GROWING PROSPECTIVE ENTERPRENEURS IN UNIVERSITIES
The increasingly fierce competition of human resources forced universities to prepare graduates who had to have hard skills and soft skills. To reduce unemployment, lack of confidence, lack of understanding of scientific actualization, and other obstacles faced by college graduates, one of the programs implemented at UTY is providing entrepreneurial provisions. Entrepreneurship Development Program (PPK) through various stages is a relationship among students, entrepreneurship, business world and UTY. Support and commitment to entrepreneurship development at UTY are developed through the Field of Entrepreneurship including creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship by providing incubation support to grow and equip students in implementing the business world and entrepreneurial spirit
ENHANCING MICRO AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNER MANAGERIAL SKILLS THROUGH BASIC ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES TRAINING IN LARANGAN INDAH SUBDISTRICT, TANGERANG CITY
Many micro and small business owners do not carry out accounting properly because they do not have a good understanding of basic accounting principles. Poor accounting causes the owners do not know the health of their businesses and cannot make the right decisions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their businesses. To help micro and small business owners improve their knowledge of accounting, Postgraduate Program, Universitas Prof. University Dr. Moestopo organized community engagement activities in the form of training in basic accounting principles. The training participants consisted of 28 micro and small business owners who were domiciled or residing in the Larangan Indah Subdistrict. The training was conducted using lecture or classroom methods. To evaluate training, the Kirkpatrick’s Model is used with evaluations carried out in the reaction and learning areas. Based on the results of evaluating the reaction using the satisfaction questionnaire, it is known that the participants showed positive reactions while based on the results of the evaluation of learning using a comparison between pre-test and post-test scores it is known that the participants experienced an increase in knowledge. The aspects that will be improved in the next training are audiovisual aids, facilities, and schedule.  
OPERATIONAL STRATEGY OF SMEs IN BUSINESS COMPETITION THROUGH ENVIRONMENT BASED PRODUCTS / SERVICES IN SOUTH MERUYA – WEST JAKARTA
This community service is carried out to encourage the community to be creative and independent with entrepreneurs. Activities can be carried out by partnering, building partnerships will make it easier and more excited. The community of South Meruya village has partnered with PKK and RPTRA Menara, also to help one of the DKI Jakarta government programs. Residents have carried out production activities, if there is a desire or order, for that the scale of production and marketing needs to be increased. These community activities can be expanded to reach products and services that begin with environmental problems that require involvement in conservation as well as having economic potential. It is expected that the community understands the importance of environmental sustainability as an economic resource that can be a source of income for the community. SMEs need to expand business alternatives while simultaneously becoming agents of pollution prevention and improving the quality of life together through a clean environment. The real pressure of pollution and environmental awareness issues has opened up new products that can be marketed. SME business people consider environmental aspects because their awareness of environmentally conscious consumers has increased. After the training and assistance of the SMEs South Meruya community together with PKK will better understood the potential and strategies of a sustainable environment-based business
IMPROVEMENT OF SLUM AREA WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION FACILITIES IN THE NORTH KEMBANGAN AREA OF WEST JAKARTA
Environmental sanitation is part of public health which includes the principles of efforts to eliminate or master environmental factors that can cause disease through activities aimed at (i) water sanitation, (ii) food sanitation, (iii) sewage systems, (iv) air sanitation, (v) vector control and disease rodents, (vi) home hygiene. When sanitation problems arise in dense residential areas that are not well ordered and are also not handled in a way that is not sanitary, it will pollute the surrounding environment. Changes in community behavior to be more environmentally friendly do not just happen, but through the process of forming behavior that has a background and motivation. The motivation then raises behavior that influences the actions and efforts of the community towards the sustainability of the activity. So that this study will also analyze the role of the community and other involved stakeholders in the mechanism of improving the sanitation of the slum environment. MCK management activities are part of the practice of community behavior in improving sanitation. The government of the North Kembangan village has tried to improve this condition through programs to improve the settlement environment with the concept of community empowerment, this program involves community participation starting from the planning, implementation to the utilization and maintenance stages. It is expected that with this community participation a sense of ownership of development outcomes can be achieved so that the sustainability of the program can be achieved
A TRAINING OF SAVING CULTURE FOR OSCAR KINDERGARTEN STUDENT IN SERANG
Saving is an action that can produce positive results. Through saving, someone can prepare funds for the unexpected, or maybe saving activities used as preparation for the needs that have been previously predicted. Saving should be used as a habit. However, not all people have the habit of saving, it needs to be used as a habit in one's life, for that it needs to be educated since childhood so that saving activities become a habit so that in the end the saving culture is never passed until the child becomes an adult. Age 4-6 years is an important age in human life because the imagination and duplication power of children is very high. Therefore it is necessary to education about "saving culture". If a child has been accustomed to setting aside some of his allowance for savings, it will become a habit when growing up. Based on this, the article titled: A training of saving culture for OSCAR Kindergarten Students in Serang, discusses the importance of saving culture starting early. The technique used in this training is Persuasion Communication with contexts tailored to kindergarten students
DESIGN BRANDING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF VISUAL IDENTITY FOR “KEDAI OMAH JLAMPRANG” PEKALONGAN - CENTRAL JAVA
