PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KONTEKSTUAL PADA MATERI TEOREMA PHYTAGORAS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 3 TOULUAAN
Based on the information, students at SMP Negeri 3 Touluaan have relatively low mathematics scores and face difficulties in learning Pythagorean theorem material, which impacts their learning outcomes. To achieve better learning results, one alternative learning model that can improve student outcomes is the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. The purpose of this research, as presented in this thesis, is to determine the students' learning outcomes after implementing the CTL approach in teaching Pythagorean theorem material to Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Touluaan, and to assess the completeness of learning outcomes after using the CTL approach. The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive statistics, with datancollection techniques including questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Basednon the results of the study, the influence of contextual mathematics learning on students' outcomes in Pythagorean theorem material at SMP Negeri 3 Touluaan has been positive. Supporting factors in the learning process include high student interest in learning, while inhibiting factors are a lack of foundational knowledge in geometric shapes, angles, and related topics, as well as some students' reluctance to express their opinions and their diverse backgrounds
PENGARUH PENDEKATAN OPEN ENDED TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 LEMBO PADA MATERI SEGITIGA
The objective of this study was to assess the impact of the Open Ended approach on the mathematics learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Lembo, specifically regarding Triangle Material. This research is classified as pseudo-experimental, utilizing a quantitative approach and employing a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Class VII B served as the experimental class with 20 students, while class VII C acted as the control class, also comprising 20 students. The data collected for this study were analyzed using Microsoft Excel with a t-test, revealing a tcount value of 3.39484, which is greater than the ttable value of 2.02439 at a significance level of α = 0.05. Consequently, the research hypothesis was accepted. The findings of this study indicate that the Open Ended approach significantly influences the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Lembo in relation to triangle material
ANALISIS LINGUISTIK DIGITAL DALAM KONTEN FACEBOOK PRO: POLA PENGGUNAAN BAHASA IBU MUDA DI DUSUN GARANTIGA DAN HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN ENGAGEMENT AUDIENS
This study aims to analyze the linguistic patterns used by young mothers in Dusun Garantiga, Maros Regency, on Facebook Pro content, and to examine the relationship between digital writing and speaking skills and audience engagement levels. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with digital linguistic analysis. Data were collected through digital observation and online documentation of 120 posts from ten selected Facebook Pro accounts using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson and Spearman correlation tests with SPSS 25 for Windows. The results show that the linguistic patterns of young mothers’ digital communication are dominated by code-mixing (35%), informal style (28%), and netspeak (18%), indicating the use of casual greetings, abbreviations, emojis, and hashtags to create social closeness with audiences. Correlation analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between digital writing and speaking skills and engagement levels (r = 0.642; p < 0.05). Communicative and expressive language use was found to increase audience interactions such as likes, comments, and shares. Theoretically, this research enriches digital linguistics studies by highlighting community-based communication practices that have received limited academic attention. Practically, the findings offer recommendations for developing community-based digital communication literacy, particularly empowering young mothers in rural areas to utilize social media effectively as a medium for social and economic empowermen
PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP KATOLIK ST. ANTONIUS MANADO
This research aims to design and develop a learning device in the form of ethnomathematics-based LKPD containing questions and explanations related to local culture that are valid, practical, and effective. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) employing the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The percentage of assessment results obtained from media validators was 92.72%, and the percentage of assessment results from material validators was 96.66%, categorizing them as very valid. Based on the percentage of student responses to the ethnomathematics-based LKPD on the topic of surface area and volume of a cylinder, an average percentage of 91.99% was obtained, categorized as very practical. Furthermore, according to the effectiveness aspect, a student mastery percentage of 85% was obtained, categorized as very effective. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that the development of learning devices, in this case, ethnomathematics-based LKPD on the surface area and volume of cylinders, meets the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectivenes
ANALISIS TDS, pH, BOD DAN COD UNTUK MENGETAHUI KUALITAS AIR SUMUR DAERAH KILOMETER 12 KOTA SORONG
This study aims to determine the quality of well water in the Kilometer 12 area of Sorong City and its impact on the surrounding community. The physical and chemical parameters tested include temperature, pH, TDS, COD, and BOD. Testing was carried out using a thermometer, pH meter, TDS meter, and COD Reactor at the PT. Pertamina International Refinery RU VII Kasim Laboratory. The analysis results showed that all parameters were in the good category: temperature 24°C, pH 6.5, TDS 172 ppm, COD 8 mg/L, and BOD 1 mg/L. These conditions indicate that the well water is not significantly contaminated and is suitable for domestic use. PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA DALAM MATERI KOORDINAT KARTESIUS DI KELAS VIII SMP N 2 AMURANG
