading comprehension in vocational high schools

    The Purpose in this study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) at SMP N 8 SATAP Tondano and to determine the feasibility of LKPD at SMP N 8 SATAP Tondano. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) research and development methods. The research model used is the ADDIE Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation model. The research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of a material expert questionnaire, a media expert questionnaire and a questionnaire for product trials (small groups). Based on the material expert validation trial in the form of a questionnaire obtained a result of 98% based on the results of the media expert validation trial obtained a result of 92%. The percentage is in very good category and is suitable for use in the field. Then the small group tryout consisting of 12 students at SMP N 8 SATAP Tondano obtained 86% results, so that the IPA LKPD especially on the subject of food additives developed was included in the "Very Good" criteria

    Energi terbarukan adalah sumber energi yang berasal alam yang mampu digunakan dengan bebas, mampu diperbarui terus-menerus serta tak terbatas jumlahnya. Indonesia memiliki potensi energi surya yang melimpah. Meskipun potensi melimpah namun pemanfaatan energi surya untuk Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) sampai 2020 baru 153,8 MW atau 0,07% dari potensi yang ada. Selain itu pemerintah terus mendorong transformasi energi di Indonesia dari energi fosil ke Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT), salah satunya melalui pembangunan Stasiun Pengisian Kendaraan Listrik Umum (SPKLU) yang bersumber dari  Energi terbarukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat desain PLTS atap 300 kWp untuk SPKLU di PLN Unit Induk Distribusi Jakarta Raya. Kajian desain meliputi kelayakan aspek teknis, lingkungan, dan ekonomi dengan menggunakan Software Hybrid Optimization of Multiple Energy Resources (HOMER) PRO Versi 3.2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konfigurasi sistem terbaik secara on grid dengan kelayakan ekonomi NPC(Rp) = 1,06B, COE = 69,96 Rp/kWh, dan PBP = 16 tahun. Tersedianya potensi energi matahari yang cukup besar dengan rata-rata 4,76 kWh/m2/hari dan pemanfaatan EBT yang besar dengan renewable fraction 68,6%. Total produksi energi (kWh/tahun) dari PLTS atap 632,038 atau 72,3% dari sistem. Dampak penurunan emisi gas rumah kaca berupa karbon dioksida 313,96 Kg/tahun, sulfur dioksida 4,583 Kg/tahun, dan nitrogen oksida 361,7 Kg/tahun

    Tikus merupakan hewan pengerat atau hama pengganggu yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian diberbagai sektor kehidupan, terutama pada sektor lingkungan perumahan. Untuk mengusir tikus di area perumahan masyarakat melakukanya dengan menggunakan jebakan atau perangkap tikus dan apa pula yang menggunakan racun tikus. Namun, cara tersebut dinilai dapat menimbulkan dampak yang buruk bagi lingkungan sekitar. Maka dari itu diadakan penelitian tentang cara mengusir tikus menggunakan gelombang ultrasonik yang terintegrasi dengan internet sebagai alternatif dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut. Alat ini tersusun atas beberapa komponen elektronik seperti mikrokontroller arduino uno yang berfungsi sebagai pusat pengendali dari seluruh sistem, sensor PIR berfungsi sebagai inputan atau masukan ke sistem, nodeMcu berfungsi sebagai modul yang dapat mengirimkan pesan notifikasi ke pemilik rumah melalui sebuah aplikasi telegram, dan generator ultrasonik yang berfungsi sebagai rangkaian pembangkit gelombang ultrasonik untuk mengusir tikus.