Empowering the community is one of a series of activities that must be carried out by a lecturer at Binus University. This empowerment program has been implemented in various cities and regions in Indonesia, including in the Krapyak, Pekalongan City. This program involves lecturers from various programs at Binus University, such as from the Architecture department, interior design department, hotel management department, tourism department, management department, marketing communication department and also visual communication design department. There are a variety of training materials designed to develop the mindset and economic independence activities of the PKK and Karang Taruna groups in the Krapyak area, Pekalongan City. Empowerment is summarized in the establishment of Kedai Omah Jlamprang, an integrated shop offering culinary specialties of Pekalongan City, batik and various Pekalongan City handicraft products, providing a place to gather in developing the creative ideas of the community, and various activities that support the creation of Krapayak people's economic independence, so as to be able to advance this area in an integrated manner. Support by the department of visual communication design provided in the form of training in recognizing and implementing branding programs for Kedai Omah Jlamprang so that it has a strong visual identity. EMPOWERMENT UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH IN WEST JAKARTA TO PREPARE A BETTER FUTURE
There are still underprivileged citizens in Jakarta, even around high-class residences in West Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to find out how the right empowerment for adolescents from underprivileged families in Jakarta, therefore they prepare for their future better than their parents. The concept used is Corporate Social Responsibility and Empowerment. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were teenagers who registered in the KEJAR SIWALI group, a study group for children from the lower economy because their parents were scavengers and unskilled labourers. Methods of data collection through interviews with KEJAR SIWALI coordinators and five teenagers as informants who attended the research activity were more than five meetings. The results of the study show that the empowerment program for them is to use other teenagers (students of the college) to maintain their ideals to become scholars even till Master or PhD, even though their economic class are less than other teenagers in Jakarta. They are rarely snacking and they want to save money. Basically, they have the enthusiasm to learn to improve the familys economic level, even though they dont know how to finance their lives later. Their aspirations want to be teachers, Civil Servants, Entrepreneurs, Accountant and Doctor. They do not like to see other teenagers, pregnant before marriage and early marriage. The BKKBN program has been successful in this group. Their religious activities were done obedience, and they hope the empowerment in soft skills such as public speaking, IT, accounting and sports
EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES THROUGH CREATION OF MURAL ART AS AESTHETIC SUPPORT IN ‘KEDAI OMAH JLAMPRANG’ PEKALONGAN
Krapyak Village - Pekalongan, is currently improving itself to become a tourist destination based on the carrying capacity of Geographical, Cultural, Human Resources owned, including; Slamaran Beach, Batik Industry with typical motifs of Jlamprang, Culinary specialties of Pekalongan, and community human resources who will be trained in their independence. Community Development Academic (CDA) - Binus University facilitates the transfer of knowledge from lecturers from various interdisciplinary disciplines to be applied directly to the community or community that requires capacity building in connection with the preparation to develop tourist destinations. Through a long collaboration and discussion between the campus and the government of Krapyak - Pekalongan Urban Village, it was decided to build a culinary shop where joint learning could serve typical Pekalongan meals, outlets selling batik and handicraft products of SMEs, as well as a convenient spot for community gathering to build understanding of tourist area preparation. Through training programs on the physical building architecture of the shop, Interior Design settings and selection of equipment for chairs and souveneer creation training, mapping of tourist attractions, culinary training in making menus and cooking, Management of shop and financial management. Visual Communication Design plays a role in thecreation of identity branding, starting from naming 'Kedai Omah Jlamprang' and its completeness and Mural Art to build a cozy atmosphere of a shop through the work of aesthetic elements that have meaning. All of these training programs involve discussions and practical workshops on product creation that involve lecturers and SME communities in the Krapyak - Pekalongan village, so that the objectives of the Fostering & Empowering Society can occur. It is hoped that this process will build trust and desire to grow economic independence in the community
FORGIVENESS THERAPY FOR SALEMBA PENITENTIARY INMATES
Forgiveness is defined as "motivation to reduce the desire to avoid and take revenge on someone who has hurt or offended him or her, and to increase the meeting between two parties to solve a problem if it is considered safe, wise, or possible to do" (Worthington et al., 2000 : 229). Salemba Prison inmates are prisoners or Penitentiary Guards, or they can be still in the judicial process and has not been found guilty or not by the judge. They are serving a sentence for a crime they have committed. From the data in various media, a person commits a crime caused by various things, one of which is because of revenge. This revenge comes from anger that is fostered continuously and encouraged someone to do violence. Therefore, a positive effort is needed to be able to lead this anger and revenge, become units of behavior through the process of forgiveness. Therefore, forgiveness therapy psycho-education is an important thing that needs to be done to Salemba prison prisoners
UTILIZATION OF SPARES LAND USING HYDROPONIC PLANTING METHOD TO IMPROVE FAMILY WELFARE IN ANGGADITA VILLAGE, KARAWANG
Sukamulya Hamlet, Anggadita Village is one of the hamlets located in Klari District, Karawang Regency, West Java. Anggadita Village is located in a densely industrial and residential area so it is very arid. The density of settlements around the village of Anggadita Karawang and the lack of land that can be used to plant crops is a problem of the lack of interest of residents to plant. Hydroponic cultivation is a solution to the problem of limited land for the residents of Anggadita Village, Karawang. By providing training to residents it is hoped that residents around the village of Anggadita Karawang can continue to increase their hydroponic plant production so that the production of their hydroponic plants can be increased and can be consumed by themselves so that household expenses can be saved. The method used is training in how to plant and care for plants by applying fertilizers so that the yield of hydroponic plants is increasing. The training was carried out by practicing how to plant hydroponics, followed by visits to the homes of residents to evaluate the growth of the plants