This study aims to identify whether the learning outcomes of students who learn using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model are higher than the learning outcomes of students who learn using the Conventional learning model on Cartesian Coordinates material. This research is a study that uses a posttest-only control group design. The population of this study were all students of class VIII and the samples in this study were class VIII A as an experimental class consisting of 30 students and class VIII B as a control class consisting of 30 students at SMP N 2 Amurang in the academic year 2024/2025. The results revealed that there were differences in the learning outcomes of students taught using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model with students taught using the Conventional learning model. Based on the above results, it is concluded that learning by using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on Cartesian Coordinates material
ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII DALAM MATERI SEGITIGA
The aim of this study was to assess students' understanding of mathematical concepts pertaining to triangle topics. This research employed a qualitative approach, intending to generate descriptive data through written and verbal expressions from various sources observed. The study took place at SMP Negeri 1 Tenga, located in South Minahasa. Data collection methods comprised written tests and interviews, which were administered to a total of 12 eighth-grade students. The gathered data was analyzed by categorizing students into three groups based on their understanding of mathematical concepts. Findings revealed that 83.3% of the eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Tenga achieved a high level of understanding at the translation stage, as this indicator was relatively straightforward. In contrast, 66.6% demonstrated a good understanding at the interpolation stage, as some students were able to effectively select and apply appropriate procedures. However, only 33.3% of students exhibited comprehension at the extrapolation level, which fell into the low category, primarily due to difficulties in problem-solving accuracy and an insufficient grasp of the problems. Additionally, the distribution of understanding levels included 3 students in the high category, 3 in the medium category, and 6 who displayed a very low understanding of mathematical concepts at both the extrapolation and interpolation levels, as well as at the translation leve
KESALAHAN SISWA SMP DALAMA MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PADA MATERI SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABEL
This research is backgrounded by the difficulty of students in solving problems on the material of the system of linear equations of two variables. This research uses descriptive quantitative analysis techniques, namely by steps 1) Data collection, 2) Data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) conclusion drawing. The data were collected through a written test in the form of 5 essay questions and interviews conducted with 3 students, as well as distributing questionnaires to all students based on Polya's theory. This study aims to determine the types of errors and the causes of these errors. The subjects used in the study were class students IX A SMP Negeri 1 Tondano totalling 26 students. The results showed that students made errors at the reading stage by 67%, developing a plan by 50%, implementing the plan 59.23%, and checking back by 84.61%. Errors are caused by several factors such as the habit of students who do not record important information contained in the problem, lack of accuracy in reading the problem, inability to put the problem into mathematical form, difficulty continuing the planning made and not being accustomed to checking back the results of the answers obtained and drawing conclusions from the answers that have been obtained
PENGEMBANGAN LKPD INTERAKTIF BERBASIS INKUIRI TERBIMBING PADA MATERI PERSAMAAN REAKSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA
Effective learning requires an active, creative and fun approach, and provides space for students to channel their potential according to their interests and talents. In the context of chemistry education, which involves abstract concepts such as changes in matter at the atomic or molecular level, learning strategies are needed that support in-depth understanding. One relevant approach is the guided inquiry model, which provides direction to students to develop their analytical skills. This research aims to develop an interactive Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on guided inquiry on chemical reaction equations to improve the learning outcomes of class X SMA Negeri 1 Bolaang. Development was carried out using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model with validation by material and media experts, as well as product trials. Data collected includes product feasibility validation, student learning outcomes, and input from validators. The research results show that guided inquiry-based LKPD is valid, practical and effective for use as a learning medium. This product helps students not only understand concepts but also carry out scientific proofs, thereby improving critical thinking skills. The benefits of this research include contributions for students, teachers and researchers in developing innovative and interactive learning media in the field of chemistry education
PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE SCRIPT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 8 SATAP TONDANO
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script di SMP Negeri 8 SATAP Tondano. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 14 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Secara klasikal ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative script pada siklus I yaitu 57,14% meningkat pada siklus II 92,86%. Aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yakni pada siklus 1 dengan persentase 46,42 kategori aktivitas yang kurang, meningkat pada siklus 2 dengan persentase 82,14 termasuk kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative script dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 8 SATAP Tondano
